A visit that required some alpinisme skills… beautiful boat, spaces and room. Downside is definitely the access to the crew area. Anyway, thanks to owner for allowing the visit ! 👍🏼
Perspective plays a role here. At nearly "five mill" it would appear to be another clever, expensive yacht. But by comparison €4.7 million is a fair price for a yacht in this size and class. And if you account for a clever layout, contemporary furnishings and bountiful spaces inside and out, this yacht becomes a bargain. What a gorgeous bit of kit. I'm smitten and when the brass ring comes my way THIS yacht will be found near the top of my must have dreams come true. Thanks to everyone involved with this lovely floating art.
You said it!! Same goes for the entrance to the engine room! I couldn't imagine anyone wanting to crew this yacht; awful entrance and a mattress on top of the washing machine. Also, the layout/floor plan of the lower deck looks like a jigsaw puzzle piece!!! For the size of the yacht they could have come up with a better layout to utilize the spaces.
I was thinking the very same. I referred to this yacht as a ‘selfish man’s’ yacht. I’d want to look after my crew and not keep them crammed in like sardines.
At this size range it is more common for the vessel to be owner operated than crewed. The crew cabin is generally expected to be used by an occasional skipper, not lived in long term.
Certainly very modern! Very interesting layout the likes of which I have never seen. I think I am a fan, as I always am, I love seeing different interpretations of what a yacht can be. Brilliant tour thanks Nick!
11:37 - Boat tours are great and all but, if we're honest, this is the moment we're always waiting for!! The cabins on this are weird... The overall atmosphere is very appealing, yet it also feels like a set of corporate meeting rooms... I'm not sure if I actually like it or not.
It’s a lovely yacht for the owner/guests that is well equipped and at a fair price but getting to and from the crew quarters looks potentially treacherous!
These snub noses should be the future of yacht design! Love, love, love the way it gives more interior space and beam without too much length too. If my memory serves, only 3 other makers have kinda dared to do something like this: Princess (X-Series), Arcadia and Cetera Yachts. But Extra have really made this kind of style (especially the aft section) their own. Many thanks to the owner for welcoming Nick (and, by extension, us) onboard! Loved the tour!
They're great princess x95 has a wave peicer on the bow which increases her efficiency and horizon fd series all have the wave peicer that increases the efficiency. So much more room on board
Beautiful Yacht. Very much an owners boat as well I'd say. I like the way it's set up. It makes the most of the space available, without wasting open space outside for nothing. Makes more use for living space. The guest accommodations are fabulous as well.
I’m becoming quite aggrieved by the attitude of owners and indeed yacht designers that so many vessels these days pay such little respect to crew accommodation. Even engine room accessibility is compromised with fancy toy garages etc. I think it’s a reflection of how many yacht owners really respect and value those that pander and serve to their selfish lifestyles. Fridges, freezers ,ice makers and toy space are their concern by the seems of it. Makes me think a pint in a pub with a kayak owner would be more entertaining than 90% of super yacht owners. Great presentation as always Nick . Thank you.
Hi Nick, And thank you for this nice show of this Extra Yachts X76 Loft with that trawler style nose on the bow looks nice but really great is that solar field on the roof i like that sleeps 8 all with there own head with the master, double suite and 2 twin rooms great Thanks again Nick that is a nice show ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Lovely tour and lovely yacht. The crew quarters are pitiful considering the abundance of space elsewhere. They're more like a cupboard in a whole in the floor.
Has a ton of space for a 76 footer which usually have to get to 100 foot to realize. Only real downside I see is the small galley which has very little countertop room plate or prepare food for 8 guests.
A very nice yacht, love the colours and finishes, a different layout to the norm but I like it, nice engine room as well. Nice to see a yacht with a hull colour different to plain white. Great tour as always Nick thank you.
If owner operated, I have no problem with the access to crew quarters, occasional overflow and storage it would be ok. Horrible access to do your laundry, though. I very much like the guest cabins. Outside spaces are really nice, I think, for parts of the world that may not spend great amounts of usable boat time really hot/humid or chilly. That, of course, describes Florida and Southern California. Thanks, Nick, for another very nice boat and tour.
I saw Cisk in that Fridge 😀😀, that`s my favourite Lager ,😀😀the owner must have Maltese connections cause that`s a Maltese Lager😀😀Awesome Yacht and tour as always.
8:58 “We would know how much the ceramic weighs, but we’d have to wait until we’d had it weighed to know the actual weight!” (Incidentally, this is a beautiful boat! As always, great tour, Nick!)
As ever, Nice Nick. As Nick has told many times before, up-to 80 ft. boats are usually owner operated with occasional crew members. Very spacious crew cabins would be counter productive on a sub 80 footer with occasional crew presence.
I'm gonna say that this is 'Astounding' and 'Beautifully Intriguing'. The only thing that I will disagree with you is... I don't much care for the color scheme in the suites. But as you did mention, it is owner specification. Another Extremely Well Done tour by Nick and the ever so Famous Aquaholic.
Not sure what to make of this one at first sight but by the end of the video found myself really impressed. Like the solar power provision and interior design especially. Nice tour as always.
Thanks for the tour, sir. Always a pleasure to open TH-cam and find a new video from you. Nice looking yacht, but unfortunately the layout doesn't really impress me. But reading through some of the comments, there are people that don't like it and others that do. Different strokes for different folks, as they say. Still a fabulous boat, but not my cup of tea. Says the man who can't even afford one of the seat cushions 😁.
Love a Teppanyaki bar..... well...... love any sort of bar really....Fabbo interiors on this one Nick! Gorgeous saloon..... and that rear lounging area.... wow. Thanks for a great tour of a most interesting yacht. :)
The off-white, orange and dark brown color scheme in the cabins gives them a 70s sci-fi look. Early Star Wars (with the style revived in the recent Andor). Or just late 70s in general. Those colors were in vogue about then.
@@AQUAHOLIC Look forward too it Nick. Hope that oil filled electric heater and dehumidifier did their job in the cold spell? An interesting and different subject for a future video maybe. Regards

No more dangerous than most ladders to engine rooms. For a 76 footer the crew space is decent mostly because a long staircase into it isn't taking up much room.
@@tecwzrd Try taking a look at Nordhaven's for the same price, much better equipped, far more comfortable and dream engine rooms, and crew facilities are much better if needed..
Yeah, they should've designed it so that engine room and crew areas shared a proper staircase. The space taken up by the two shafts is easily enough for one staircase. Then a door forward into crew areas and one aft into the engine room.

Nick, I'm a big fan of the Aquaholics channel but I have to agree with the other comment about frame rate and panning speed - the image on my 27" 5K monitor can be quite jarring unless the panning speed is slowed right down. Not too bad on this particular review but it's been very noticeable on some others. As for the X76, the crew quarters are really pokey and the ladder means anyone using it will be one slip away from a broken ankle. Looks like I'll have to keep the €4.7M in the bank for now.

What I love about these videos are all the hidden accesses to the crew quarters. Some really inventive architecture.
Nick just cracking open the owners cabin "toy cupboard" and moving on seamlessly... a true pro 👏🏼
What? I saw slippers and some fabric of some sort
Great for owner/operator, crew not so much. The colors are beautiful and love how open the main deck floorpan is.
