    Anyway, thanks to owner for allowing the visit ! 👍🏼

    Perspective plays a role here. At nearly "five mill" it would appear to be another clever, expensive yacht. But by comparison €4.7 million is a fair price for a yacht in this size and class. And if you account for a clever layout, contemporary furnishings and bountiful spaces inside and out, this yacht becomes a bargain. What a gorgeous bit of kit. I'm smitten and when the brass ring comes my way THIS yacht will be found near the top of my must have dreams come true. Thanks to everyone involved with this lovely floating art.

    I like the idea of the bow being more of a private terrace forward, to give the aft cockpit and beach club the volume it has.

      You said it!! Same goes for the entrance to the engine room! I couldn't imagine anyone wanting to crew this yacht; awful entrance and a mattress on top of the washing machine. Also, the layout/floor plan of the lower deck looks like a jigsaw puzzle piece!!! For the size of the yacht they could have come up with a better layout to utilize the spaces.

    • @flacjacket
      @flacjacket ปีที่แล้ว +29

      At this size range it is more common for the vessel to be owner operated than crewed. The crew cabin is generally expected to be used by an occasional skipper, not lived in long term.

    These snub noses should be the future of yacht design! Love, love, love the way it gives more interior space and beam without too much length too.
    If my memory serves, only 3 other makers have kinda dared to do something like this: Princess (X-Series), Arcadia and Cetera Yachts. But Extra have really made this kind of style (especially the aft section) their own.

    Beautiful Yacht. Very much an owners boat as well I'd say. I like the way it's set up. It makes the most of the space available, without wasting open space outside for nothing. Makes more use for living space. The guest accommodations are fabulous as well.

  • @pageant1fd
    @pageant1fd ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I’m becoming quite aggrieved by the attitude of owners and indeed yacht designers that so many vessels these days pay such little respect to crew accommodation. Even engine room accessibility is compromised with fancy toy garages etc. I think it’s a reflection of how many yacht owners really respect and value those that pander and serve to their selfish lifestyles. Fridges, freezers ,ice makers and toy space are their concern by the seems of it. Makes me think a pint in a pub with a kayak owner would be more entertaining than 90% of super yacht owners. Great presentation as always Nick . Thank you.

    If owner operated, I have no problem with the access to crew quarters, occasional overflow and storage it would be ok. Horrible access to do your laundry, though. I very much like the guest cabins. Outside spaces are really nice, I think, for parts of the world that may not spend great amounts of usable boat time really hot/humid or chilly. That, of course, describes Florida and Southern California. Thanks, Nick, for another very nice boat and tour.

    As Nick has told many times before, up-to 80 ft. boats are usually owner operated with occasional crew members. Very spacious crew cabins would be counter productive on a sub 80 footer with occasional crew presence.

    Pretty sure the “tabernaki” grill is supposed to be “teppanyaki” grill. These are the grills at Japanese restaurants that people sit around and watch the chef do knife tricks and flip shrimp into peoples’ mouths. In Japanese: “鉄板焼き” - The word teppanyaki is derived from teppan (鉄板), the metal plate on which it is cooked, and yaki (焼き), which means grilled, broiled, or pan-fried.
    Cheers from Tokyo!

    Cracking tour as always Nick 🥳
    I love the quirky bluff nose, the forward stance - gives the boat a pseudo serious work face…..
    However, the interior underwhelmed me I’m afraid….. the helm was great, the crew space was adequate at best, but the access was tricky and frugal…….. as was the access to the engine room 🙁
    I found the cabins gloomy and although the aft space was epic, it didn’t link at all with the galley, being almost full beam.
    As I say, I like the look and feel of the boat….. but not the fit out of the interior.

    Hey Nick I really like the rounded front on this yacht and I thought it was going to be the owners cabin giving a wider berth and the interior finishes are very smart like hidden handles on wardrobes and solar panels in the saloon all brilliant, have a great day bud 👍

    Must be ashamed of the crew, they hide them behind a cupboard 🤣. It's nice but there are much better laid out ones that you have shown us . Thanks for another tour.

    I’m surprised more boats don’t have solar panels. Makes perfect sense

    Nice colour scheme in some spots but i felt it was a bit pokey and enough for two people - probably for hire this will get a yield but if this was purely for the owners usage - i would want a bit more attention to the layout and that cinema lounge room felt to close to the driver captain driving the thing.
    Also, for around £5 million i would expect a tremendous spa room and i suppose bespoke staff and maybe a small fashion catwalk if i was an owner of a bikini or lingerie entity - which i would be.
    A bespoke adults velvet room with various interiors for relaxation would be fine and the crew can use bunk beds on the roof terrace thing.
    Thank you for the video.
    The fold up draw thing was smart and i admired that it catered for 3 or 4 crew - but overall i give this yaught 4 out of ten.

    So one would need as staff a couple of squirrels or something similar. Raccoons maybe.

    Nick, I'm a big fan of the Aquaholics channel but I have to agree with the other comment about frame rate and panning speed - the image on my 27" 5K monitor can be quite jarring unless the panning speed is slowed right down. Not too bad on this particular review but it's been very noticeable on some others. As for the X76, the crew quarters are really pokey and the ladder means anyone using it will be one slip away from a broken ankle. Looks like I'll have to keep the €4.7M in the bank for now.

    smashing boat, always wondered when watching your channel, where do potential owners get a Captain if they are not capable to master themselves, is there a standard resource with the requirements catered for?

    Love the 70s decor 😍 at 45 years old it gives me nostelgia from being a kid lol from watching tv shows in the 70s and early 80s 👌 shame about the crew quarters though
