@@jerrycohencohen8901 Your individual case is the *exception,* not the norm. Thousands of Canik owner users have no problems, they enjoy the quality of their handguns, unlike you.
I own 6 different Canik models with no issues, no stoppages, just reliability and amazing accuracy. Canik also has the best, smoothest trigger pulls, second to none.
Last, perhaps you should stick to *Block.*
I have the TP9SA and love it! Dead accurate and zero issues after almost 5 years and a couple thousand rounds.
Awesome. Yes they are. I still shoot this gun very well myself. I estimate 8k in rounds so far.

For the record, the Canik holster does not have a manual release button. It never was a manual release button. It is a retention devise that keeps pressure on the trigger guard to hold the gun in place. Yes it does take a little bit of a pull to get the gun out of the holster. Yes there are better holsters out there for the gun. And as Mr. Stevens has noted, it is a very nice gun.
They did have a paddle/button release that was done away with after he gen1's

Good luck finding a holster that is actually good for this gun to conceal. Just bought it and can't find shit that hold an extra mag for IWB.
Just got the TP9 Elite SC to add to my CCW rotation. Such a quality gun for $399! Can’t wait to get it to the range

I love all the caniks. I have the tp9sf, the tp9v2 and I just bought the tp9sf elite but I have yet to shoot the elite.

I have the exact same pistol and I'll never get rid of it. I have Walther p99, Smith&Wesson m&p 2.0and CZ p10 few others and ima tell you if someone said if you had to get rid of your shit but can keep one it would imo be the Elite. Priced right one of the best triggers out of the box great sights and looks cool and feels good in hand. Im not the greatest shooter but this thing made me look good very accurate. I've had mine for almost two years now and 1000 rounds through it went bang every time I pulled the trigger no problems at all no failure to feed or fire nothing period. Only thing which was my fault was the first range visit I dropped it and scratched the slide release it wasn't loaded but I was pissed cause it was brand new😁. I paid about 457.00 at the time still not bad for what your getting but you can get them way less right now if you look around. Long story short if you've been on the fence about buying the Elite or any Canik go to your gun range and rent one if they have em try it out I think you'll be fairly impressed.
I bought my new Canik TP9 SC Elite last month, took it to the range and used a whole box of 250 rounds and was very impressed with the close perimeter of bullet arrangement and accuracy of shooting this gun. The iron site is awesome and very easy to align with the target. Not too much recoil but trigger action is very good in regards to the trigger reset portion of the gun, short and sweet, Very good handling and feels very comfortable. Holster is very comfortable for a OWB holster and very concealable.........LOVE THIS SC CANIK

Actually the trigger safety block is very effective option for those who are a little apprehensive about appendix carry! And would probably save a lot of officers lives during a weapon snatch from a criminal.Just my humble opinion.
appendix carry is cool, as long as there isn't a hot round. I may have a small dick but I still don't want to shoot it, LOL

Good Vid, the holster on mine is only a retention device and the gun comes right out with a slight yank. Thumbs up on the underwood, that stuff doesn't play nice!
This model with the trigger safety was made for a foreign country military requirement. To have a safety. So, that's what they did and some people like the idea.
I purchased TP9 SA. good gun. had couple failure to feed, but not many. my first hand gun really.
Harsh Gadley Humm.. on the FTF mark the magazine that you used at the time. I had a friend use my Canik last week in his first class and all went well. I have 8000 rounds through the Canik at this point. Still going strong. 🙏
The TP9 SF Elite - S with the trigger stop is identical to the standard TP9 SF Elite they simply added a trigger stop to meet a military contract requirement. I don't see why people have an issue with it as it can be totally ignored. Just because it has a feature does not mean you have to use it. That said, if you "Mexican" carry it's a nice added safety feature, also because trigger stops are not common if by some miracle someone takes your gun off you it will take them a good bit to figure out how to fire it lol.

Oh yeah. They still rock. Even these days they are still priced below what others pistols are going for.
For myself, a very functional holster. The retention button is not meant to be a release / serpa style. It notches over the trigger guard. I've used the holster in competition, without any issues or hang ups. Is it the best holster, NO. But it's functional & a start.

One problem some have with Canik pistols ? It was designed for NATO ammunition and weaker loads can cause a cycling issues. Best to shoot full power loads through it until it breaks in.

You a Mooresville native? I live right down the road from Point Blank Range. I was lookin for a review on this pistol and just happened to find yours, right from my hometown range.
Purchased the tp9sfx as my range gun a month or so ago. I concur the gun makes you seem better than you actually are. Even in mag dump mode the group is insanely good.
I can hit about anything with mine. Tp9sfelite Tp9sfl or the Executive, all i am good with. (Yea just went nuts and bought them all) but put my Springfield's in my hands and i am 3 out of 5 average. A twat hair better with my glocks. But Canik is King at my ranch. Loved your comment.

Check those mag prices on the internet. I just got the 15 round mags from Buds for around $25.

The 505 If you’re buying one from the first production run (that started around 2 or 3 years ago). About 3 months later they updated the spring. If you have an original, my understanding is that you should be able to send it in and they’ll replace it for free (although I don’t know that for sure).
Doug What Do You Mean About Recoil Spring
Shahmeer Naqvi, the very early batch when they first came out had a stiffer recoil spring. It was designed to operate with 124g rather than 115g, and would sometimes have issues ejecting spent casings. If you used 124g or +p ammo, it was a non-issue. Since 115g is more commonplace in the US, they updated the pistol and they started coming out with a lighter recoil spring to work reliably with the 115g ammo. I forget what the serial number was when they changed/updated it, but it’s been over a year now. If you have a stiffer spring, you can contact Canik and they’ll send you the updated one. If yours works fine, I wouldn’t worry about it.
I have never seen Canik magazines in any gun shop theyre almost impossible to get online even now had to get some spare promags
The holster is designed correctly. It is intended to be a simple retention holster and the thumb release is irrelevant...
This is the Canik TP9 SF Elite-S, it has more features than the Elite.
The trigger safety is the only difference between the two pistols.
Where I’am from 15rd is standard capacity 👍🏻

ouch on those prices... the most I've ever seen the elite's for were $349... been regularly seeing them for $299 or less (the one models around $250)....grabbed one of the full sized ones of the TP9sf yesterday (same as yours, with the tungsten slide and the fiber optic sight. I guess that was a limited run as their "normal" black and FDE guns don't have the fiber optic, just a white front dot)
@Rick Slade it must be because of the Rona. about 6 months ago I was seeing $299-$309 for the full elite all the time. the Elite One was $250-$265... now it's just crazy pricing. I'm waiting till after Trump wins this Nov (god willing) for prices to go back down

jstevens2010 I want to buy this so bad but after all the vids I seen of all the problems they were having made me look at the other models of caniks. Is your gun a 2nd gen have they fixed the issues.
I do not own one yet, I'm still looking more at the tp9sf but I have heard they fixed a bunch of shit with the elite. Can't remember specifics and again don't know how accurate that info is.

Gun is dripping in shipping grease....should I clean and inspect my firearm or make another generic gun video...I know I'll mAke a video then say it has a "glock style trigger"
Up to you UL.. I’d clean it, throw on your fav lube and then shoot the heck out of it. To date this pistol after one broken firing pin (easily replaced), has Ten Thousand rounds through it. It’s a fantastic Glock alternative.
@@Guns_and_Outdoors_Channel I've owned a few, to say it has a glock style trigger is sacreligious. It has a trigger safety shoe like almost every other poly.striker on the market has. Comparatively speaking,the Canik (jah-nec) trigger is a Ferrari, the glock is a Honda civic
