- The 2023 GWM Tank 300 has arrived. I spent a week sampling the Super Luxury HEV variant and I think brands should be worried.

The car is so weird looking on screen, but I guarantee you that it looks amazing in person. It's not photogenic, but it's pretty.
They are everywhere in china esp in Tibet, being driven in the toughest conditions. They have replaced Toyota as the go to 4x4 in that part of the world.
👊🏽
I'm dissuaded by the use of petrol engines. Like why??? It's a freakin SUV. Love it all the same and the price is unbeatable. The 500 also comes with a bloody petrol engine aggghhh!
Thanks for the lovely review. Just subscribed.
Fair enough.
Thanks for the great review. I love these new Chinese vehicles, and I'm definitely interested in the Tank 300! They are great when they are new, but my concern is...will they still be great after 3 to 5 years and with 100k+ kilometers on the clock? I highly doubt it. Also 500km from a 80liter fuel tank is absolutely ridicules😂
Great review! If I could add one thing to the video its door closing sounds along with material surface sounds as some people enjoy that ASMR part
I agree and we didn't see the infotainment.
Thanks for the tip!
This is more powerful than that new ugly land cruiser. Before you judge chinese cars start checking Australian reviews wjeŕe they test the tank to extreme limits.Chinese cars are more reliable these days. I have both a german car and chinese. The german car gave more problems than the chinese car.
👊🏽
This is dope!
It is bro
Great review.
Glad you enjoyed it
This car is very nice, making it difficult to ignore. But is this their first generation?
Yup.
Great review, Kumbi. However, I think with these fuel increases we are going through in RSA, this BEAST is quite thirsty....For that, it could struggle to attract price-sensitive folks...
Thats the point, price senitive folks can just go and buy a Toyota Avanza😃
Yea
its amazing
👊🏽👊🏽
255KW is Mental
Its crazy for a 4x4
Great review, but you robbed us with the go around review you were to quickly to test driving it.
My apologies, will rectify next time 🤝🏾
@@kumbimoncars you know what I like about you, you read the comments.
@Undercoverbat95 Amen 🙏🙏🙏. Glory to Jesus
@@sandilemajiya7831I can't stand those car reviewers that just post and don't bother to interact with viewers.
Yoo long time no see, we'll thanks you a back. Tell me is this car reliable and things like parts, and maintenance
Gwm has been making cars for decades. This one is new so can't speak on that but their other cars are very reliable.
GWM has a parts distribution centre in South Africa
@@sithabelamandlawenkosiwodu6298thank you keep it up
Looks to be built like a tank 😮
That’s right.
my lil g-wagon. 😍
😂😂
Dude, why would you think you can break those side steps? 🙈
They felt flimsy.
@@kumbimoncars out of all the reviewers (including the overseas ones), you were the only one to complain about them - they can definitely hold your skinny 50kg weight 🤣🤣🤣and btw you should learn how to get in and out the vehicle, so that you don't scrape your skinny legs on them 😂😂😂
@@user-ku2rbskinny are good. They dont tire easily like others.
Let me not say anything, but great review
Thanks

Well looking at how technology has advanced, there is really marginal differences between petrol and diesel vehicles in terms of consumption.
@@thandilemasiza8289 I understand that. I'm old school. I'm a farmer. Never driven a petrol vehicle in my life. There's a reason all the bakkies and real SUV makers stick to diesel and I'll stick to diesel too.
Thank you for subscribing! But I’d suggest you give this petrol hybrid engine a chance. Has all the torque and more power than any diesel SUV/bakkie on the South African market.
@@kumbimoncars it's a very tempting option only because it looks good and I understand petrol tech has advanced so much now. But for me I still don't like petrol. Never driven one and really don't care to. I'm a diesel loved. Let me put it this way - Petrol feels just about as unnatural to me as asking a straight man to just try being with a guy because he might just like it and it's a very feminine guy anyway so it's close to what you naturally feel attracted to. I think you get it now. Diesel born and raised farmer. I really don't like petrol, I'm not petrolphobic, I just know what I like and love what I like, lol 🤣.
Sort out your sound bro
Noted.
14k a month I’m sorry there’s better options just my opinion.
Cars are expensive now
Furl consumption though.
Eish
Why does it look so much like a G wagon
Lol
What''s with the slippers man..🙄
I am sorry they bother you, I felt comfortable wearing them.
Look like a sangyong korando in front
Yup!
Jeez, that is a nice looking car. But... I don't trust vehicles made in China yet. I know too little about their reliability. When I go into the bush, I don't want to worry about breaking down. If I pay that amount of money (it is unaffordable for me in any case) for a car, it has to be a Toyota, even though it won't have cameras and bling.
Bro times have changed. Chinese cars are more reliable these days. My bakkie is 11 years now
but dont buy a chinese car if you do not have another car, you will suffer
Your information about Chinese cars is very thin it's you're filled with an extremely slender info. Please do your research,I'd be happy to know that you're not a mechanic cause if you are then you should rethink your profession. Between the Chinese cars which ones are you talking about cos it's very rare that you'll see a Cherry or Haval at the workshop due to mechanical problems.
Lies!
Why?
