I think people like an accent that is different from what they are used to hearing. Or they like the accent from their favourite celebrities. French, Spanish, Italian are always sexy.
Yeah, I'm not sure I'd get people correct when guessing an accent. I'm Canadian, have been to the US many times, Travelled some of Canada, been to England and Scotland 3(?) or so time but years ago... even visited Australia as my last trip pre covid... and yeah... I've heard "all those" in real life and more online or in videos... but I would not want to be guessing a country blindfolded.
A Canadian accent, no matter what part of the country, has a softer edge and a friendlier tone than that of the USA. The problem is many people are lazy and don't bother to actually listen. If they did they would recognise the tonal qualities and the different pronunciations. Additionally, in general conversation, Canadians speak with a lower volume than people from the USA. These traits are even present in Quebec with French speakers. There is also a friendlier edge to their pronunciations. Chimo

As for being highly subjective, given the definition of subjective is, 'Something based on personal opinions and feelings rather than on facts', all proffered statements are subjective until proven. To prove my contention, I suggested people carefully listen to the citizens of both countries and then judge for themselves. Chimo
One thing is clear: people under 40 don't know English grammar at all. "Most sexiest" is completely redundant. You can say either "most sexy," or "sexiest," but there's absolutely no need for most and sexiest to be combined. It's overkill.
None of the few Canadian accents are sexy.
Several of the accents in the US South are very sexy.
Of course, the most successful at picking him up was the American.
