    I think due to the success of sunseeker , princess and fairline , pearl yachts do not get the justice or the media coverage they deserve. They are like the little brother of British yacht builders that no one talks about . Their 95 yacht was up there with the best in class and now this beauty . Great video of a great boat . Thanks Nick for bringing this to us .

    Great tour.Not my cup of tea for the kitchen with the fridge across the room,but the stateroom settings are brilliant.They look better laid out than a couple 75 and 80 footers we won't name.Even some of the larger ships could use their designer.I don't think I've seen a 75 foot ship with a garage that allowed you to access the engine so well either.

    One thing I've always wondered, as a non-boater, is how much you can hear other people on the boat. That is, if I'm down in my cabin trying to find some peace and quiet, how likely am I to hear someone walking around above me in the main deck lounge? I imagine the nicer the boat the more sound-proofing you get, but what is the general expectation regarding that?

  • @SteffiLewis
    @SteffiLewis ปีที่แล้ว +9

    That's a really pretty boat. Love the layout and interior design. That engine room would feel a little claustrophobic with the tender garage intruding on it like that, but if I had the money to afford one of these, I'd pay someone else to look after the mechanics so wouldn't have to look at it. Would definitely have this on my list :)

  • @KendalMike

    For a 70ft boat, I didn't expect to see four such amazing cabins. I assumed there would be no crew cabin but there was, and not only that, it had access from a proper door which also takes you to the engine room. Amazing. Good value for money.

  • @constantineding8700
    @constantineding8700 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Is that really a 72-feet boat?? It feels a lot bigger, at least as big as a 76-footer.
    The volume is already astonishingly big without the crew cabin. That's why it literally rendered me jaw-dropping when Nick stepped down to the crew cabin with a separate-showered head.

    Hi Nick always love your videos etc... but find it hard to see why some boats are worth so much more money than others? So how do you compare this one at £2.5 million ($3.1 million dollars approx) the Pearl 72 TO $2.3 Million Yacht Tour : 2022 Bronson 50 th-cam.com/video/Epgj7Tp4Zqw/w-d-xo.html this one at $2.3 million dollars (£1.8 million pounds) as there is such a big difference between these two boats? In hotter climates, eg Northern Australia, the amount of heat and glare from the sun would make the lower helm unbearable to use. Why are most boats right hand drive? Is it a holdover from when boats didn't have a central rudder, but instead had a 'steering board' for use by a right handed person hanging out over the 'starboard' side? Which is where that name came from of course. With 'port side' being where the boat moored to avoid smashing that 'steering board' hanging out on the 'starboard' side.

    See the trick is to buy the smaller engine option and the reason for that is you'll be doing more 6 to 12 not cruising then you are burying the throttles into the dashboarding going wide open when the untaxed diesel in the United States right now goes for $5 a gallon and I think the tax stuff goes for like six to seven maybe eight a gallon so you want to take it easy on the throttles. For a frame of reference for our Europeans red diesel or untaxed diesel usually goes for about a dollar a gallon so that $5 is a five fold increase

    Ive always thought the sun seeker 76 was one of the best. The new Pearl 72 is my new favourite, I’ll have to start doing the lottery again

    Great layout and accommodation, albeit in that finish a bit dark for my personal preference (but there are other choices as you mentioned).
    On the lottery win shortlist!

    An amazing yacht with incredible quality and packaging. It seems to be a much larger vessel. Pearl are very underrated and are up there with the other British brands. Great video as always Nick. It’s a tough job but someone has to do it. 😉

    If you're in Fort Lauderdale Florida it's got to be extremely humid I was wondering is it that humid in England

    Id def swap sunbed out for hot tub. You probably could squeeze another cabin in by tweaking the layout. Pretty awesome

    I washer Vlogs all the time, and this is the first time I seen you missed something! On the pearl 72 you didn’t point out the TV in the first master in the ball!

    Just for a brief minute when before you open the refridge I thought that was the day heads up there and that little space but it's downstairs but I like the way that boat is laid out cuz you got a separate dining area a kitchen and a living room that are not multi-use other words you're not supposed to use the living room as a dining room

  • @andrewfoster5267
    @andrewfoster5267 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The. First master cabin you would of been short changed as you have a pentacle shower enclosure which is bit of cop out when all the showers are square or rectangular shower trays. Plus the first cabin there is no tv .

    would be very interesting to see a comparison between this and the Princes 72, which is more than double the price.. From what i see the Finishes on a Princes are definitely from a slightly higher standard and also the wobbly ness of that side acces door wouldn't exist on a Princes. But is it worth such a huge price difference?

      Sunseeker and Princess are certainly another class of quality. But believe me, these Pearls are very, very close. And I would imagine that buying a Princess is more a status symbol than anything else. Also, I thought the same thing about the crew cabin door but honestly, youre never opening that if this is your boat! 😂

    427,000 subscribers Nick you’re killing it!! Saw a vid last night where you hit 10,000. Such growth and so well deserved!
    PS - that is the smartest boat I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen a lot! As you say over there 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 BRILLIANT!! 👏
    Cheers from the high mountains of Colorado, USA 👍🏻

    Something you never disclose, is what sort of size inverter is on a boat like that?

  • @coryjay16

    Very impressive for its size. Separate shower and toilet too! Don’t see that on many boats like that I don’t think

    That boat looks like it was geared for the American market open the large helm station on the fly bridge and the gray tones instead of the wood tones in the interior would appeal to more of an American market than European

    Love your videos. Can you show under the bed on a brand new boat not owned by anyone so no personal stuff inside? Thanks.
