I’d go…. Shield plus (best overall, best trigger, best finish, best texture and best value), glock 43x (ergonomics on point, very natural aim, unlimited aftermarket support, glock reliability), cz p-10s (flat shooting, great ergonomics, great finish, has good aftermarket support), canik mc9 (a great value but people are still having issues with them right now) and then the sig p365x (super ergonomic, great aftermarket support, amazing trigger but the trigger is known to have issues at 3-5k rounds, a lot of people like them)
@@spnfirearms you forgot the Iwi Masada slim as well, I think it’s a superior micro over the others shown. I own one and love it, grips like a full size but concealed very easy. You should do a review on it.
My impression of the Caniks overall is: “wow, these are a great budget firearms” My impression of the cz: “nothing about this feels like a budget firearm, this is how Glocks should come” Sums it up basically
Intake retired federal agent that carried a Glock 19 and a 26 as my backup. Recently, I bought the Canik mete mc9. It’s got a great trigger and a great weapon. Be safe.
Finally a reviewer that gets the majority of gun owners (the working class) I see a lot of reviewers that are out of touch. They think everyone should care a Glock 19/17 or full size 2011. When in reality you can’t do that in every profession. I work as a dental equipment technician and can’t have a gun printing in offices. Glad to see you pushing reasonable carry options.
I have no experience with the Canik but I have a fair amount of experience with the CZ P10s. I currently own a P10s with iron sights and another that is optic ready from the factory on which I have a Holosun optic. Both are very reliable but one of the two CZ pistols doesn’t particularly like to extract fired aluminum cases. I record the scores for all of the drills I run in order to compare my performance over time with various firearms. I tend to score a bit higher with the two CZ P10s pistols than I do with my two Gen 5 Glock 26 pistols (again, one G26 with a Holosun optic and one with iron sights). The P10s pistols are built like tanks. If in doubt, look at the P10s barrel and locking block. Logic (and my score sheets) would tell me that I should carry one of my P10s pistols rather than a G26/27. However, in 2023 I switched from carrying in the 3:30 position and started carrying AIWB much of the time. I have put a LTT Striker Control Device in all of my Gen 5 Glock pistols which allows a higher level of safety when holstering the pistol in an AIWB holster. Consequently, My G26 and G27 pistols currently see more carry time than my CZ P10s. When I do carry a CZ P10s IWB at 3:30 though, the pistol shines as a concealed carry option. Great choice!
Makes sense! It’s all about testing that firearm that you will carry. Some just aren’t to spec or something is off and have issues. I have never had an issue with any of my cz’s. Respect!
I have the CZ with the blacked out rear and front tritium..paid a bit more than 350..but love it. I can certainly attest to the butter-like slide glide.. simply amazing
Respect your choice. I have two Caniks now, the MC9 is one of them. I haven’t shot it yet, but it feels amazing to hold and handle. Have you tried the CZ? How does it feel for you?
i literally just got rid of my MC9 for a P10S, it’s going to be my EDC, i didn’t have any issues with my MC9 with 300 rounds but i didn’t want to run the risk of malfunctions when i truly need to bet my life on it
I watch a lot of different gun channels, but spin is about the only one that is my age that I really like to watch because he doesn’t talk about irrelevant things or try to sell coffee to me. Spin basically shown me I can like what I like and not give a shit about what other people think. Gun wise

I bought my Canik METE MC9 a week ago and it was $399. I tried to replicate every issue I have seen videos about and could not get any of them to replicate. It shoots 115 grain just fine, no issues with hollow points, and 12+1 has no issues either. If I couldn't find the Canik I was going to get the S&W Shield Plus. I don't think either are a bad decision but the rail and optics ready of the Canik put it on top for me.
Canik guy. It's like every all new firearm. See Henry Homesteader, Glock 47, Sig 320 (any), Smith &Wesson FPC, on and on. Wait till they work the kinks out. All great companies.
I really think most of it was just some wrong pressure recoil springs. I just bought one so I will find out if mine has any 115 gr problems soon as well. I am not really worried even if it does. I can put in a new spring kit. All it takes is a few to slip thru with a problem and it causes major internet commotion in my mind. This is my 1st Canik so I will see, regardless. Glad You had good luck with yours.
I really like Canik, I used to own an TP9-SF Elite. That being said even though I held the MC9 and it felt good in hand, the CZ did it for me. I bought the P10S.
