I did a comparison for this handheld and a real PSP for Project Diva on my channel to show you the difference. It's kinda playable, but it's different from a real PSP. With that said, the RG351P is my main retro handheld right now. Love it. Nice review btw. I subscribed.

PPSSPP (the emulator that tokaku is using here) actually has this feature built-in, it can be found in Settings>Graphics>Performance>'Render duplicate frames to 60 Hz'
Played PPSSPP on my current, really low end phone for today's standards (3gb ram, I think it has like 1.8ghz cpu idk) and I can run God of War on like 20-50 fps which is pretty good for a crappy phone Sooooo yeahhhh can confirm how good it runs on low end systems
Mine came in yesterday, took a bit of setup and digging because I'm new to emulating a lot of these systems but it works really well! There are some super detailed guides out there that helped a lot too, thanks for showing this off
It's a bit late, but the first parts of the Parappa (Parappa the rapper and Um Jammer Lammy) are really not optimized, because 1 playstation little opportunity, and this was the beginning. In the second part(Parappa the Rapper 2) WAS THE BEAUTIFUL optimization, now we can even visually see how much we are wrong!! And the project diva on psp is very easy, by the way.

I just bought a Retroid Procket 2+ myself. It can run PS1, Dreamcast, PSP, N64, etc backwards..but like all the titles, even god of war, conkers, etc no problem. It's got enough juice.

There are actually 2 Mermaid Melody (Anime for little girls) games on the GBA made by Konami, and they are straight up DDR clones with some minor added gameplay elements, and features songs from the anime (as in the actual audio, not a downgraded midi version like the GB games). In every episode they sing a song to beat the bad guys I believe and the baddies can come with a counter song. I know it doesn't make sense trying to explain it but you should look it up. It's made for little girls so doesn't need too much making sense hahaha. As for the game itself the rhythm game part is pretty solid from what I can remember, it's literally DDR on the GBA but all you get are easy songs.
The reason why Touhou can't run correctly on that handheld is because of the locale language. You would need to use the Japanese Locale or a Japanese Locale Emulator to run the PC98 Touhou games. Since most PC98 games are usually able to run fine on PCs while other consoles would need a Japanese Applocale Emulator to emulate PC98 Touhou games.
I have recently gotten back into project diva and thinking about getting project diva x, FT, and mega 39. I feel like this video is just screaming at me to get it
Parappa always had a input issue in the original ps1 version if you want to play the original parappa use the ps4 remaster it’s the same thing but fixes a lot a of issues (including the input issues

Looks great despite the limitations, seems like not everyone tests out the PSP PIU games on those devices though. Maybe because its easily forgettable that the PSP got a port of Exceed and Zero
I have this model. It's too bad that it can't handle DJ Max's DRM. The games run fine performance-wise but slowly implode after a few songs, with audio glitching and cutting out and weird crashes. I think the screen and buttons are great for the form factor. This is the perfect GBA replacement, screen-wise.
Retro games make me feel like I was born in wrong time. And in the wrong place too-- The only console I've ever had is a Sega Megadrive Mini. And, although I have GBA and Nintendo DS emulators on my tablet, it just doesn't feel right. Thank you for your review m(_ _)m
PC-98 Touhou probably didnt work because possibly this thing has a PC9801 and not a PC9821 emulator which is what is needed to run the PC-98 touhou games

The 'yo' sound were a feature in taiko no tatsujin portable so it happens when you move the analog stick.
