I'll one up you - I pack my grocery bags according to categories. One bag for dairy and fridge, one for pantry... Then I unpack them one by one. I love you and everything you do! Thanks for sharing!
This is why I love self checkout and bagging my own groceries. It also helps if you are short on time you know exactly what needs to go in the fridge/freezer and what can wait to be put away. I also make my grocery list by department/aisle.
Appreciate this body double opportunity. I hit a lull in my cleaning and almost fell into a nap. Gonna make a coffee and keep it pushing. A clean and calm Sunday night is worth it 🙏🏽
i believe your pretty little watering can is technically a lota. they’re basically like a little bidet for cleaning up after using the bathroom. not that it can’t be used for plants, i just thought you might be interested in that bit of context
I love horror so here are some recommendations!!! Suspiria (1977) is an italian horror about demonic witches at a ballet academy. SOOO colorful and stylish and amazing soundtrack. Night of the Comet is an early 80's fun, vibey semi-horror about two valley girls that survive the end of the world. If you haven't seen The Fly from the 80's - that one is a sick body horror jeff goldblum fever dream, with a lot of humor. Ginger Snaps from 2000 is teen sisters going through werewolf puberty. Some modern recs would be Talk to Me & Barbarian - both super creative and well-made. Okay thanks!!!
I'm a nail girlie! I do my own at home as a nice, meditative, self care thing lol right now, they're spring green with a daisy on each pointer finger, and you can really tell which is my dominant hand 🌸
I need to do this!! I have accumulated so many clothes from clothing swaps with my friends and I need to go through my whole closet to minimize how many options I have right now. It is TOO MUCH!!!
I wouldn't know where to start with that declutter. I completely understand why you needed to take frequent breaks. Thanks for the motivation, Kathleen!
That happens to me too. I'm so overwhelmed by how much there is. It's hard for me to just focus on one area at a time. I can't just ignore all the other stuff around me. I'm always envious of people who can just hyper focus on one task. I tend to end up fluttering about between different things doing parts of tasks but never really completing one of them.
Hey Kathleen, I was wondering if you will ever be able to do a video of hanging your art up in that long, white hallway I really need some inspiration and I have a lot of art that I have been collecting from Comic conventions and estate, sales and antique stores and all kinds of places, and I really want to kind of get some great ideas from others. I hope this was a great spring cleaning for you cause it’s been fun to watch.
This video is jussssst what I needed. As for unique horror recommendations, they are pretty popular/mainstream, but Get Out & Cabin in the Woods comes to mind as some of my favorite, different horror films
Nail girlie here! There are SO many cute nail artists and designs out there for you to play with! 😍 I'll recommend jawbreaker nails for you, because they're totally DIY-able and I'm definitely doing it next!
as per usual, I loved this. As someone with a lot of errands and decluttering to do, there's something kind of therapeutic about watching someone else do the same. Movie wise, my boyfriend's favourite film is The Thing and I remember sitting down to a watch it (as someone who is not great at horror movies) thinking, "right, I gotta watch this for him" and being absolutely terrified. I can suuuuper recommend It Follows. It has a little bit of gore but that's not the focus, it's utterly terrifying, the soundtrack is excellent, it's stylish and there really isn't anything quite like it.
I recently watched House (1975) for the first time and i loved it so much❤ it is technically a horror film but .. well.. its a trancendent experience mostly 🙀🎹
I agree with your thoughts on Immaculate! I felt like everyone else really liked it haha For a different horror movie I just watched Exhuma at the theater! It’s a subtitled supernatural horror movie from South Korea and it was different and I liked it so very much. The world building and story was amazing, highly recommend!
I am in desperate need of a good decluttering ... I like to do what I calll the wagon method... I have one of those folding wagons ... We use it mostly for bringing in our groceries and I use it to declutter one room at a time ... Everything that doesn't belong in the room gets put into the wagon so my results are rather quick which helps my 🧠 brain feel like I am accomplishing something ... The next day I go through the wagon and get rid of what I don't need and put the rest where it belongs ... Lol 🤭 Also I saw the T-shirts ... hopefully, you'll be sending me one soon since you said I'd be getting one back when you made the video for that project ... Love you stinky, see you next time!
Fun video! I really enjoyed Late Night with the Devil as well. I think it's difficult to make decent horror. Possession movies- even moreso. But, I think they did a nice job switching it up. For horror, a couple that are a bit different and that I enjoyed: Creep (2014) and The Invitation (2015).
4:36 I'm so glad you though better of squishing such a good boys' head and gave him pets instead. You do know the content we're after. 💖 Immaculate vibes as always thank you for sharing your decluttering journey with us.
I need to peel myself from the couch and declutter also, my daughters prom is Friday and I think her friends are coming here for pictures beforehand. My strategy for getting started on a room is to just pick up the first thing I grab and just try to put it away. If it is overwhelming I also will sort them into groups because it makes it less overwhelming. I have really been enjoying your channel, I discovered your content a couple of weeks ago. As an avid thrifter myself I got to thinking how some of my favorite pieces of clothing/accessories have been from thrift shops. Which inspired me to go on a thrift shop tour in my area and get more stuff last weekend, though I was proud to exercise some restraint 😂 Thanks for making awesome videos, hope you have a great week ❤️
If I need to organize a mess, I call my sister usually in a slight to high panic! She helps me know where to start and talks me through it!!! Your orange pant set it fabulous !!!