I picked up a brand new Canik MC9 in the 1st week of Sept for 377.95 . Its my 1st Canik but after watching a ton of reviews I decided to take a chance. The only bad complaints I saw were from some that had the wrong recoil spring. I am not worried about that. I have never bought a "micro compact" 9mm pistol and this seemed like the largest one for my large hands among other things. I think the CZP10 is more of a "compact" size myself. I think "micro" sizes like the MC9 is more of a summer carry, and "compact" sizes are more of a winter carry, In my mind anyway. So get a "Compact" like the CZP10C for winter carry. 😊😄
I have the Canik Elite SC and absolutely love it but had to get the MC9 for just the reason you said: summer wear. SC is 1.5 inches wide, to wide to tee shirts but the MC9 at 1.01 is perfect! 👍
Thanks for the versus video, just ordered a p10M at palmetto. Do Glock sights still work, even on a Czp10m?? I have some police trade in that I replaced for my gen5 26. For the first upgrades I Ordered another mag, & talon grips pro. Thanks again. Stay strapped❤
No out of battery issues yet with the MC9? Been hearing several complaints on this, and there are actually videos out there that show the issue.. even on Colon Noir video it slipped on the editing and you can see its out of battery (he didn't mention anything about it naturally).
I have a p07 I bought it from a gun show went right to the range after didn’t oil or clean it shot perfect very easy to shoot. I have put few hundred rounds through it and it has yet to have any kinda of stoppage. Fmj’s hollow points cz is a hidden gem I think it’s cool there not as popular. Same can he said with my mc9 also don’t have as many rounds through it but no issues only shot sig v crowns through it for hollow points but it seems to like them.
New sub here! I’ve been looking at both of these for my next carry gun. At first, the Canik METE MC9 got my attention and I thought it could replace my first carry gun which is a Glock 19 Gen 5. However, with the METE MC9 I can see some people may have the mag release issue and problems at the 700 round mark. Makes me think it’s a hit or miss for me to buy at this time. Then there goes the CZ P10S, got a chance to hold one really amazing and perfect size for my hand; making a second choice purchase. As of right now, I’ll wait for Canik to release improved models of the METE MC9. I haven’t decided which one I’ll go for and don’t have any sufficient funds to buy yet. In the meantime, I have other important matters to take care off before buying a new firearm. On top of that, I’m not quite done with my first firearm like stocking up mags, adding different holster, and or other accessories. Question for the METE MC9, have you tried different mags other than the ones that came with it to solve the mag release issue?
I haven’t! It’s gotten better by just a little bit so far. I’ll be putting a ton of rounds through it this weekend and will keep everyone updated. Respect!
My first pistol is the p01. Have about 2k rounds, give or take...havent had any issue. Only ammo issue cuz i buy cheap ammo for range. 1 thing i would change is the slide, its not much meat to grab onto. I know its built the way its built for its purpose. Im just sayin. I really wna try the p10 or the p07. Oh and of course the Shadow 2 Compact.
SPN, a good versus would be between the CZ P10-S and XDM Elite 3.8" small grip. Their barrels are almost the same. 3.8 - 3.5 = 0.3. Give us your honest opinion.
I have noticed on my mc9 if I squeeze the front with my finger with a little pressure on the back and putting no pressure on the side my mags come out fine. Just don’t grip all sides. Just pressure on the front and back. Maybe it will help with the mag ejection better. I love my mc9 though. I hear it gets better over time.

Researching for that sweet spot carry pistol. G26, g26 build, hellcat, Ria officer 1911, bul 3.25 ul, 856 2in & 3in. Lcp max. All are good enough but not everything I’m looking for. Maybe one of these 🤷🏾♂️
Have both.have no issues ewith my mc9..love both but i like the cz a bit more ad rotate them out as my edc.i have the overwatch trigger in my cz and a freedomsmith trigger in my canik.
I’d like to see your thoughts on the Kimber R7 Mako and/or Walther PDP F series. :) regardless I enjoy all the content on most of the guns I’m considering especially these two.
Haha I have just been done wrong by sig and I don’t trust them. Even know I have 5. And I want to get a mako, it’s on the list and I love the pdp f series. As ergonomic as can be and unbelievably light!
cz P10s is hard to beat….. Value, Performance….. The size is a bonus….. if I had to choose I’d go with a hellcat as a micro…… The trigger is more Glockesque but the reliability and durability is top notch….. The Shield plus is right there as well….. personal preference….. Good to have choices. 🇺🇸
I have a cz p10c and its not a bad gun by any means but i get a hot spot on my thumb joint bone from the beaver tail and it's harder for me to control the recoil than on a glock 19
It's almost better to compare P-10s with Canik Elite TP9 since it's a subcompact as well, and MC9 is a micro-9. That being said I've owned MC9 for a bit, and was a decent gun, and now maybe back in market for a small 9. So, I've narrowed it down to Shadow Systems CR920, Canik MC9, CZ P-10S, and possibly S&W m&p 2.0 w/3.6inch barrel.
