I really enjoyed this episode fellas. I took a moment to listen not only to Serpentwithfeet, i also listened to Willow’s current album, and i have to say it was giving me a Joanie Mitchell vibe, and i dug it. I’am gonna pop it on later to just vibe with it to see if i have the same reaction. Go head Girl!
Wholly agree with you guys on the Stan Wars. The music gets lost in the horse race, kinda like decency in politics is a victim of partisanship. Great discussion about queer music and artists.
Are any of you aware of any albums recorded by gay men that consist solely of covers of songs originally recorded by women that were specifically about relationships with men?
@@marcusjenkins5371 Luther Vandross released an album of all covers in the 1990s titled 'Songs'. Some of the songs were originally recorded by women, which was risky for a very popular DL Black recording artist. The only one specifically about a relationship with a man was the cover of Whitney Houston's 'All the Man That I Need'. He changed the title and the lyric to 'All the Woman I Need'.

my album ‘no hesitation’ is the perfect gay bedroom playlist. straight outta brooklyn :) loved ‘grip’ as well + the visuals accompanied with it!
That's a cute title!
When it’s about to go down in the bedroom, I tune in Pandora with my playlist “Beats Between the Sheets”
Yessss love that title!
