    I still don't like hollow block walls. Looks nice already. Looks like you found a good general and a acceptable work team. BTW nice to be on one floor, as you get older climbing may suck.

    Love that you actually installed roof vents, the attics here are like an oven that trap and radiate the heat into the house. May I suggest a white roof to reflect the suns heat, Filipinos don’t understand nor want to spend the extra money to properly get rid of the heat in a home believe me a white roof has saved me a fortune in my aircon bill.

    Nice progress Kevin. TIP. Be aware with the tiling. If they can they will start tiling its the PH way. They do all diferent thing togehter /Do not let them start tiling before all the elektric is dant after that they must finish all the walls than the windows after that the skimcouting and painting the roof and as last your tiling. If you let them start tiling before other things are done you will get much damage and extra cost on tilles. Let them finish all fistst and than at least the tiling

    Hi Kev and Sella. I have just one word.......WOW!!! They are doing a great job and you guys homes is looking very beautiful, even without the finishes. I am really impressed on how smooth they are making your walls. They are doing a wonderful job. I definitely love the way your electrician ran those electric lines, they are so professional done. Have a happy Holiday season and be safe there. Blessings to you and the family.

    Why the kitchen window doesn’t have the pop out decoration like the other three windows on the front of the house. Also I bought the same uv unit on Amazon have to get three replacements before ordering a better unit it starts leaking after about 30 days of use. I hope you have better luck with yours.

      @@KevinParent248 Pool is almost a must imo, and privacy tinted glass windows to reduce inside heat. Im curious how come you didn't want a 2 floor plan, even though the house is already going to be very big.

      @@nikumimito3164my second house when I was in my mid 20's was a 2 story home. I hated the stairs and the 2nd story was always hotter than the first floor. That was the last 2 story home I owned. Now that I am older, I don't want to climb stairs for sure. Studies show in older people once you fall and break a hip that it is highly likely you have less than a year to live after that happens. Thanks.

    Hi Kev, i know in the Philippines they don’t insulate the same way we do in USA/Canada. Are you putting the radiant heat barrier in the roof. That’s all most homes there use and after watching users test of it i see that it does help allot with blocking the roof panel heat from radiating down onto the ceiling panels

    U did say u want a large generator........how do u mitigate the noise from it? Assume exhaust is external to the building ?

    • @KevinParent248
      @KevinParent248  8 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      Thanks. The gen room is across the car port from the house. The exhaust will be piped out the side of the gen room opposite the house. The doors will also be closed to the car port. The windows will be open and a floor fan run towards the generator. Hoping it won't be too bad with these conditions.

    Looking awesome. A couple of comments, make sure they place sand under the water pipe. The rocks will eventually wear a hole in the pipe as the water flowing through the pipe creates a vibration.
