I got the 46mm Jet Black Series 10 as my very first Apple Watch and I have to say, I love it immensely. This is absolutely the color to get, looking sleek and stylish and the battery easily lasts me throughout the day with still 40% when I go to sleep at night. I developed a charging routine every morning when I shower and I leave the house with 88%. The new ultra fast charging capability for this year’s model is amazing. No issues with battery whatsoever after the 11.0.1 update!
When I was purchasing my first Apple Watch, I went in my local Apple Store and tried on all colours, sizes and models. Ended up with a 41 Nike Series 7 in Starlight. Absolutely love it. Thanks for the content.
I replaced my 44 mm Series 5 with the 46 mm Series 10 a few days ago. The Series 10 is a little larger on my wrist but actually feels a little more comfortable. Most importantly the battery life of the 10 is on a level that my 5 could never reach even when it was new
I am very happy with my 42mm s10. Gps + cellular...my first apple watch The small one is very good on small wrists like me... The big one doesn't look like a watch on hand... One thing i wanna say.. If you really leave your phone in house while u go out... Or heavy mobile user where ur phone battery runs out then only go for cellular otherwise save ur money.. I am using since last 30 days i haven't solely use the cellular feature..
I also had the problem with the camera app and turns out you need to unlock your iPhone to let the picture show up on the Apple Watch. If you’re just opening the camera without unlocking the iPhone you will get no picture on the watch.
Agree with you re the titanium price. These are, after all, tech devices and they will go EOL long before those cases will ever degrade. These aren’t collectible timepieces either. I enjoy using them, but my Apple Watch 7 is already less than 80% battery. They just don’t last, but I can’t justify that price for titanium knowing the device HW won’t last. Great video.
I'm surprised that people aren't talking more about the reduced thickness. I found previous Apple Watches always looked little bit too bulky on my wrist and I think this really improved with this version. By the way, Kyle: The shots in your videos are really amazing!
They did change the design of the series 10. It’s much more comfortable than the older models. But I respect your decision of not upgrading because it support watchOS 11
@@GoofyahhuncIeproductions2024you’re right, I upgraded to the 10 from my old Series 5 a few days ago and the 10 definitely feels more comfortable on my wrist, even more importantly the battery life of the 10 is on a level that my Series 5 could never achieve even when new
There are soo many bugs with touch and software for iPhone 16 pro max and now with the apple watch, honestly feeling kind of regret switching to Apple. Macbook M1 works okay for now
I decided to go ultra but I’m really thinking of exchanged for s10. Ultra is bulky and while is has some nice features I’m finding it’s actually a bit uncomfortable
Thanks for another balanced review. I've got the 45mm non-cell Series 9 that I'll be sticking with for a while, it's a great watch. I'm in the US so I was able to use the sleep apnea feature (I'm old, and it was a concern) but I too got tired of tracking my sleep. Who wants confirmation they got a lousy night's sleep?
I dislike sleep tracking for the same reason, the “bad sleep” that never used to bother me suddenly started making me feel terrible. 100% agree not every aspect of my life needs to be gamified!
i wouldnt be able to sleep because it was trying harder to fall asleep to get better stats. It had a reverse effect in making my sleep worse. now i sleep without my watch on and sleep much better.
I really miss the blue, the green, the product(Red) of series 7 and the silver stainless steel. I don’t know if I could ever upgrade after this 41 mm silver stainless steel the series 9 and blue aluminum series 7. Also now the smaller variant is kinda huge to my wrist

(Product)red for a chance at life always when available!! 🥰🩸 (I love my red Series9) 🥰
Hey Kyle, great video. I got my Series 10 46mm gps only (jet black) on 20th last month. I upgraded from SE Gen 1. So far I am loving it. No battery drain issues in my unit. I also really appreciate the thin design compared to the SE, it somehow sits closer to the wrist and feels more comfortable. The thing which I absolutely love is the fast charging, it is a real blessing. Having said that, if it could somehow manage to give a 2-3 day battery life would make it perfect.
I think there is a negative that bears mentioning that I imagine you don’t have in Canada. We no longer have the SPO2 feature in the US because Apple has never settled the patent infringement. I do miss that as I have to go back to a finger oximeter.
Could I ask for an opinion, coming from a series 5, should I save some money and get an s9 or just go for the s10? I’m a very casual user, I don’t use crazy tracking metrics, but would love more battery life and the new screens that melt into the sides from s7+.
Interested to know what you did. Based on what you said a 9 sounds like a no brainer tbh. Unless you specifically want a larger screen and thinner frame of the 10
Just wondering for those in the comments and for Kyle. Does everyone use the mode where your screen is always on? I have heard a lot of people saying their watch battery (from various generations) barely gets them through the day. I am on a Series 7 and I can get through 1 1/2- 2 days even though the watch is a bit old now. I use the mode where you raise your wrist to wake the watch. Curious how different the battery life is in these two modes for different watches and users. What mode was used in this review? Is there any advantage to having the screen always on?
I leave the alway on feature on simply because it looks nicer and more like a watch than a blank screen. I’ll make my watch face and band match my clothes in some way and that’s more visible with the always on feature
The only reason I am upgrading from the series 8 to 10 is there have been many suggestions Apple is going to change the band connection to magnetic. I have a lot of bands which I don’t want to loose the capacity to still wear
Agreed on the distaste for “game-ifying” everything, though I do track my sleep and keep the data accumulating for diagnostic purposes (so I don’t live and breathe in the data, but do reference it in relation to other health issues). Technology has certainly put us in the unique position of being able to track so much from home, and with near medical grade accuracy, so treading the thin line of sanity can be incredibly tricky and one size certain does not fit all. Also, put me down for “yes” for the watch that buzzes to remind me to insert dramatic pauses, best closers in the business, good sir, as always!
You asked if we saw anything unique enough to be worth an upgrade. Watch 8 here and no, not yet. Titanium and the super hard glass is tempting, but will wait for next processor and maybe Band 71. Good review!
The only reason I got the series 10 cuz found one brand new in facebook marketplace for $300 46mm jet black. If wouldn’t for that I woulda stay with my series’s 9
How are you playing the Spotify directly from the speaker of the watch can you plz make a video or explain it as my watch is not playing music on its speaker from Spotify , I have 10 series

46

The titanium is a lot more premium and it comes with cellular, so if you factor that in it is $200 more

didnt the screen nott get bigger since the bezels got bigger?
Idk why this series 10's screen bezel looks bigger when compared to the series 9. Is it actually a bigger bezel when compared to series 9?
You can bet series 11 will have a smaller bezel and apple will use it as an opportunity to talk about an infinity display or something like that
