Two-time World all-around champ Simone Biles looks ahead to 2015

- USA Gymnastics caught up with two-time World all-around champion Simone Biles, her parents and coach Aimee Boorman to reflect on Simone's incredible success and look ahead to the future, including Simone's 2015 debut at the AT&T American Cup on March 7.
Coach Amy is my favorite coach. She just seems so kind. And she is a beauty too, her eyes are gorgeous. Simone and Amy's team is definitely a match. And Amy paced Simone so good and has not been on full potential yet. Definitely good coaching!
Man...she walks on a balance beam like she's walking on the floor....no staggering.....AY-MAZING. All I can do is stare at her. Just amazing.
Such a beautiful kid inside and out and a powerful physique as well. I can't wait for Rio.

Gabby Douglas and Dominique Dawes. Simone is great but I think Dominique Dawes paved the way for young African American girls to do gymnastics.
Katie, my comment has nothing to do with race and everything to do with gymnastics. Simone is a fabulous role model for members of the HUMAN race, no matter their skin color. It's about her amazing attitude, upbeat positivity that elite has not been able to crush...she's just an awesome person with a special kind of spark that comes along once in a generation..if we're lucky...

If there's an award for coaches Simone Biles coach definitely deserves coach of the year.One of the best interviews that I have ever seen. And I'm addicted to watching interviews totally honest up front straight-to-the-point great interview. She has the eye for great talent!

An Amazing young lady!! I was a big Mary Lou fan as a kid, loved Gabby Douglas at the Olympics, and now I am jumping on the Simone Biles bus!! Can't wait to see her at the Olympics in 2016.
It's kind of annoying when people say she will be the "next Gabby Douglas." Do people just say that because she [Simone] is also African American? I don't think we should compare other gymnasts because of their race or background. Simone and Gabby are two outstanding gymnasts, but they both have a style of their own. Gabby Douglas had the power, but she also had a lot of grace and flexibility, especially on bars. Simone however has an amazing blast of power, it's incredible! She has height consistency in her tumbling. Both are awesome, great gymnasts that I look up to, as a gymnast myself. Just had that thought though.
So excited about this upcoming gymnastics season!! Wow simone's new upgrades look great. Props to her coach Aimee for keeping her healthy.
I think Aimee is so good for Simone she has her grandparents as her parents by put she doesn't have a biological mom. Though her grandparents are great I think Aimee understands the void Simone must feel even if she never says that. She is such a amazing athlete . I hope all her dreams come true she deserves this more than anyone. I respect her so much.
Her coach is amazingly supportive and probably partly one of the reasons Simone is so successful

+Seventy Seven Nope. Totally natural. The most common is blue/brown, but there is also blue/green and blue/gray, etc. It's more common in cats and dogs but one of my best friends has it.

I hope so too. After the Bella and Marta era which was tainted by bullying, demoraling and harassment it is nice to see that coaches can be loving to their athletes AND produce good results!
I agree! It's quite a statement actually. I love how Kim Zmeskal trains her athletes as well. Positive reinforcement and loving attitude instead of the old traditional frustration and yelling that coaches often disguise by calling it "character building." There are more effective ways of building an athlete and their character than demoralizing them, harassing them and putting pressure on them because the coach may have a short temper or may not be able to cope with the pressure themselves.
Also you can totally see the national team even today not totally embracing Marta. I'm sure Marta has come a long way but you can tell she is still rough around the edges...

I am so proud of Simone biles, she is a fierce and incredible competitor. You can tell she enjoys what she does and is driven by that passion, to bring the best out of all she contributes to her performances...This young lady is blessed on so many levels...you can't help but want to see so many great things happen for this, beautiful and incredibly talented young lady..I love to hear how she continues to compete on levels that is constantly raising the bar for all competitors in her sport..She is truly an interesting athlete to pay attention to.
They should make a movie about her

They should make a documentary series instead. She is bigger than a movie. While others were thinking of Gymnastics as an Olympics thing, Simon racked up millions of dollars even before the Olympics began. She has opened up a new possibility for women in sports. Who knew a gymnast can call herself a millionaire before Olympics started?

Simone is so incredible. She is an inspiration. I get emotional when I hear her story. I think all of the gymnasts are amazing because this is one of the hardest sports I've ever seen. Simone is just incredibly inspiring and so humble. It's beautiful to see her grow. I feel humble and inspired to watch her.

Oh god, so excited for her to debut her new skills. Love the wolf to front punch. I wonder when that Grigoras will come into play. So she has a double layout full out that she is going to use at the AC, but she's training the Moors. I know she must be training the TTY as well, and I don't think she'll be doing the Cheng at Scam. No Mustafina dismount either for the competition, which I am glad to hear. Pacing is key and they are being smart about it.
She seems so calm and nonchalant to the fact that she is training the Cheng as a second vault.

Congratulations for The Bile performance, Olympics 2016! Getting thru Nationals, World trials and Olympic qualifiers is a huge accomplishment. What a lovely, down to earth and happy young woman. She really looks like she loves what she does, which is just so important (I've seen too many dancers and gymnasts who look so unhappy and tense and stressed over the years).

I didn't even notice until I saw some comments that she has 1 blue and 1 brown eye. That's so amazing! Such a rare combination of different traits between Aimee and Simone! That might be why they are so close, they both have rare and amazing hidden features of them (OK maybe Simone's isn't hidden but you get what I mean)

Ellen Miller Simone is just a different type of gymnast.. she doesn't have the same body type as those three and is a lot shorter than them as well so it seems almost ridiculous to give them an advantage for something out of her control.

Holy smokes! So much to address in this video. That double double layout though, and mustafina on bars, and front with a half on beam... and everything else! She is literally unbeatable. I'd like to see some girls challenge her though no one likes a shut out at the olympics...
Sometimes i feel that she is not really good in artristry, doesn't do her routines beautifully and stuff like that but she is just incredible! She is very likable and her skills are gorgeous and i think she's gonna be stoppable if she doesn't get injured. Good luck to you, Simone! :)

I think Simone Biles' domination is good for Women's Artistic Gymnastics. She's pushing all the other gymnasts to have high difficulty. Everyone knows if they want to beat Biles, they have to go all out. It'll make for an exciting quad! I'm super stoked for the U.S. Classic and to see if the other gymnasts have upgraded a lot to pressure Simone.
