Half of the ffa game is basically a chill session of city builder until you get the strongest army and you push. Naked imperial should never work in 1v1 unfortunately
Ridiculous how many maphackers are running rampant, I report so many in my own Games aswell. It's really sad, this is probably never going to change I guess
It's rubbish. It's made me stop playing cos it's just unpleasant. I also constantly face players teaming because they speak Chinese and want to target non Chinese players for some reason. It sucks.

I don't play on-line, but do play FFA against the AI. One thing I have noticed is that the AI doesn't move the king after the TC goes down. I find that I can instruct my units to attack the king (since I roughly know where it comes out of the TC, I can generally click it's hitbox) thru the fog-of-war (though I did reveal that section of the map). Is this what map-hackers are basically exploiting? That you can click a hitbox on a unit on the map regardless of whether that area is fogged or visible?
Map hacks are much more powerful than that. In online matches it's extremely important to know what your opponent is doing as early as possible, so you can counter it.
For example, with map hacks you can see what your opponent's villagers are collecting- giving you an idea of whether they want two town centers, or to go to Castle Age, or make military units. And if they build a military building you can always choose the counter (Spears against a stable, for example).
There's more than this- getting a ton of the sheep, instantly finding vulnerable villagers gathering resources, seeing when they make springalds, etc.. It's a massive, massive advantage.
@@wilhelmcanary-reed7177 Sure; I get the obvious benefits of having god-view. But on top of that, it seems there are benefits like being able to send your troops to attack enemy troops not visible in a way that has your troops follow them across the map just by clicking their hit box

Funny. The hacker was in two 2v2v2v2 Mega Nomad Kings lobbies last week. Backed out of one lobby due to too wide of a skill gap. Other one was full but saw the hackers name. Sheesh 🙄

Thats not a map hack, it seems he sent an attack command on the relic, and once picked up it disappears from map but way point already set lol. FYI I could be 100% wrong lol
I was wondering the same thing, if he just sent his units to the relic. The monk hasn't moved since touching the relic. I suspect many alleged map hacking is just things like this. It seems like lots of people say people are map hacking but it can't possibly be that pervasive. Not just anyone can figure out how to do something like that.

Yeah not sure that's a map hack, looks like he selected the relic and it auto changed once picked up. May be an exploit, but to just insta blow him up as a "confirmed hacker" is wild
