My definition of 'the province' is being several hours drive/ferry away from any big city things like an international airport and big box stores, so I don't really consider Poroc to be 'the province'.
The people in Porac will disagree with you. I wondered about that when I first arrived but who am I to disagree with their definition . There are farms all around.

This is very good and people can learn alot there is alot property in ph like this landlord well rent for cheap tenant fixing up and option for long lese .good idea
Im trying to understand why this is all about this guy building and renovating at his rental. I thought we were just going to see a cheap rental, not someone who invests thousands into their landlords property
Yes it's a very cheap rental, and even after Santa's improvements, it's still cheap. Santa is a genius! He moved down from the North Pole and found his piece of paradise in a nice neighborhood in the Philippines 🤣 Sharing his strategy is a nice Christmas 🎁 gift... ho ho ho!!

Darrell's channel is fascinating and I would recommend it for good viewership.
Imagine if the Westerners lived in the Philippines, they will fix everything many old houses the roads higways environmental cleanliness and all the place will be organized for sure.😊
I think the owner is going to see how nice the place is after all the renovations and they’ll change their mind about tearing it down. As cheap as his rent is even with all the spending, I wouldn’t even bother taking the stove or anything else with me. I would just walk away. Too bad the lot wasn’t just a little bit bigger. They could build their McMansion and use the remodeled older home as a rental property. They should actually look into another piece of property in that neighborhood if anything becomes available. It would be ashamed to tear all this apart. It’s really comfortable cool little spot he’s created. I love it.
What's keeping the owner from kicking him out when his year lease is up? Then all the work he's done and paid for is wasted. The owner gets it all and the next person they rent to will be paying a lot more.
Amazing we’re paying so much money in the states and it really makes you think about what you’re living for and working for…. Good luck to you it looks great…..

I’m 65 years old and grew up with Santa as part of my Christmas experience. My siblings and I hang socks near the window and our parents filled them with candies.
I haven’t finished the whole video yet so it could be answered later on but does the owner know he’s doing all these renovations?? I get that it’s increasing the value of the house and he’s making it look nicer but if they have a different aesthetic preference, that could be a problem since he’s only renting. I really hope the owners are cool with it as the house looks amazing so far!!
Oh my questions were basically answered, owners don’t care because they’re gonna tear everything down hahaha love that he can do anything to it though! Gives him a sense of purpose!!
During the renovation, he helped employ locals. Great job. I was in and out of the Philippines for 7 years. I eventually married a Filipino. We live in America. I am 78; she is 26.
