  • It's Week 17 of Sports League and we were given the JPBA trial pattern. Let see if I can hold this high standard and come through. It was probably the most fun I have had in a while. #bowling #bowlingleague #bowler #pba #jpba #strike #subscribe #spare #hammerbowling #hammer #nothinghitslikeahammer #sportsleague #urethane

    You had a great look, that pattern reacts alot like where I bowl! My only Hammer ball is a Legend bought it new a few months back it reacts great off the 5 board! Keep up the work !

      Thanks. That 5 board for the last couple weeks has been my home and I ain’t going to complain cause it probably the best area to play from. I love it swinging it out but the control I can put being on the outside is nice.

    Congrats on the 600+
    I'm still chasing my 1st 600 series. Highest so far is 576 on a challenge pattern. Three months ago, when I started bowling, I had trouble averaging 100, so I'll get there 😃

      That’s still pretty good on a challenge pattern. Couple more strike or spares and you’re over the hump. For three months of bowling that’s great improvement. Keep it up!

    Could you do a video on how to hit spares more accurately. Maybe like where to aim for 10 pins, how to flatten out the hand etc etc.

      Yes. I’m drafting a spare shooting tip video soon and will have it out in a week or two. I have touched on it but will deep dive a bit further.

    Good job playing the pattern & not trying to work on something.

      Past my point of working on things for these harder patterns. In the house shots I might do the challenges. The tougher patterns it might turn into the challenge if the lane allows it. Since there is no miss room compared the house.

      @michaelrhoads6349 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @TillysAdventures Exactly! House patterns gives you the ability to stand & bowl anywhere and practice different things, but a sport pattern has 1 or 2 ways to attack it.

      One other thing too, do you keep a log of the different patterns that you bowl on keeping track of where you're standing & looking for future reference?

      @@michaelrhoads6349 I did have log about 6 months ago and had hand position, start board, arrows, breakpoint with notes on how it was reacting. But I wasn’t able to get all shots in tournaments due to pace but it did help as from watching Darren Tang. It does clear the mind some. But lately if I know the name of the pattern, I look up the TH-cam video I posted😅. A lot of patterns I have no names and just know they are a JPBA pattern. So harder to pinpoint which was for what.