That extended mag on the MC9 is so odd. Such a weird design choice to not extend the entire mag and make the back of the mag flush with the back of the frame/grip. Does it dig into your hand?
You know what? Love to see conceal carry daily outfits. Not to tell you what to do or anything just a suggestion because I don’t see much videos of that.
As far as it handles recoil better then a sheild plus and is a little smaller to conceal.. add a +2 bass plate and it can be had for sometimes under 250$... not sure it could be best small pocket carry out there..
I have shield 2.0, glock 26, and HK VP9. I will take my cz P10s over all of them except the HK, which to me are tied for performance, accuracy, and ergonomics. My cz P10s came with night sights and I paid $350 total out the door. You cannot beat well built, accurate, and at that price point. The Glock 26 has long track record but that is irrelevant if I am not as accurate with it as I am on the CZ.
Mc9, shield plus, p365x, cz p10s or g43x? Which do you preferred the most and why?
I’d go…. Shield plus (best overall, best trigger, best finish, best texture and best value), glock 43x (ergonomics on point, very natural aim, unlimited aftermarket support, glock reliability), cz p-10s (flat shooting, great ergonomics, great finish, has good aftermarket support), canik mc9 (a great value but people are still having issues with them right now) and then the sig p365x (super ergonomic, great aftermarket support, amazing trigger but the trigger is known to have issues at 3-5k rounds, a lot of people like them)

great video , the CZ is the better shooting pistol but the canik is more concealable for carry. tough decision.
I'm currently making this decision. I have a CZ-10C and Canik TP9SF Elite. I want a smaller size for concealment. So far I'm leaning towards the CZ.
What sights is on the mc9 and where did whdid you purchase it
I love all the CZ guns and rifles. P10m first-time it is hard to get use to, but once you know how to use, it is accurate and safe.
What u think about them compared to the Stoger?
I have been looking at both these guns. Not sure which one I want.
How has the Romeo zero held up for you?
Is there a P-10S that is optic cut?
Shield Plus or Mossberg MC2SC?
Researching for that sweet spot carry pistol. G26, g26 build, hellcat, Ria officer 1911, bul 3.25 ul, 856 2in & 3in. Lcp max. All are good enough but not everything I’m looking for. Maybe one of these 🤷🏾♂️
Have both.have no issues ewith my mc9..love both but i like the cz a bit more ad rotate them out as my edc.i have the overwatch trigger in my cz and a freedomsmith trigger in my canik.
Do you know if the ruger ready dot fits the mc9
I’d like to see your thoughts on the Kimber R7 Mako and/or Walther PDP F series. :) regardless I enjoy all the content on most of the guns I’m considering especially these two.
Also, lol the Sig shade. I love how it gets thrown in. I don’t have any experience with Sig but I think it’s funny.
Haha I have just been done wrong by sig and I don’t trust them. Even know I have 5. And I want to get a mako, it’s on the list and I love the pdp f series. As ergonomic as can be and unbelievably light!
Add canik tp9 sc and masada s let me know?
Love my cz, but I do wish it was a little smaller when concealing
Nice
tops bro
I can’t find a light bearing left hand draw holster for either of these
how about the p10M - seems like a better comparison?
Nice vid
Thanks man, respect!
does the cz have firing pin issues?
cz P10s is hard to beat…..
There's a guy that 3d prints a fix for that. Like$30
I don’t mind it because I don’t like my hand being pinched when i put a fresh mag in. function > looks
CZ. Hands down.
I liked the video.
You know what? Love to see conceal carry daily outfits. Not to tell you what to do or anything just a suggestion because I don’t see much videos of that.
That’s a great idea! I got you
I have the Canik mc9, and Hellcat RDP, but really feeling the CZ p10m! Had a chance to buy it for about $275 and backed off. Thinking I blew it. 😞
Should have got it man, that’s a steal at $275.
Bro... just seen one in the last week for like 235. Don't give up ;-)
@@quaderudy9307 appreciate that! Yeah, think I want it.
Why would you want the P10m? That thing is AWFUL.
