This was a great video!! The quality of your videos are just getting better and better. Especially all the little things you do like putting the overall rank, number of rides and other stuff switching in the corner these are becoming my favourite part of the day. Yes favourite with a U. Kingda Ka's roughness is primarily at the end of the launch track. I believe this is caused by its launch track being so high off the ground compared to Top Thrill Dragster. Kingda Ka's launch track was built with a higher slope, to make the actual climb shorter, and allow trains that rolled back to be reset quicker. However, the launch track has no lateral bracing, and if you look closely in videos, you can see the whole track shake. On Top Thrill Dragster, because the supports are much shorter, they don't bend as much, so the track doesn't shake back and forth, making a smoother ride. I'm surprised that Intamin didn't add lateral bracing to Kingda Ka's launch track when they beefed up the structure to add Zumanjaro.
It's nice to see someone speaking honestly about Cheetah Hunt - I wouldn't have even put it on here :) Really makes me wish I've ridden more of these on this list! I miss your videos so much man! Well done once again!
Thanks for the great and original content. I always enjoy seeing what you come up with next. I rode Superman at SFNE probably 100 times when I lived in MA (2000-2002) and it’s still my 2nd favorite coaster (behind Fury). I am going to visit this year and I’ve heard horror stories about how they “bricked” it which makes me sad but I’m glad I got to experience it when I did. Millennium Force is also underrated. People complain about the lack of airtime but the sustained speed and just the sheer memories of topping 300ft for the first time make it a ride I just can’t help but smiling when I come off of every time. Cedar Point just brings the magic and you can’t explain how or why. They just do.
It’s just ridiculous to me how amazing the quality of your videos are!
Totally agree on Millennium Force, it is just so fun, same thing applies to the B&M gigas, they aren’t the most intense or have the best airtime, flying low to the ground at 90mph is just feels plain awesome.

I'm pretty happy with your placement of my baby, Storm Runner. Hersheypark is my home park and I feel Storm Runner doesn't always get the love it deserves. I am so hopeful they get it fixed and ready for the 2021 season because the day it opens I'll be there and I'm not getting off until they make me!!!

Hagrid's isn't a thrill machine but it's just pure fun and joy. It's the kind of ride you want to ride over and over again. I got two rides on it today and both were as amazing as the first time I rode it a few months ago.
Eh, I consider it as one. Ride is crazy by the end.

Love your videos man. As a 34 year old western PA native who waited ride 4 hours to ride millennium force back in 2000 and 4 1/2 hours to ride Dragster opening year, I am ready to see where you’ve got them ranked...Maverick as well. Props to Intamin for having 3/4 of the best coasters at CP, with RMC going next level with Steel Vengeance. Honorable mentions to Magnum, Raptor, Gatekeeper, Valravn.

I rode Hagrid's in January, it wouldn't crack my top 15 Intamins. I'm very close to 500 credits, and it could easily be VelociCoaster or Iron Gwazi that gets that honor. Not bad for a guy whose 150th credit was Steel Vengeance! El Toro & I-305 would barely crack this list for me. I'm old enough to have ridden Wilderess Run in its' first year when it was called Jr. Gemini. I was your 1000th sub, Chris. You'll be hitting 50k subs soon. Congrats!

Skyrush is my second fav intamin coaster and roller coaster in general. It’s amazing layout with crazy out of your seat airtime is a trip to Hersheypark alone! I will say I haven’t been on an rmc yet but am looking forward to it!
If you can deal with the restraints (which I personally CAN), then Skyrush is amazing. It's so out-of-control !

I haven’t ridden enough to construct a full list, but all the ones I have ridden are at the bottom 😂 I-305/Volcano & the Hershey trio. Should finally be getting to experience the Cedar point ones this summer!!

Great video. I've been on about half of these Intamins and was thrilled to see El Toro at #1 (I'm sure I've mentioned before that it's my all-time favorite).
Other random thoughts:
-I am so pissed I only got to ride Volcano once, after graduating high school in the summer of 1999. The next time I went to KD, it was closed for the day, and now it's gone for good (and I did have plans to go last year, now will be this year). I remember it being incredible.
-I LOVE Storm Runner. SO much fun. Skyrush is a tad overrated, after the first drop, it doesn't do that much (the wing seats are cool though).
- Yes, the New England Superman is BY FAR better than the one at America (haven't been to Darien Lake).
- When I first rode Top Thrill Dragster in the summer of 2004 with my ex who was from Michigan, we went on at night and I was wearing yellow and they had those bright racing lights on the launch and all the mosquitos were out. In the front seat, I ended up swallowing a half-dozen mosquitos and when we went to the bathroom after, there were about 20 dead mosquitos on my shirt that I had killed with my speed. Which is why I was SO glad that they didn't use lights on Kingda Ka!
That's the same thing I have been saying about Velocicoaster. The theming looks incredible but the ride looks very graceful.

