Yes, yes, yes to color change and getting that length cut off. I’ve thought this for years, but even more so as I’ve aged, that having a definitive style/cut is the best thing a woman can do to look fantastic.
I cannot believe you asked!!! I was actually waiting for you to say it when you changed views! It's ridiculous of course! Or as my husband likes to say "Aristophanes!" The first thing I didn't like was her bang. She has such a pretty face and that bang is just not flattering. But that side part? Perfect! Really drew my attention to her eyes and those great cheekbones! I thought the sideview was fine but when you show it a bit shorter, I like it better. If she has the nerve, and the spunk, I think that shorter cut really looks great on her. It actually makes her look spunky! She has a nice profile and it really highlights that! So, side part, and a lot shorter!

I'd suggest adding a few bold (or baby lights?) platinum blonde highlights in the front...since her skin tone is pinkish...I believe that would look amazing❗I'm going to add some lowlights & highlights to my base color also 😀

Given all that, I'd probably cut the hair in a very short shape in a cute, modern, spikey style. I'm thinking a color, perhaps, of a Copper Mahogany. She is simply gorgeous! That's the haircut I crave -- but it takes skill not to make a mess of it and if your stylist doesn't know how to bevel the back and keep everything from falling apart into different sections it won't work. Love the hairstyle, looks fantastic on this lovely lady!
Shorter in back, stacked, angled upward and the cooler color, Love! Would style it though with the layers in the back more flipped out and less rounded down.

I have a concern though... Love the transformation. As a hairstylist for 20 years, now retired, it is so hard to get a person to change their hair styles. Even if it is trying to get a person to do a partial side part from a center part. I have pictures of my past and I never had the same hair style. I was always changing it. I had ONE client that was open to everything and together we came up with a master plan. Plus, she was very fussy with her hair and her hair was always perfect no matter what she was doing. I would like to believe I was an artist at what I did. I enjoy watching your videos and even though I am retired my mind is still open to all your suggestions. I was a late bloomer in the hair industry. In those 20 years my ambition to be an owner of a salon and designing what square footage I had to work with. My health made me stop. If it would have been different I would still be standing behind that chair at 71 years young. I'm happy to have found your videos! Thank you!!! The end result is perfect, go for it Betty! Even if you don't like it completely "meh" it's only hair that grows out anyway and you can always modify it on the next cut. The color you have now makes it look washed out. Personally I would just warm up the color with a warmer blonde. Not too dark but a warmer blonde. Even if you like to do highlights, you can warm up the highlights too. Justin the reason why I just started watching your channel is bc I am getting my hair cut this Thursday and have been looking for a new style, this is it!!! Right now my hair is longer than Betty's and I'm very tired of the same old cut.. I want to go shorter without going over the top. Thank you Justin! The first example where you too the front/back slightly shorter - I swear I saw her beautiful smile lift too. It was nearly like watching animation it was so immediate. The short cut also emphasized her posture. Good posture is youthful.

I think with it shorter it makes her look younger. That view…does not suck. No, no it doesn’t. Love the curveball - she’s wearing the great cut in the curveball rather than vice versa. Better proportions. Agree with slight color tweak too. Watching your videos, which I’ve been enjoying very much, it’s getting easier to spot things right away that are apparently quite common problems. Especially the bottom angle/length/layers in profile. That has helped me be able to go to my fabulous stylist and say I’d like mid-neck length at max in front and follow jawline for angle - what an improvement! Thank you for what you do - you’re obviously helping a lot of people to understand how to improve their look. And who doesn’t want to look better?

The first example where you too the front/back slightly shorter - I swear I saw her beautiful smile lift too. It was nearly like watching animation it was so immediate. The short cut also emphasized her posture. Good posture is youthful.
The view definitely doesn’t suck! I like the short approach and darker color for Betty! In fact, my hairstyle is pretty much like hers and I think at my next appointment I will get it cut as you’ve suggested for Betty!
Doesn't suck. 👍 I love the nature views. I thought darkening the roots and a little more of a side part would be great and also shortening it in the back. I think with it shorter it makes her look younger. Isn't it funny how we can point out things for other people that would help their concerns with their style but we can't figure out stuff for our own hair LOL. Thank you for another great video 😁

That view…does not suck. No, no it doesn’t. Love the curveball - she’s wearing the great cut in the curveball rather than vice versa. Better proportions. Agree with slight color tweak too. Watching your videos, which I’ve been enjoying very much, it’s getting easier to spot things right away that are apparently quite common problems. Especially the bottom angle/length/layers in profile. That has helped me be able to go to my fabulous stylist and say I’d like mid-neck length at max in front and follow jawline for angle - what an improvement! Thank you for what you do - you’re obviously helping a lot of people to understand how to improve their look. And who doesn’t want to look better?

Does not suck! Lol. Love this series. Love the dimension of the darker color at the roots, BUT the gray shows so much faster than when we have lighter hair at the crown. The curve ball is so nice on her. She’s so petite and it will balance her features. A pixie would be so cute too
