Maangchi. Loving your show is a given. But watching you clean bowls etc and not wasting anything is my jam! It drives me crazy that other cooking shows WASTE SO MUCH FOOD! They don't clean/scrape whatever they've measured from most of the bowls or measuring utensils they use. This is so interesting! When Maangchi mixed the rice flour with the water, that's exactly how we make pittu in South India! It's made with either red or white rice flour, and steamed in a bamboo steamer with a similar cloth tied to the end! Amazing 🧡

I was waiting for this specific recipe cos I often see rice cake dessert at the korean supermarkets and have bought and tried. However I recently went gluten free and dairy free to heal my eczema and actually need to be careful now as I do get allergy reaction to gluten after being on this strict diet. Keep it in the freezer when the rice cake is still fresh. And thaw it out at room temperature and eat. You can freeze it up to 1 month.