Yay I'm so happy ride of steel clones were here. Superman Ride of Steel has the strongest airtime of any coaster I've ridden, and that includes rides like Maverick, Steel Vengeance, and Raging Bull. When that thing heats up in the summer, man it is so intense too
It's an underrated coaster but no.
Ride of steel is really fun a lot of enthusiast don’t like it because of the helix and straight track but it’s still fun to me I ride it every time at six flags derian lake
I’ve only ridden half these but intend to get to cedar point and great adventure this year. I rode hagrids front row motor bike side last week and it’s incredible. It’s doesn’t compare to intimidator or sky rush or any giga but it’s super fun. Theming is incredible and the elements are good.
We are one in the same with our thoughts on I-305. I remember riding it opening season before they reprofiled the turn. The “gray out” was much more intense, and I loved it. The next year when I went back, it just wasn’t the same! I still like it, but intensity isn’t always my favorite.
My first experience with an Intamin was Millennium Force in 2003 and OMG 😳 I was not ready! It’s 2021, and still ranks high on my list. Top Thrill and Maverick are in my all-time top 3.

I genuinely didn’t expect to make I305 my number 2 overall when I visited and didn’t even expect it to be my favorite in the park, but when I hit the brakes and felt like I was thrown through a hurricane there was a genuine fear and adrenaline that 90% if rides don’t offer so that’s why i have it high personally
Obsessed with Cheetah Hunt! Just rode it this past December for the first time ... amazing!
I’ll be in Orlando with my girls the last week of July to try Hagrids and Velocicoaster. Can’t wait

I have never ridden El Toro before but it looks amazing! Maybe for a future video u should see if El Toro would be the best roller coaster in the world if they RMC it or if GCI re-tracked it like Ghost Rider at Knott’s Berry Farm!!!
I'm here to say I fully agree with your review of Skyrush. I finally went to Hershey this summer and was expecting that ride to be my number one, but in no way we're you ever exaggerating about how much that lap bar interferes with the ride.

I-305 has that horrible trim brake that just kills the ride for me.
Great Adventure is a bucket list park for me, and El Toro is no small part of why. I was hoping to finally visit this year, but those plans fell through. Hopefully next year will be it

Glad to see the appreciation for Six Flags New England Superman. Those two clones from the other six flags just seem boring aside from the first drop and a few of the airtime hills. The New England version is truly a beast and the last half of the ride is not nearly as boring as the 2 clones. You can tell Intamin really hit that design out of the park. Six Flags New England got lucky.
Being right between GAD and NE this feels like a direct callout. I’m excited to get on superman next week to see if it lives up. I luckily rode el toro right before it closed so I can get a good new comparison. But very lucky just to have the 2 parks to cycle between.
3. El Toro 2. Skyrush 1. Maverick . Let’s see if Velocicoaster stacks up like we are hoping. Also Pantheon could be the best new coaster this year. I’m just excited for new coasters opening. Also no judgment on your list since we all have our own loves about coasters.
You should do a reaction of the Wired video about Roller Coasters. You can discuss their accuracies and inaccuracies. I felt like it was a wholesome video but there were some interesting content choices.
i think one of the best rides on a small wood coaster is at ceder point ,The blue streak in the front of the park ,This ride never gets old i re-ride this about 40 or more times whenever i visit the park , its got such a great RIDE.

Man, I seriously need to get on more Intamins! The only one I've been on so far is Cheetah Hunt at BGT. However, assuming the borders open and cases aren't too high, I'm hoping to get on those Cedar Point Intamins by the end of summer.
Been riding Pantheon for the past couple weeks in a row from from to back seat and the ride is so enjoyable has some intensity but doesn’t make you gray out at all just rides so smooth Intamin really knocked it out of the park.
Coaster Dash just did "Top 15 Intamin Coasters I've ridden" the very same day you released this! Stealth at Thorpe Park has a faster launch than Xcelerator but I prefer the latter due to a bigger layout, although I do like TTD the best of the Intamin Accelerator models I've ridden. Both of you and Coaster Dash have EL Toro at #1 and I'd agree, even though I'll admit I've not ridden it yet. However: I agree with your countdown more than I agree with Coaster Dash's. I saw his 1st though, but I think your countdown is "more my style" of what I look for in a good roller coaster.
Speaking of which: I've never ridden Intimidator 305 or Skyrush, but I used to think I-305 was better since it was taller, longer and faster, but since then I've reconsidered: Skyrush's drop looks superior to I-305's drop due their respective contours, not to mention Skyrush's layout is more labyrinthian. Having said that. I'm not completely sold on which of those two coasters are better, at least not until I've ridden them, especially considering I've flip floped on which of the two I think is better.
It's natural to create a coaster countdown of a park one's not yet been to, then visit the park and make changes. The two parks I've been to that come to mind the most (re expectations vs experience re roller coaster countdowns) are Cedar Point and Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Thanks for posting, AWESOME VIDEO!
I rode Superman at SFNE with the T bars. It was my number 1 coaster over Millennium Force, Dragster, Ka, El Toro, and others until they were removed which imo killed the ride. I am extremely thankful I had SFNE as my home park back in the day as I was able to get tons of rides on it before the state killed it.
If it makes you feel better, I'm super impressed that Skyrush went from bottom of the barrel to CRACKING YOUR TOP 100! That's such a huge raise! ^^ I need to ride it myself. :)
I also wish I could go back before my beloved Superman got those u-bricks. I actually did get four rides on it back in 2008 when it had the t-bars, but I was 10 years old. Ridden it basically every summer since, and the u bricks crush my soul a little bit more each time they touch my lap

