    This video shows how we installed my performance head on my motor the upgrades i have done on my head was
    upgraded valve springs $150NZD
    regrind 266 duration from Auckland Cams $270NZD
    gasket kit $150NZD
    Port match intake and exhaust $ cost was time
    The total cost of head build $570NZD
    seems to like higher rpms compared to a stock motor also has alot more power in low and high rpms overall feels alot better

    Great video ,, these engines are Very Under Rated and Respond Very well to knowledgeable & professional tuning ,, even in non turbo form ,, hope to see more performance videos & upgrades on this engine ... keep the good stuff rolling ...

    Your videos made me love my corolla again, just wondering if you have had any experience putting a rev counter in one of these? Pretty sure I'll be fine without but I feel bad ripping on it without one

      hi mate sometimes their hard to get out i would recommend getting out the blow torch and heating the area before trying to remove it will slightly burn the rubber o ring making it easier to get out thanks. ill make a video on this soon .

    Saw one of your other videos, the one with the 2e with webers, is it the same intake as the one for the kp, if not where do you get weber intakes for the 2e

    Difference of stock valve springs to a performance valve springs?

    • @RuggedGarage
      @RuggedGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      stock valve springs only safely rev to around 7000rpm before coil binding. The performance spring can support up to 10,000rpms before coil binding also are a very good mod when installing a performance camshaft .

      It's a 1.3 it's going to be but at least somebody is given it a try to get power from these engines so many people would just swap in a 4age but I prefer this build

      if a tuned N/A 2E is under powered , then what do you call a C220D 2020 MERC when it gets killed at 220kmh by the 2E ( 435 000KM - TUNED NON TURBO OEM ENGINE... ) ... AAT TUNED ...!!!
