I noticed a minor inaccuracy with this video. You said the angarra expanded to Harvarl, but that is incorrect. That's the angarran's home world as far as the angarran know, so it's safe to say that they traveled to Aya instead.
Billy Fenn From what I remember, the wording could be slightly improved on, but what was meant is that contact was re-established. Their homeworld is Havarl but due to the scourge, contact between other planets became limited until they found a way around this.
I just finished my first playthrough and I have that empty feeling in my chest. Going to start a new one now. Thanks for all your Mass effect Andromeda videos they keep me feeling like I am not the only hardcore Mass Effect fan out there 👍
This is a theory on my part, which I got when I wondered where the other Milky Way races are, while I'm romantic with Jaal. If you look closely at Jaal, you see so clearly his Quarian / Turian legs, his head are fairly shaped like a Hanar, he has broad shoulders and a small nose reminiscent the Elcor, and large eyes like the Drell ... This might not be entirely coincidental, can it?
tehharu I think the Scrooge is almost 600. so the kett arrived about two hundred or so years later. as old as the title of the beloved moshje (srry if i missed spelled it) as the kett coming into play so I'm guessing maybe 300 or so. math is not my strong shit. I just remember that there's a mission where u talk 2 3 old Angora who remember the kett. I think one was a young adult. another was a kid. the 3rd I forget.
tehharu i say their lifespan is longer than humans but shorter than asira jaal said that some of the elders remember a time before the kett and and they probably came some time after they lift the milky way this will also explain things like how their more forus on today instead of tomorrow and their large families if they lived as long as sularians they would be like the sularians and if they lived as long as humans and turians they wouldnt have living remember before the kett arrived
The kett only arrived 80 years before the Milky Way races arrived, according to Jaal when you first introduce him to the rest of your squad. So, longer than salarians certainly, and since it was an "elder" who remembered the kett arriving, I would assume their lifespan is similar to human/turian/etc. But that's only an assumption, so it'd be nice to get more concrete info from the game.
I just finished my first play-through a few days ago, was a long one 74 hrs. Got the best ending and secret cutscene. Im not 100% guy and didnt 100% it by did a lot of side missions, i played multiplayer like once so far.
Mesmerized by the eyes. Obsessed with their appearance. In love with their emotional transparency. I think the angara are a new obsession and I'm mad about it cause I can't afford the game or a computer that can actually play it :/
@@BuckerydogSchmuckeryDogI 've FINISHED it. Not as many times as previous mass effect games which i have completed 5 times (all 3 of them). @@Nick-GR Why tf would you put yourself through playing ME3 5 times? Oh and I do love the story of Andromeda especially with it's themes of colonizers vs. refugees. How we see the story in different lights. I love the thought that the Angara are more of an artificial race and aren't really native to the area which also calls into question how we see native cultures. Of course the combat is leaps and bounds ahead of the other games. I don't really care about the characters, but then again I didn't give af about the characters from the main series either. Regardless it's a really clever, gorgeous game and extremely underrated. It didn't deserve the backlash it got.
For whatever reason, the Angara struck me as rabbit-like in appearance. Then this video taught me that the lobes I mistook for floppy ears are attached to their torso. Yeah, not as rabbit-like as anticipated.
Bioware - So, we need a new race & they need to be at war with the bad guys Andromeda writers - That's easy - Quarians !! Bioware - Been there, done that we said NEW race Andromeda writers - Bigger quarians without suits ?
Nah i just looked at some pics to double check and they do have straight legs although there weird spike things make it look like they are back jointed
as far as digging through lore goes, this was more like staring at the grass rather than grabbing a shovel and getting to work. everything said in the video are very plainly, and deliberately explained by the characters throughout the game. I'm not mad at you though. I'm mad at the game. Unfortunately it is not on the level required to have deep and satisfying lore. given how crappy the dialogue was written, the likelihood of deeply hidden messages telling a comprehensive and fulfilling story through hints and level design is virtually none. it sucks for you guys. having a channel based on a game series of which the latest iteration is a travesty compared to the originals can really kill a channel.
It’s a little sad Andromeda did so poorly and was broken in a lot of ways. The overall story was pretty intriguing and sequels could have made it a better franchise if they tweaked some stuff to be as good as the original trilogy. It’s just damn sad. We need another studio to step up and make Mass Effect spiritual successors since BioWare probably won’t be up to the task anymore...
They need to make a DLC where you can just be pure evil. Enslaving Angara, conquering the exiles, making yourself dictator of the initiative. It would be awesome to have a DLC allowing us to go evil and change the story like that.
They didnt at first as you can hear Angara speaking there native language through Coms, but whilst the tempest is landing Sam accessed the Angara Databases somehow and began translating there language, which was pretty quick since he is an AI
Actually you werent first contact. The nexus exiles met the Angara at Kadara port about half a year ago. Pretty sure the Angara already developed a way to understand Milky Way species since then
These aliens seem very interesting but the visuals in this game make me cringe....the way the hands look like barbie hands and unmoving fingers....cannot take this game seriously.
The angara are mammals? I thought they were amphibian this whole time
they are a feline types of alien
Arklight10 i remember hearing about the jaal romance and he had nipples which makes them mammals
My first question when seeing a new alien race in a game is "does it have nipples?"
The Angara look... beautiful.
Fidel Alvarado Ummh well.. let's say I'd still hit it.
@ThatAussieGamer117 yh man fuck our fleshy skin based species
Such a relief every alien speak English in Andromeda

5 years ago. This game came out 5 years ago and yet my computer still can't run it faster than a slideshow that's frozen
The fact that they're mysteriously cabable of remembering previous reincarnations differitaites them from other aliens we've encountered from ME1-3.
um... I've played through it four times. nah, I'm not obsessed at all..
Fionan Diggin
And I just finished my first playtrough xD
Lemon KING I'm not lying I wish I was. I have had no school for a week and don't have it for 2 more, also its not a 100% playthrough
#humblebrag
I really really like the Angara, hope we can see even more new aliens in the future
Nostalgically, Andromeda was my first mass effect game I got into because I foolishly assumed that it was a prequel.

could the angaran creaters create the early kett?
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks that. When I learned that the Kett have no reproductive organs, I found that glaringly suspicious.
So how do the angara use biotics? Like the monshi does she's the only angara I have seen using them
Lol they rode space whales to travel the stars, we would love see it.
Ive played only twice once as Scott and Sara.