I was always a rollercoaster enthusiast but I just come to realize my first big coaster was Intamins Superman man of steel , now known as “Ride of Steel” I never realized the intricacy in the creation of them until recently , and I it’s hard to pick which one it’s best , I think my favourite coasters are launch coasters and b&m hyper coasters.
I’ve only been able to get two rides on Pantheon so far. Both were on somewhat cold days. The first ride was about 42 degrees and the second was 55 degrees with wind significant enough to delay operations for nearly half an hour. The second ride was way better than the first and in my opinion it is definitely the best ride in the park, however I’m not sure it’s going to fully live up to the hype. While every element is very, very good, no particular moment stood out to me like I want from a truly unforgettable coaster. That being said it is an incredibly fun ride. I have never been the type to hold my hands up on a ride because it always felt a little cheesy to me, but Pantheon very much makes me WANT to throw my hands up at a few moments. I was honestly surprised that it is so outright fun. I am eagerly anticipating some warm weather rides and night rides in the near future that will hopefully propel Pantheon into that elite coaster status for me.

El Toro is still after all these years of riding Kingda Ka, the most intimidating ride for me at Great Adventure. I adore the entirety of it, but I won’t lie and say my palms aren’t sweating like a mofo waiting in line. Probably the only ride that still gives me that feeling.

You're not wrong at all. I think it is intense, but the lack of elements makes it very middle tier. I, too, place it just above Volcano on my list
I would do a top ten on their other rides, as they made Back to the Future, Jaws, E.T. among some other great rides!
They should give Superman the Ride new trains with the types of restraints that can be found in the newer Intamin coasters.
They used to have those restraints but they got switched for idk what reason, maybe an accident or something
They had the T Bars but got switched due to a fatal accident. The ones I say they should get are not the T bars but the types of restraints that newer Intamin coasters have.

@@xcoasterenthusiast oh I understand now, they still probably won’t because they wouldn’t spend the money to change the restraints again. Also they would probably have to do total new trains then. I wouldn’t think that the new restraints would fit on the older trains. remember this picture s Sox flags lol they are cheap
El Toro is one of those very few rides you wonder you haven't dreamt it the whole time. A roller-coaster shouldn't be this good, it almost feels inconceivable. I rode with all the hype in the world and it STILL blew me away.

Problem with Kingda Ka being so rough is how elevated the end of the launch track is in the air with only a vertical support, it should have been A Pillar supports towards the end to re enforce the track and stop it from moving side to side so much.

So what is your thoughts on Intiman now after a 2021 season plagued with injuries & incidents all over. I know they push the boundaries but the coaster record this season speaks for how difficult they are to work with & get parts that are safe for riders and guests.
You should make your top 10 or 15 most ridden coasters.
It would be awesome to see vest restraints with the lap bar portion only touching your thigh slightly and the shoulder belts feel weightless on coasters that actually needs OTSRs.

Personally, I think pantheon has the potential to top my list, if my rides on El Toro this year aren’t very good
For me TTD and Millennium Force were both a bit too high but I agree with most of the list. I'm intrigued to see what you think of Hagrid's...I easily have it as a top 5 Intamin coaster but as you said, it's a complete experience so it's hard to compare with some of these.

I'd heard the many, mixed opinions on Cheetah Hunt. After my first ride, I understood every single one. I personally love the ride, and I think it makes a compelling case for having a category between "family coaster" and "thrill coaster," as I'm not sure that it fits neatly into either of those.
@Diskun Definitely. That's why I like heavily themed family coasters like Slinky Dog at Hollywood studios and some Mine Trains. That said, when it comes to Cheetah Hunt, there is enough thrill that I have a hard time putting it in the same category as an Arrow Mine Train... but neither do I want to call it a full-blown thrill coaster.
