- A BRUCKNER A MONTH
When recording a piece by Bruckner every month, there is one piece that cannot be missed: Locus Iste, WAB 23. Probably the most famous of Bruckners motets. The incipit, Locus iste a Deo factus est, translates to "This place was made by God". Bruckner truly found the perfect way to put these words into beautiful music, with chords that seem to sound from heaven. For our video, we tried to find a nice and quiet spot in the Dutch landscapes which fits these words and music. Accompanied by many flies, wasps, other insects and liters of sweat, we did our best to prepare for you a beautiful new video in the Rhoonse Grienden, even during our summer holidays!

Superb
I love the blend between the 4 different types of trombones
Beautiful. Nice with four kind of trombones.
I'm in tears, well done gentlemen!
Mooi!!
Beautiful playing gents.
I held back the tears until the chord at 2:43... such a warmth with the bass and contrabass... thank you for sharing this with us.
A superb performance! Beautiful sound, perfect ensemble.
Bruckner wrote "Locus iste" as a vocal quartet. I love how the piece resembles his orchestral works: great changes in dynamics, dramatic use of rests, and a reverential tone.
My church choir director and I agreed that "Locus iste" and Mozart's "Ave verum corpus" are the best quality music in our choir repetoire.
I always look forward to playing "Locus iste" in my trombone ensemble.
Excellent version! Bravi!
Bravo, your effort was worth it. I am very much looking forward to your next video recording. Thank you very much, so far.
