Never realized how much I miss these guys until I see one of these videos. I used to watch them at 7:30 PM on a Saturday night on our Boston ABC affiliate. They used to randomly change times so I'd have to pull a physical copy of TV Guide out and see where they went. It would sometimes be 2 or 3 on Saturday night/Sunday morning. I'd set my alarm. RIP to the legends.
In Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert's defense, with the title "Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead," the film's message, and even how the film portrays the adult world of men and women, the film had definitely just rubbed them off the wrong way. This was because they felt that with the film's title, message, and take on the adult world of men and women, the movie came off that it was going to negatively impact society with how the film portrays kids, adults, adult life, and babysitters as it could've gave them a bad reputation in the future thanks to this movie.

I liked Drop Dead Fred soo much I bought the dvd. It is a good movie that keeps your interest. Pheobe Cates was great in this movie.
