Im not a game dev or even very good with Unreal yet but I still want this. Can think of plenty of uses for future project ideas I have. Nice work fella. 👏
Fraking Sweet, Man! Great improvements! The indoor feature is my favorite. I was just using Easy Snow in my newest scene. and I had to fight it to not be in the house. Thanks a lot!
As a game dev, sometimes I see the things people do for cinematics and have to lie down for a while. Big win for performance and they both look great, but ‘individual snowflake meshes’ absolutely sent me.
You are the best! Can we expect more weather effects with your artistic touch in the future? I am a sucker for good weather effects in games, and unfortunately they are hard to achieve.
I've got all of your the tools. In another note could you please create a video tutorial on fixing Depth of Field Flickering when using Lumen and Raytracing? I'm specifically struggling with reflective surfaces like rivers and vegetation in a PCG forest, which flickers as if there's low final gather noise. I've tried everything I could find online, but nothing has worked so far. Thank you in advance and keep up the good work !
Could be interesting to try and implement an edge blur parameter in the particle material itself based on the movement of the camera for an even better faux motion blur. A gradient mask shouldn't result in the same artefacts as motion blur while the camera is moving. If you can scale it up and down based on the cam velocity I'd be very interested to see what the results are, combined with what you are already doing to recreate it in the particle system.
Excellent video! Thank you.. Would love to know what camera you are using to record your video? Also what software you are using for that? Thanks again!
@WilliamFaucher - PS - BTW - love this plug-in. It's really easy to use and looks awesome! Also - I noticed that the MF_WF_WorldSnow Mat. Func. doesn't allow for Emissive to pass thru because you're using it for the Glitter. Would be nice in a future release if you could get that to work along side the Glitter. I use Emissive for things like Landscaping/exterior Archviz accent lights and automotive light fixtures (which was how I found this out - was trying to get snow to show up on Brake lights for a car cinematic I'm working on.) Thanks again!
I don't have either mac or linux, so haven't really been able to troubleshoot that at all, even asking some people on mac, it's been hard to narrow down. I've written it off as Mac just being wonky as all heck for UE usage, so many students of mine have had a plethora of issues on mac with it. Fortunately windows is the main platform for UE developers though.
Thats what the camera centric mode is for! It will always spawn around the camera, kinda making it infinite in a way. You can increase the spawn radius from there
Killing it with these plugins 🤙🏿🤙🏿
Thanks my man!
Do I need this? No. Do I want it juuuuust in case? Hell yeah :D
I start uni for game dev in a month so this is perfect for me
Perfect way to wrap up the summer 💪🏻
Thanks!
In the front row, eagerly waiting for EASY RAIN to take the stage.
Yeah, What He SAID

This is awesome. Thank you so much for doing that. This pack is amazing!
WF in BEAST MODE.. YOU ROCK..!!!!

That's where the games version comes in, no meshes being used, just sprites :)
Cinema folks live in a beautiful world. When will it be our turn? I want meshes too. :’)
Just in time... Thank you
The King strikes again. Thank you
Good work, William! Love your shaders!
Great video and blueprint, as always. I would love to see a video on integrating EasySnow with UDS.
Brilliant update man! Thanks :D

oh my goshy it's August 21th and I have to take out my winter coats after seeing this🤣
Nice work
Thanks for the update info! I saw an update for EASYFOG in my Epic Vault - are you planning an Update Video for that also?

Did you manage to fix the Linux / Mac bugs or is that still broken? Would love it get this working one day. Snow in games is just so good!

Can you make a video how to use Casacedur to for camera animation and then import in UE?
Did I miss it? How do I set the depth of the snow to either just a few inches or to a few feet?
Displacement, but you will have to adjust the magnitude of you displacement in the master material to do a few feet. I do not recommend that
Have you tried UE on windows are. Not for gaming but for making scenes. also with tein motion?
am getitng it today nd the rest of the plugins...
Can you update your render settings pdf. Even a video could be cool to see your latest render settings and console commands etc.
Things havent really changed!
I see no discount..
game version of all your stuff would be great tho.
It’s a price drop, not an official marketplace sale, the price is 25% lower than usual :)
I am only seeing one item on gumroad. Should I find more? And do your plugins work with UE 5.4?
Its not on gumroad, the link is in the video description ☺️ and yes, they do
Is it available for Mac yet??
I got this already. Is there a way to make it "infinite" across the area, with an outdoors + indoors invironment, or do I need to puzzle it?
Thats what the camera centric mode is for! It will always spawn around the camera, kinda making it infinite in a way. You can increase the spawn radius from there
Plz tell me what is your pc aspects
спасибо
I love you
