These settings are more optimized for a consistent experience as well as taking battery life into consideration, offering a decent 40hz lock option. all tests were completed using 4GB VRAM
I’ve got my settings really well optimized for Diablo on the ally. I’m sticking to 720 with everything at medium with a custom unplugged 15w where I get between 55-65 FPS. I’ve got the fan settings at three for both. My average watts are 21, which gets me right under 2 hours. For plugged I set my manual to 25 watts and I’m getting well over 90 FPS. I’ve also tweaked the adrenaline settings to improve color on the screen. All in all, VERY happy with Ally/Diablo performance
Yeah I do play world tier, 2? Whatever the harder difficulty is. But definitely need more help on this one as I'm just not at the endgame yet! Edit: thank you!!
@@WinDeckTech I wasn’t either. I just heard that season one is coming out the 20th so I went to beat the game. I was just discovering the world and leveled up to 55 before I went to do the campaign
@@michaellee316 when using the Asus fps limiter. You have to set it to your desired FPS then start the game. Otherwise handheld companion uses RTSS to limit fps
@@WinDeckTech For some reason it still doesn't work for me. Not sure what's going on. Thanks for your help though, Your channel is really helping make the most of my Ally
720p and all settings set to low. The game still freezes for 5-15 seconds while navigating between windows. Also when in a large town, it freezes for 20+ seconds EVERYTIME a window is open. This was never an issue when playing this game on the Steam Deck. Pathetic…🙄 Thank you anyhow for the video. I hope someone got something out of it.
It does you can set it through the AMD control center. You need to also toggle it on before hand, have the resolution set to 720p in game and then 1080p on the ally. Think there is also a setting to change it to allow windowed
@@WinDeckTech u can active it in windowed mode but problem is diablo 4 won't let u change in game resolution. U can check it out by launching the game then go back to amd adrenaline rsr u need to c a tick it lets u check the upscale is active.
@@clkong3427 right whoops, could have sworn you could force it. Thought I had it some way, either through a combo of handheld companion and AMD catalyst. If there was a way to force It through there. I have the xg mobile right now so it breaks that if I have the AMD panel stuff installed. So it's been a while since I've checked through it all
@@WinDeckTech Ya it had never worked on my desktop with Nvidia also cause blizzard though it was cool to put a option there that u can't change for some reason.... 😅

It is very well optimized.
I believe stutters that people experience are from cranking up the texture resolution

How do I lock my refresh rate to 40hz?
You can download Handheld companion, or you can set a frame rate limit in Armoury Crate .
@@WinDeckTech I'll try handheld companion. I can't get the FPS limiter to work correctly for me. Cheers

What are your VRAM settings at? I find best performance around 5gb. Definitely not auto!
Is this on bios 322?
Yup sorry forgot to mention
RSR doesn't work for diablo 4 cause it doesn't run in full screen exclusive mode....
