Van Camping: A night by the Woods in the VW Campervan

- Join me on a night van camping next to the woods with my dog, where I use my cinema setup with a 50" projector screen in the pop top of my vw campervan. Making my off grid campervan even more ready for van life! I cook some good food on the hob, use the grill, and spend time with my dog in the woods collecting some wild edible food from nature. love that you have a VW camper van - the US is absolutely HORRIBLE at carrying any good VWs - none of the diesels anymore, no vans, no hybrids, none of the really cool ones like Sciroccos, nothing good to speak of. So cool that you have one of the cool new VW vans - I love the setup in there! My best friend from grade school had a sweet maroon Vanagon that was so awesome to cruise around in.

Portable induction stoves are great, they are reasonably efficient, much safer and it bypasses any sort of fire bans or restrictions
Great content as usual Mike. However I had to do a little chuckle. Having gone through the 60s, VW camping to me meant the true VW Kombi van..painted with Peace and love etc and in psychedelic colors. Not a lot in comfort. But the camaraderie made up for it. And sharing a pipe at the end of the day with friends added to the whole thing. But I guess the 21st century is a whole new ball game, isn't it?? Take care and stay safe. Peace brother. ✌
I love the different frijitas chicken, beef, shrimp, pork etc; watching a thunderstorm on that would be like being right in the middle of it without getting soaked, LOL

Love the projector. We have had a very similar set up on the boat for years now. Ours is about 50" too and as space is tight afloat it works really well.

Great video. We always take the slow cooker in the campervan - set it going in the morning, enjoy the great outdoors and have a hearty meal ready when you get back. It has a lid which helps with the clinging smells and has a fairly low power usage

I love your other videos but when i saw the campervan i was like yessss get in.
Hi Mike, we use duvets in our T6, a 40L dry bag works brilliantly for a double size duvet stuff sack. Also keeps them dry when packing up etc. tried a few things and that seems to be the best option for us anyway. Nice van. Love the content.
Big fan of this type of content Mike, I highly recommend the Foresty Forest channel for wilderness-based van life and cooking recipes!

Thank you very much Wolkswaggen! I think that it's a good project to show to the world which is the best model to go outside. You have to think that you don't have shower! And to be careful about the smoke inside (yes, I know, the kind of food not very with smoke)... One night, right, two, same, but one week... no shower and it depens but the smoke in... THE ENGLISH WAGON!!! I LOVE YOUUUUU. 😇

Memory foam mattress toppers are a god send in a camper. Can be rolled up and compressed down much like your pillow
Wonderful episode Mike love the camper van. From an old time camper who's done quite a bit of camping I would recommend a queen size air mattress. Or whichever size would fit up there.
