im not a dancer but these movements really helped my body release so much tension i didn’t even know i had. Im going to do this as a daily routine to get my day started.
I’ve been intimidated to enter dance class mainly cause I don’t feel confident in my movement. But this dance therapy has really helped me express myself and let go of tension

I’ll try this today before dancing cause I really struggle with perfectionism in dancing.I always live in a future and focus too much on choreography rather than just enjoying and feeling the movements and living in present and that caused anxiety and stiffness.I literally can’t relax and feel my movements.

Thank you for sharing with the world. When I was a child I used to dance every day by myself in my room and later going out I used to love to just dance the night away. I lost that energy and natural drive to just move somewhere along the way. It felt good to just move around freeform and take it really easy just now in my livingroom by myself with only the cats watching :) . I've been so frozen in my body with anxiety for years. I think this gentle way if I pace myself will do so much good. Thank you!
To reduce my stress levels after a particularly bad day, I completed three of your dance/movement therapy exercises. I felt so much better! ❤ You should post more TH-cam videos.
Wow, amazing. I’m starting to see that pretty much every healing modality has a big place in my life at least and honestly I feel like it should be in everybody’s life. I’m definitely gonna keep trying to do this because I feel more whole than I have in a while. And just a few minutes ago I really couldn’t breathe while standing up because my diaphragm was so tense

After months of extreme chronic stress I haven’t been able to relax my body at all lately, even while resting my shoulders are up to my ears 😅 I'm so glad I came across your video, you have no idea how much this helped. I feel like I can finally believe in the possibility of feeling present and open to life again, rather than just waiting for the next blow to strike.