I love both of the book series you mentioned! I feel like you'd enjoy "A Psalm for the Wild Built" (or anything by Becky Chambers tbh) Love you, byeeeee
The Thing is one of my favourite movies of all time, I'm so glad you liked it! If you like suspense thriller with very little on screen violence/gore, I'd definitely recommend The Invitation (2015). Its another one I really liked.
I really need to organize too! Especially my closet, but the weather is still changing every day from warm to chilly and vice versa, so I'm waiting with that until May.
omg magic timing, i was just sorting through my neglected "donate? or something??" piles this morning! and ended up pulling two pairs of pants to impulsively cut into shorts lol
Hey friend, looks like you got some humanness going on. Sending hugs n grace. I try to do little bits often, but mostly we’re all out here doing our bestest. ❤
such a good video! for original horror movies that use different tropes and atmospheres I would really recommend beau is afraid and generally anything by Ari Aster, (but beau is afraid is criminally underrated compared to midsommar or hereditary)
Ohhh... wow. Is that cinder block wall in the amazing floating staircase? And does your office have a half wall overlooking it?? Wow. What a cool crazy MCM house. I’d love to see more
I saw Barbarian recently and it was truly incredible! probably one of the scariest and most interesting horror movies I've ever seen. I definitely recommend going in as blind as possible, like don't even watch the trailer. the horror isn't reliant on shock value, but it's got a lot of continuous reveals that I think are so much better if you're not waiting for or expecting them, and like, jarring tonal changes that are just so interesting and well done!!
Kathleen, you inspire me with your decluttering!! Also, I'd love to recommend my absolute favourite Audiobook series of all time... Dungeon Crawler Carl by Matt Dinniman (narrated by Jeff Hays). It's hilarious and exciting and packed full of twists and turns, it's a litRPG but not super "stat heavy" like I've heard some others are. Anyway it's amazing!!
Thank you. Love this 🌸 Nail Girly here! It's crazy, I just started caring about my nails this winter. I love clear basic manicure! Love black polish on you🐦⬛🖤🌹
We have just done the office and the utility and man it was overwhelming but still so refreshing at the same time. I have to do the bedroom now. Moving on this will give me inspiration I hope!!
Love that you're discussing horror movies while picking flowers (it's a vibe I live often also as a woman of contrasts) Some horror recommendations for you: 1. Mandy (2018) It's got Nicolas Cage in it and the art direction is so unique and beautiful (and the soundtrack is a really cool blend of synthesizers and orchestra), and it's really like nothing else as far as design is concerned in the horror world. There is gore, but it's not bad in the scale of horror movie gore and it mostly centers around revenge. 2. Christine (1983) - Another John Carpenter horror movie classic! (since you said you liked The Thing) It's based on the Stephen King novel of the same name, and it's about a young man who buys an old used car that seems to have a mind of it's own. I always think about this movie when I go thrifting... (lol!) 3. It Follows (2014) - Again, another horror movie with an excellent soundtrack and a unique approach to the "monster chasing you" concept, lots of playing with genre tropes and it does well for not having a single concept of what "it" exactly is. Also the costuming and set dressing is a really fascinating blend of a little bit of everything from every decade, so it feels universal, yet removed from anywhere in particular.
SO excited to see your thrifted/diy lighting adventure!! The day I found out you can just buy lamp kits at hardware stores and turn anything into a lamp changed me
watching this video rn bc i can’t sleep and it’s a very chill vibe and exactly what i needed! the way i clean that helps me be most productive is by “dividing” my room in 4ths and tackling one section at a time! it makes the cleaning and organizing feel much more manageable for me
Awesome video, honestly, these “real life” “daily task” kinds of videos are handy for when you need a body double to be productive :) Was stain treating some handwashing while watching this, thanks for helping do laundry!🎉
Love to see a sec littering vid. Your closet decluttering vid was the first one I ever watched so a move throw back. Horror can be a fun genre to dip your toe in. There are so many kinds. I recommend Dead Stream. Kind of an Evil Dead vibe. It’s silly and scary but entertaining to watch. Happy spring! ✨ 💐
When I feel really overwhelmed by stuff everywhere I just have to start on one side of the room (house) and work my way across. Maybe involves less decision-making? Love me some piles tho :)

I also do this XD
Same
This is why I love self checkout and bagging my own groceries. It also helps if you are short on time you know exactly what needs to go in the fridge/freezer and what can wait to be put away. I also make my grocery list by department/aisle.
Also recommendation: Attack all those small valuables together on one keychain, and attach an airtag to it. Life saver.
You know you’re a die hard when you remember Kathleen thrifting each of her vases.
hehe you a real one!!!

LOL it’s a can of all trades! Thank you!
As soon as I saw it I searched the comments 😂 why not be multi-functional!? I use an actual watering can (shaped like an elephant) soo 💚💚
@dawnelfiiya I went to look in the comments too! 😂😂😂 my friend used to used a Dora the Explorer watering can for theirs.
wake up babe, new kathleen illustrated video just dropped
