When I arrived on board the X-TREME 105 "Lady Fleur" I had no idea what was in store for me. Not only was the yacht extraordinary, but the three friends who formed the company were pretty amazing too.
These are people who have no fear of doing things their own way...and in this case it looks very much to me like they have done things the RIGHT way!
At las- a yacht builder that treats the crew with respect. No coffin-like crew quarters in this beauty. Top marks for that alone. It's great to see a company or the owners genuinely thinking outside of the box.
Crew accommodation is per classification rules and merchant shipping regulations just like all other yachts in this class. Those poky little caves masquerading as crew quarters are only found on boats under 24 metres LWL, because the regulations do not apply to small yachts. Over 24 metres LWL and crew cabins are all the same minimum size.

Agreed!!!!! A crew should also be comfortable.
Not totally correct. He said that since the owners (aka builders) are 'hands on operators', they chose to make 4 cabins for guests so those rooms were built for guest comfort, not crew. Others have pointed out the legality of crew rest sizing also.
Hats off to these three guys because they have just set a whole new standard to yachting.

@@maxnex7676 I saw someone do that on a Nordhavn for a crossing, but what an inconvenient hassle. Especially when your competition is Bering, which can accomplish 5000nm without breaking a sweat.
these kind of yacht use a carrier ship for transatlantic crossings
@@maxnex7676 I know, i'm one of them. But to be honest I will only do that once or twice. Will I then be not better of to charter something like a Nordhavn for that? And for the Med and the caribbean use something more luxurious as my own ship
@@stevensims8922 I’ll take that risk for the innovation this yacht offers. Course and trip planning is everything. For Mediterranean coast and island hopping, this thing is perfect.

Hi David. 5 ensuite cabins, 4 crew berths, inside garage for toys, exterior drive in space for larger tender converts to a pool. The design, exterior lines and a perfick layout. Redundancy for safety, solo to catamaran hull. I can easily see why you was excited to show us this. Awesome walkthrough tour thanks 😊

Absolutely stunning.
This is the most brilliant yacht I have seen in a long time.
Also the tender system has an added bonus, if you got an injury, dissabillity or is elderly, you can choose the optimal hight to get in ad.
As an amputee and veteran, I can realy appreciate the design of the tender launch and recovery. I agree that for a disabled person this design can be of great benifit when get on or off the main tender
My Dutch pride is tickled again. She looks absolutely stunning, love the colour scheme, the interior design and the layout en, especially the aft section. The multifunction rear end is just spectacular.
You should be proud, you guys have centuries long history of shipbuilding. And these three guys have just moved the game on.
Wow . . . what a vessel. I was so impressed with the interior layout but then that stern! How innovative. There's nothing "not to like" about this beauty. Kudos to the builders.

I've watched David present a lot of yachts and whilst always entertained, I've never been as impressed by the vessel as I was whilst watching this one. Some very sensible, practical thinking, a fabulous, roomy layout, all wrapped up in a very, very beautiful package. Fab.
I pretty much agree with every piece of layout of this yacht. This looks really thought-through, and not just something mass-produced.

Nice example of the new yacht without looking like a pagoda. So many of the new yachts like this look so tall giving the appearance of a very high center of gravity. This 105 is visually stable.

Id like to see what they can do in relation to a building an explorer superyacht.
I must say that I have been enjoying your videos tremendously, Sir. Your production standards are only exceeded by your expertise and enthusiasm. Lady Fleur is a unique rule-breaking yacht that you have so expertly presented for our edification. These three clever fellows have created a yacht that is a true marvel. I can't wait to see what more they have in store for us!

I absolutely love this boat. The way they did the rally and living room with a breakfast nook in the corner is so awesome.
Can you imagine how much you'd be able to learn from these 3 guys if you were lucky enough to have the opportunity to intern or apprentice in some way at their company? I would love to be involved in the creative and technical side of the whole process somehow. Finding solutions to issues that have plagued the process for manufacturers and owners alike. Plus the interior and exterior design language is so similar to my own tastes currently, that it feels like I should work for them.

Now that's innovative! I hope that they have a large shipyard, as I imagine they are going to be attracting a lot of interest in a very short amount of time.
I wanted a longer video. I thought we were getting a grandiose video highlighting the innovations. This was too short. Give us more David. More more more! Lol. Great video sir. What sizes are the others? A 38-46M would be excellent as would an 88'.
Innovative and incredible yacht! So many things that I've never seen on a yacht before. Companies like this are one of the few things that still makes me proud of my country despite its declining state as it is now.

Love the clever use of space and features packed into 105'. This is really well thought out design. I think these gentlemen really captured their visions perfectly.
I'd say, this and Benetti B.YOND are the best samples of how creativity changes the rules! Best yachts in their category (around 100ft more or less) hands down. Thanks David!
Shape size layout materials and colours inside and out are absolute perfection, literally one of a very few yachts i would own 👌🏻👍🏻
Bravo Zulu! This is amazing and epitomizes the rule "Two is one and one is none" when it comes to ship's systems. The battery pack for the hotel load is something that just "makes sense"...A friend just built a new home and that's exactly how the power feed works; everything (external feed, solar, and emergency generator when activated) feed into a large battery bank that on its own is capable of providing 100% of the home's energy needs for 8 hours.
I had the privilege to visit this yacht on site when she was in the last stage of detailing before final delivery.
Very nice build. Beautiful design and a lot of space. Would be nice to build them also in full aluminium.

Yes, that is superb. What a debut!
Nice ship! It's big but doesn't seem overwhelmingly large. The interior aesthetic is welcoming and not overly extravagant. I like the open concept kitchen for entertaining purposes, makes the vibe of the vacation more inviting and social like being at home. That sinking floor for the tender is seriously innovative and probably a very expensive piece of machinery but for someone with a need for utilizing their tender depending on where they travel in the world- they'd probably be able to justify this purchase. Overall a nice piece of work that would be suitable for a family that enjoys island hopping and visiting many ocean-side towns.
Best boat I’ve seen over the last five years. Hopefully these three guys can innovate in the 50-65ft space, the size that works for me here in Sydney. I’ll keep an eye out 😀

Though I hate the expression - Checks all the boxes - ,this yacht actually does just that. Main deck salon galley as the focal point of the salon, generous and well-finished crew quarters, and the chase boat cradle/swimming pool are the rare big 3 that make this the perfect yacht.
