    If ever I saw a pattern screaming out for the Purple off the twig, it was that one. Hit it with 360 grit, trap it up 4-5-6, slap up the back of the ball and just dial-in that cannon-shot speed of yours until the 2 pin and 10 pin cease to be. There's no way to repeat a swing shot consistently on that stuff when it's fresh. Urethane and surface are your best friends until you start to see some burn in the track. Good effort, though. Wish I could adopt your positive attitude when I"m struggling. Keep on keepin' on, Tilly!

    Been watching your channel for months and this is the best reaction I've seen you have. I think you'll have much more success with your limitless ball speed and wrist action if you stick with high-traction, "blending" balls like the original Mindset. On tough patterns like the ones you bowl on, it'll allow you to stay further right and play up the boards and utiluze your speed and rotation without so much midlane "squirt" and backend "jump".

    Rough outing? Do you have any asymmetrical balls that aren't Blackwidow? There's not a big difference from the 2.0 to 3.0. It's basically the same ball. Did you at least have different surfaces on the Blackwidows? Do you have a plastic ball? I play on the 2023 Cheetah 35 feet this Sunday. I'm going to record it & upload it. @@burntgrass3931 first day in league I didn’t bring my 3.0 but the next day I brought 3.0 and it looked good. And had to ball down to 2.0 to get the cleaner look but feel I should have just stuck with the 3.0. This 2024 pattern with 35 mls of oil was insane. And how different each alley played was insane had room at one alley and none at other.

    I think if you used your own modified 3/6/9 system you’d kill. I think it is just muscle memory solving it if you continue to shoot straight at whatever spare and picking the exact same line every time on each particular spare. Helps mentally and you repeat your swing and release damn near flawlessly as-is. I keep notes and look at them briefly…that would help you imho. You have greatness in you.

    • @TillysAdventures
      @TillysAdventures 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I somewhat have a modified approach to spares; right side of lane stand on 30 throw across 20 for 10pin/across 22 for 3…left side stand on 20 throw 21 for 2pin/ across 23 for 7. It’s simple but my the thing I’m working his should and hips. So lowered my backswing to not lean over and help prevent opening up. And I’m trying to calm the balance leg because it’s throwing my hips open. For when I do curve at pins I adjust like 3/6/9 but my main focus is where it will have its breakpoint. Like if playing 43 ft patter breakpoint 12 and I need to get the 2 w/sleeper. I move my breakpoint to 14 and do 2-3 boards right from strike position. Some concept for other way.

    Do you stay after league is over and bowl more on the pattern to get more work in on that particular pattern? Also on patterns 40+ feet it's good to designate a certain board as being the gutter. Don't go right of that designated gutter board. If would have called Jordan & said coach this is the pattern I'm bowling he would have had a 5 to 15 minute conversation with you about which balls to use, which surface they should be, which parts of the lane you'll want to play & much more. You could have called him while you were bowling too. You didn't teach yourself how to work on jet hydraulic systems for a reason. Same thing applies to being a PBA bowler. Really good game 3, but game 4 your ball started to slide from your urethane dragging oil down lane. Move a board or 2 right when that happens.

    • @TillysAdventures
      @TillysAdventures 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Only at Diamond bowl I do since they stay open a bit. That’s where I get most of my practice unless I want 4 day old lanes. I usually stay for about 3 games more. I do have the “gutter break point” where I don’t get ball out past 10 for example. But I can move it depending how the lane opens up and watching other peoples ball reaction.

      Just got to keep adjusting and not get in your head. The urethane just worked in the 3rd game. 4th game it started to do the normal urethane thing drying fronts and pushing oil into breakpoint. So had some trouble booting my breakpoint as I should have moved out instead of in. But I was really surprised how touchy the pattern was for a house shot.

    IMHO you throw too hard at spares. Your first delivery is nice and smooth, but you ramp it up at spares. That makes you wild. Slow down to first ball speed and just try to kill the shot.

    • @TillysAdventures
      @TillysAdventures 20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yep way too hard I have done some work and called down the speed a bit and little more controlled. I want it back to strike speed but my bad habit is hard to break. Instead of being 23mph now it down to about 19.

      hmmm I think I know what it is and on the next video at this alley. During editing I try to make my voice clearer within the editing app. I tried a different setting and now that you mention it, it does sound fussy compared to older ones. but now that I have other editing software to make the high pitch sounds go away. I can revert to old way or just leave it like the bowling parts, but you would get a bit more background noise.

      Past my point of working on things for these harder patterns. In the house shots I might do the challenges. The tougher patterns it might turn into the challenge if the lane allows it. Since there is no miss room compared the house.

    • @michaelrhoads6349
      @michaelrhoads6349 29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@michaelrhoads6349 I did have log about 6 months ago and had hand position, start board, arrows, breakpoint with notes on how it was reacting. But I wasn’t able to get all shots in tournaments due to pace but it did help as from watching Darren Tang. It does clear the mind some. But lately if I know the name of the pattern, I look up the TH-cam video I posted😅. A lot of patterns I have no names and just know they are a JPBA pattern. So harder to pinpoint which was for what.
