Great video. Nice to see the pitfalls that can happen ahead of time. Does that airbag set up have an on board compressor to adjust them? What brand is it if you know?
How about a speed square, sharpie line and Sawzall or cut off wheel them off from the bottom ?? 🤔 a inch or so from the leaf perch ??? I want a better ride but want the same height......
Just do yourself a favor and just cut the bolts off with a grinder they will never come off ever. I broke all 4 last time I did this usually it’s 2 but now I just cut them all off and replace them haha
I did that reverse level to my 06. But my rear still sits a inch higher. Can you remove one of those spacers to accomplish that inch difference ? Would you have to purchase new mounts ?
@@horsetorquesdiesel thank you. I know that was probably a lazy/silly question. I will be adding duals soon. So there might be a lot of those coming later. Haha
The music was a good touch. Great work On the videos and I’m looking forward to seeing this truck meet your goals for it.
Thank you! It’s been fun so far.
Wow that looks way better! I’m excited to see your channel blow up!
Thank you! I’m excited for the future!
Thank you for your service Josh 👍🏻
Appreciate it!
Love the vid broski. HORRRIBLE MUSIC DOG 😂❤
As a suggestion when driving a bolt out install nut down to level of bolt and hammer without damage of threads
Being it’s fine thread I have found it buggers it up just the same. Worth a shot though
@@horsetorquesdiesel hey when did yall straight pipe the truck
@@fummins-im9tn we did it a couple days ago, waiting on the intake as well then a dyno comparison
@@horsetorquesdiesel Oh ok makes sense
Nice work
Thanks
Looks like a blast
Rust is no fun.
Great video Josh!!! Need to reverse level my 2nd gen!
Little harder on a second gen but the principles are the same!

Air lift 5000. It’s a cheap manual fill airbag kit
What is the benefit of running the spacers up top vs at the bottom? ThanksA

Great video my 2008 dodge looks almost like that. mine is silver
Third gens are definitely my favorite body style.
@@horsetorquesdiesel I really like the 5th gens although I have a 3rd gen. Hate all the emissions crap and cp4 issues on the 5th gens. Love my 5.9.
What rust buster do you like dealing with anything better than wd40?
Pb blaster
Equal parts ATF and acetone in a spray bottle, works amazing.
My truck has about a 2-2.5 level and I want to reverse level it and was wondering if I could do it my self or should I just take it to a shop
Does that wheel/tire combo rub at all on stock height front suspension?
Every socket is an impact socket.
Please get some better quality jack stands stay safe you make awesome videos keep em coming 👍
I live my life one harbor freight jack stand at a time.
So how do you get your top brake caliper bolt (smaller bolt) out now since the leaf springs are in the way? Or at least it looks like it is lol
It clears.
Mint
First like 😉👍🏻
Does it ride much better without the overload spring ??
1000% yes
Hey what kind of kit is them air bags I'm doing this to my truck tomorrow
Airlift 5000 kit
@@horsetorquesdiesel thanks appreciate it

No but you’d need new bolts

can you relocate all 3 spacers to the top if you pull the center alignment Dowell and put it in the overload spring
Just wondering if the front is the stock height ?
Yes it is
You say it rides bad with or without the overload?
It rides great in my opinion
Did you have to buy a replacement bolt, if so do you have the part number?
You can use any grade 8 1-2” bolt fine thread just get the length you need
@@horsetorquesdiesel ok good to know that any bolt will fit.
