Hey Mike been waiting for this for years. I love your Bushcraft but behind the scenes is really special. Hope you and your family are doing well. Until the next one Greetings from Germany.
Flying Edinburgh on Saturday to pick the van up and watching these I can’t wait. Definitely trying to work on the wife for the project to set up Edinburgh on Saturday to pick a van up and watching these I can’t wait. Definitely trying to work on the wife for the projector set up!!
Love your new projector, and screen fits perfectly as if designed for your van. I watched it on your other channel, enjoyed it then and now, awesome purchase.
@@LifeofMikeOfficial well Mike I've been following you since the early early days when Alec Steel came out to your origional bushcraft fort type shelter. so not exactly sure how many years that's been but you've done quite a bit
Hi Mike loving the projector system, I can see some in depth discussions with my good lady about how much we "need" one. Now the clock. I got one for our van and when the batteries ran down we didn't replace them and eventually we took it out of the van. We have wrist watches and phones we never looked at the clock, it became a nuisance emitting light we didn't need or want. I would rather have the extra couple of inch of work surface you will lose to be honest. Looking forward to the next episode. ATB buddy.
Petition to change the name of the chanel to "Meet the Pullens." Kidding, congratulations on the success of your career as a content creator. Can't wait for more content!
Hi Mike. Great Video, not sure if this is interest to you. I have Nebula too for my Van. I link it to my head unit via Bluetooth and use the surround sound of my van instead of the Nebula unit itself. I know the nebula has great sound anyway. I’ve removed the VW speakers out mine and upgraded it to cerwin vega speakers (could be any of course) but movies sound great! I did soundproof the van as not to annoy others outside, got to respect everyone. 👍
@@LifeofMikeOfficial The front fit exactly in the same aperture as the old VW’s. Fit the tweeters high up above the window pillars hiding the wire behind. I got the rear versions because I could fit them into rear seatbelt cassette holes (which I removed). If you don’t have this scenario. You can use the another pair just like the front. They even an integral tweeter version as 6.5”. So if your installing them higher up this would be easier and beneficial (less wiring). Hope that makes sense. Get back to me if you need any help/info/advise. Cheers Simon
My van hasn't arrived yet but I'm here for all of this :). It has certainly inspired me but since I don't own a tablet I think I'm going to try and mount the projector using a cold shoe and a camera mount. If it works, all in for £15. If it doesn't, I'll just admit I was wrong and do it your way!! Keep up the inspiring good work :)
Heyyyy.... Mike, here THE FAN!!! HAHAHAHA... Can I suggested an idea? Well, it's true that when you cook inside, smell to food, but well if you have a good machine to the air go outside, much better, because there the rain all the time and in that case, the kitchen inside... But behind the 2 chairs of you and your wife, a kind of transparent wall, because the smoke, the food smelling... And the bed close until at night. See you!
Hey Mike my family and I are , long time fans of you and your dad's content and we love the videos you create. Just wanted to give you a heads up that when trying to find your new channel via search (both on roku/youtube and pc/webpage) it was not showing up. I had to use the link from the TA outdoors video to get to the new channel. Maybe there is a youtube setting you can change to make your new channel visible when people search for "life of mike". Thanks for all you do to entertain us and keep up the great work!
Hi Chuck, thanks for the comment and welcome to the channel! The reason it is not showing up in search results yet is because it is a brand new channel that started with 0 subscribers. Once the channel has more videos and subscribers it will begin to be easier to find in search terms 👍🏻
hi mike, was the screw you had to get to fit the projector to the mount one like this 1/4" to 1/4" Male to Male Threaded Adapter Convertor Screw Camera Tripod Mount? thanks
Good luck with your new channel - I have to ask as I noticed you had inserted hyperlinks to your other media channels - I thought …. What a great idea …. However , HIW DID YOU DO THIS ? when pasting my prepared links from word to default upload in TH-cam - only the words paste and no background hyperlink . You have many many followers and I’m sure no time to answer this - but If you feel like helping a newbie I would be hugely grateful !!! All the best Ruth ( vanlife goodies )
Hi Ruth, I tend to copy the hyperlinks directly from the website in the search bar from the internet. Also, if you put the cursor at the very end of the hyperlink and then press enter, often that will activate the hyperlink to blue so that it is clickable. Hope that helps!
Just about to get a CK campervan as well and stumbled across your channels. Funny you just installed this as we had seen one in a van at CK and my wife decided she wanted one. Can I ask which screen you bought please.
That's really interesting! One question tough: I'm quite often either in another country, either with low cell coverage and I would like to avoid using data. My tablet has all my movies synchronized for offline read, but I would dream to be able to project them like you. Is there a way to stream the content from my tablet to the nebula? Because obviously I don't have some kind of router to have my devices in the same network, and since I'm still watching some contents(while my gf reads some books) directly on the tablet, it would be greatly appreciated to only have to sync content on my tablet.
There are bluetooth projectors out there that would probably work for you. No data or wifi necessary if you already have the movies downloaded to your tablet.
Hi Mike, love your regular channel and this 1. My wife and I are returning from NZ soon after 15 yrs. We love the configuration of your van. Did you buy the van as a blank canvas or fitted out. Who fits these out we want one just like this if you dont mind. Thanks for your videos. Hope you do heaps more about the van itself.
Hi! Glad you like the vids and thanks for commenting. So I bought the van like this. From a campervan and caravan dealer in Hampshire. But they bought the van from a conversion company called Camperking. Camperking essentially by the blank canvas panel van and do the conversion. They actually got in touch with me after seeing my main video and I went up to film their place last week. The next video on this channel will be that one!
Great Idea, I am looking to do the same to my van, one question the link for the screen takes me to "Duronic BPS70/43 (Size: 142 X 107cm)" but this is longer then the one you are using. Is this the correct link> As I doont want to order the wrong one :)
Hi Mike. Help!!! Bought everything in your video and installed the projector and screen. I have an iPhone and just can’t connect to play anything. Campsite has poor Wi-Fi. Googled loads of things but I’m not very technical. Have connected a usb from my iPhone to the capsule. Mirror imaging not working??? No idea what else to try. A lot of money and just can’t get it to work. Hope you can help. Thanks. Denise
Hi Denise sorry to hear it isn’t working. Apologies this comment is late. Did you manage to sort it? I have an iPhone and turn on my personal hotspot (under settings) this then basically makes my phone a wifi device using 4G phone signal. Then I connect the Nebula capsule to my phone hotspot. Hope that helps?
@@LifeofMikeOfficial hi Mike. Yes all sorted with hotspot. Really enjoy watching your reels and enjoying our new life and adventures in our new van. Best wishes for a happy van life x

I've got a Duronic 80'' rollout and it's fantastic value. Will upgrade to their pull down version at some point though, less of a faff.
