Thank you for sharing ...I am new to fountain pens and I was using Diamine. I loved some of the colors but they are dye based and water mess everywhere. I learned a great lesson. Looking into the pigment based waterproof inks now. I will be trying the LTB atmospheric line for sure.
I was just thinking about ordering some LTB ink and up pops your video 😮! So thank you for putting this video together it’s really helped me out..😊 it was very helpful . One thing, have you thought about using Vaness inks “White Lighting”, it’s supposed to really help with dry inks.
Glad it helped! I actually have a bottle of that stuff I should have mentioned it in the video. For the sailor inks I had to put so much of the white lightning in it kinda affected the color lol
love the video. very informative. I recently discovered lennon tool bar and have even enjoying their inks. Lennon tool bar cloudy day is truly one of my favorite inks and pairs beautifully with my sailor every rose has its thorn pen.
Thanks - I really enjoyed this video - very informative. I share most of your preferences (fast-drying, colorfast, don’t clog pens, saturated colors, etc), so this was a very helpful video for me. (I also appreciated your considerations about sourcing and not supporting companies that have shown themselves to be bigoted).
Yes I try to be gentle when talking about the sourcing stuff because it’s very hard to vet everything we buy and I never want anyone to feel bad about it. But once I know about it, of course it’s kinda hard to ignore haha.
i just got some samples of Lennon Tool Bar inks and i really enjoy them! i got a bottle of sesame oil and i’m excited to use it! slso i remember seeing an apology from Robert Oster and the brand working with the person afterwards to fix the issue they had. idk if i’ll buy from them again either but there was an apology so i wanted to let you know!
Do you ever find dust-like flakes floating at the top of your LTB ink bottles? I have been quarantining mine as I'm concerned about [mold, fungus, slime, bacteria].
I was impressed with your critiques but you go so fast and rapid hand movements make it difficult to really SEE the inks. Just a suggestion. I’ve been looking for waterproof inks, so I further appreciate your reviews.
I’m sorry about that. I will try and be more aware of it in future videos. (Working on my umms as well 😅). For this video you can reduce the speed as the other commenter mentioned!

YESSSS love Kakimori & lennon toolbar inks! Those are also my two favorite brands haha. Such a great collection, thanks for sharing!
Thank You for this video.. I am also always looking for waterproof inks that's not just black & I'm thankful to know that LTB has this kind of line.🙏

Where did you get your nib holder for your Kakimori nib? I love it. Thanks
It’s from Kakimori! They just came out with small ones.
@@the_stationery_writer Thanks. I love it.

Nice! Thanks for the update. I didn’t follow it too closely to be honest. I’m just meh on the inks anyway.
Are LT inks safe to use in vintage fountain pens?
Hm I would think so because they’re dye based but I don’t know a lot about vintage pens.
I don't have any Lennon Tool Bar inks, I keep hearing good things! I'll have to try them out. Not that I need more ink... XP
Haha I feel that.

No but I’ve never had that happen to any of my inks before though. I think this issue can sometimes be climate dependent.
what insert is that? with the plastic protector and kraft
It’s refill 028, Kraft card file.
@@the_stationery_writer thanks!

I use slower speeds for some videos. Maybe that can help? You'll find it up in the right corner. 😇🩷🙏🙌
