Interesting build but the English player fell right into his play and didn’t pressure him at all. Didn’t scout that archery ranges were down before going to spears, didn’t harass woodline with horseman, didn’t counter tower rush to keep the French in their base. Imagine if English put a forward White Castle as a staging point and put out trebs, French would be screwed
Really appreciate the build order vids. Kind of been struggling with it. Think I lost quite some games due to it. AOE2 had enough content in regards to build orders, AOE4 doesn't. Keep up the work
Drongo I respect ur knowledge about the game a lot, but this MU was so untypical for French vs English, especially on this short distance map. High aggression is what you see typical on ladder, starting in Feudal. But this Eng guy went for horsemen, which are so bad. The game was over when he did no damage and French had 2 tc, right? I see with horsemen you could theoretically rush the Frensh gold (while he does the same with yours, with better knights), but even that seems off to me. Weird game imho.
Started AoE4 after playing AoMythology like 10 years ago. Played only Delhi till now (Diamond 1). Looking to start a new civ, so a perfect video! Thanks.

@@BjornIvarstead Early men at arms rush in Dark age. So I'm not sure, but the strategy did work quite a bit my last few games
@@TCOYChannel fair point. However, those only have 2 armor and are rather expensive in dark age for a full spam. Some outposts easily counter them.

Isn't this what you do with Abbasid but knights is what makes this work. But Abbasid gets faster castle because of cheaper vills.

Going from tower rush every single time to pure boom, divine is something else.
I tried this on a mirror match it just doesn’t work. You get rushed by French and rams getting pushed in kills towers easy.
