Get in early and buy two next to each other and get what you want. One pool,three bedrooms, kitchen like that one perhaps a larger sitting area and a lounge area. Would be room for a car space/ scooter parking.

BUT REALLY GOOD TO LOOK AT OPTIONS, WEIGH UP THE PROS AND CONS AND MOVE ON IF NOT SUITED TO REQUIREMENTS.
THIS PLACE DOESNT GIVE ME A FEELING OF COMFORT AND IS MORE GEARED TO WEEKLY RENTAL.
I WOULD GIVE UP THE POOL IN EACH VILLA FOR A LGE COMMON POOL AND USE THE SPACE FOR A LOUNGE AREA AND SMALL GARDEN.
NEEDS SOMEWHERE TO RELAX.....ESPECIALLY WHEN YOURE OUT ALL DAY A JUST WANT SOME PEACEFUL REFLECTION ( DOWN TIME )

Strange design - nowhere to sit either inside or out and not a single cupboard, or space for one, for clothes or kitchen items. Not even a bedside table. Suitcase would be on the floor the whole time - and nowhere to even put a suitcase. Also very dark and closed in feeling - high walls, dark kitchen.
Keep them coming Murray you legend. I saw this one advertised on Facebook marketplace I believe. It would suit me and my needs fine.

Would be great to pick your brain about finding the correct method of help for a young kid id learned abiut while i was there with severe autism.
Also, dont worry about these folks and their questions about donations. People often forget when they donate, its to help someone going through a hard time, if they wanted to "loan" money, thatd be a different kettle of fish. Didnt even know you went through a rough patch, but glad youre actively doing what you can to build yourself up. Youd think thats what anyone who donated would want to see?!
Im surprised you said about $50k aud for 20 years, i would have thought they would be charging more especially when they usually price it in USD. Are you saying they are charging $33K USD. It is too small but still it would suit someone.

Japan is a very expensive place to visit

Bali is overrated. Plenty better places in Asia
Vietnam is cheap, and also has a huge Russian population especially in Vung Tau, no issues there .
I love bali, but Yes its totally over cooked now, Was great in the 90's and I'm sure even better in the 70'and 80`s, More authentic , natural and untouched. much more laid back .but just like any high growth areas in the world, they get changed for good and bad and molested with foreign influence and money . It just depends what you searching for I guess. Bali is still a great place but I would advise people to look outside of Bali for more true cultural and natural experience .
I've never met any returning foreigners in Bali that has said it changed for the better. Very sad but very true.

I just got back to Australia with my wife and we want to buy a property in Jimbaran and I was wondering if you could help us and we will pay you for your time and when we build our buy a house and land you can live in it rent free. Any help for us is greatly appreciated as we don’t know anything about buying a property in Bali. We will live in Australia for another ten years before moving to Bali. You can live there rent free while we are not there but sometimes we will come over with our kids for a week or two for holidays or my kids. Cheers

Depends on what is in your agreements
There are ways to financially protect yourself against marriage breakdown as it is a VERY common occurrence here. You need a good legal consultant
if he rent the land, he can use his name under the contract, nothing to do with break up relationship, just do not use your local spouse under your land name

This place would not do well on airbnb unless it was dirt cheap. This is definitely not a good investment. The place itself feels claustrophobic and uninviting/unappealing.
Funny you say that, it was bought and rented out full time since the vlog was posted... I wouldn't have bought OT waned to live there but there are a lot of eastern Europeans with money here these days

How do you afford to buy a rental property when not long ago ppl were donating to you to help renovate your house?? Are you going to repay what you were given??
He has no means of income but lives a great lifestyle, think I might start up a charity and live in Bali
let me make it very clear NONE of the donations sent to Balidonate ever went to the house we live in, a couple of my close friends did give us a few early wedding presents including a toilet and a bali-house (Bale). That rebuild was funded by a loan from my sister and my superannuation payment
I do have a full time job David so does my wife.
