Just installed mines according to this guide and it's running like a charm. Unfortunately the system is telling me the motherboard doesn't support the lighting features so it's stuck on the custom lighting but I'm loving it. THANKS MAN
I went through today 10 videos to install AIO coolers and your one was the easiest to understand where I was able to understand every single aspect and instructions.
@@NorthernVikingEveryday Looking to get an MSI 4080 super graphics card but there seems to be different models some from same manufacturer from MSI but different prices with one being £100 cheaper than the other. Is there any real difference? Want to get the best model even if its more expensive.

First video that popped up when I was browsing how to install a liquid cooler ahead of time, and I really appreciate how in-depth you went with the install! I've got an MSI Aegis R desktop PC, myself, and I've been gradually upgrading it over the past few months, first upgrading my graphics card and now I'm just waiting for my new CPU (and later on a CoreLiquid cooler) to arrive so I can get this all set! Motherboard is different from yours, but this'll greatly help me in finding the right connection points to power the fans and pump! 😄👍
Used your guide to install this AIO and it was awesome. Very easy to follow and well explained. This was my first AIO install ever and everything went right from the first try
I got this coming on monday, and needed to see it installed as its the first time ill be installing anything on my cpu. definitely eased a little of my anxiety on it lol
Dude, thank you. All the info we need, none that we don’t. This thing just came with so much hardware and the light wires confused the hell out of me. It’s really not too bad, after watching this. Thank you!!
I don't have the 3 pin hub on my motherboard to plug the RGB into. Yours was labeled jrainbow. Do I need to get an adapter or can I just leave that one unplugged?
I have the same problem aswell with my b550 motherboard. I am thinking about buying a new motherboard or extension if possible because my PC looks quite dim.
I have an Aorus B650 motherboard and that motherboard doesn’t have the slots for the 4 screw slots, only those two hooks. I don’t know what to do because when I try to screw it on, it just keeps moving.
Hi, I have one big dumb question. I’m not familiar with this kind of cooler system, but I need to upgrade it, do this needs water? I thought those hose were for that. Are they?
So the pump aka the 3 hole connector that comes from the radiator the large metal slab (the pump is in there in this model) can be connected to any sys fan, cha fan, cpu opt or pump fan. Hopefully all of them result in the pump quietly running at max all the time. The 2 fans can go in the CPU main fan socket they will adjust speed by themselves
I shamefully have to say.. you should of shown us rookies that you have to take the tab off the male connections for the lights 😅 I finally caught on to you saying you have to take the tabs off and I already did it on mine other than that very amazing and helpful video thanks dude!
Hello sir, I try doing the LED thingy but the only one that lights up is the dragon picture one, but the fans only small green and blue light, I don't know what to dooooo :(
I just got this processor and aio. Upon installing my pc ran for about 5 minutes and then got a blue screen of death. Now the cpu debug light and dram debug light are blinking and pc shuts off.
Is there a specific way too mount it not cables up? I heard it causes the radiator too run dry I’ve taken mine out cause that was the case for me but it wouldn’t fit upside down is it safer too run it over the top I had mine at the right side of the mother board in a razor Lian li dynamic
this is the proper way to install, you want that pump as low as possible, so air gets trapped where it is not hurting anything. Jays Two Cents has a video!
I like this but I have an MSI Z790 mobo thats set up a tad different. I have the coreliquid 360R V2 and I'm trying to figure out how or where to connect the fans, pump and noise reducer. I can't seem to find a video to help me out. Any ideas?
Thanks so much for this, I have an ASUS TUF GAMING B550M which has no pump header, only CPU OPT and CPU FAN. Can i just connect pump/fan cable 3pin (runs from the top) to the OPT and the fan 4 pin into the CPU header?
Use sys fan, cha fan or cpu opt fan all the same. For no rbg you can buy a cheap rbg controller little box the rbg plugs into and let's you change it and turn off etc.
Is the daisy chain necessary? My tower came with an ARGB hub that has enough connections for all the fans and block to have a separate connection. I'm a first time builder so I'm assuming I don't need them if I have enough room on the hub so I should keep the caps on male connectors but I thought I'd just ask in case I'm wrong.
Thanks for the information! I already have 13700K and gonna buy this AIO. Can you say what about temperatures? How hot is it and how does this AIO cope with it?
I got an MSI pc case with lights that came with it connected to an RGB control. Do I plug the CPU RGB fans into that or the motherboard like in this video?
I would double check all your connections and that you're using the correct port on the motherboard. Double check that you're using the most recent software. Other than that, does anyone else have ideas of why it's not working? Please comment below.
I know this video is old but I’ve had this aio for about 4 months and recently it’s hit random spikes where the cpu temp would just skyrocket and overheat. I reapplied thermal paste and tried moving cords around but nothing seems to work. Any reason why?
Were you able to use all of your RAM slots after install? im just wondering whether i can just get another 2x8GB sticks or need to buy 16gb sticks, thanks!
I plugged it the same way you did but onced i plugged the wire into the rainbow2 spot it wont turn on it flashes very quickly once then turns off but then once i unplug it, it will power on fine, the rgb works with the block but once i try to plug the rgb for the fans it stops working any ideas?
You don't need pump fan they are usually just CHA or SYS fans renamed. You want the 2 fans on a splitter that makes it 1 connected to the CPU (yes cpu) and you want the pump aka radiator 3 hole connected to cpu opt, cha fan or sys fan. All 3 should be fine just double check your pump aka radiator is running at 4000rpm plus all the time. It's very quiet and you want the pump running at max at all times. are you not concerned with the pump being at the top, or is it something everyones blowing out of proportion?
Basically a year since I've installed it on the top and have had no problems. The MSI instructions show the unit being top mounted.
Followed your guide step by step not missing a beat and now I got no hdmi signal whatsoever
Well your cooler shouldn't have anything to do with your HDMI. I would go back and check all your connections.

Hi, I have one big dumb question. I’m not familiar with this kind of cooler system, but I need to upgrade it, do this needs water? I thought those hose were for that. Are they?
It comes pre-filled with liquid so you don't need to add anything.
