    this is an old video, I know I'm late. At the age of 20 I decided I needed to stop waiting for my parents to love me as they should, but with little access to healthcare I didn't know where to start. I saw that dancing could help release trauma especially in the hips, so I went for it.
    I'm not an emotional person, I'm not in tune with my body, quite clumsy actually, and I've never been able to dance. But this video helped me feel something I haven't felt since I was about 8, my own body. I could feel the energy so well, and I wasn't second guessing my movements like I usually do, I was even able to do a little move I had convinced myself I just couldn't do! I already feel better, and I know this is long, but it could be so much longer. I am truly grateful

    I danced to music of my ancestors and it was very emotional they say we inherit trauma it was like releasing weight I've been carrying around and becoming more comfortable with who I am

      When I learned martial arts at the beginning, I played it before I slept on bed. I was crazy about it and I am afraid I would be insane. Later in, I used music to meditation to clam down, because martial arts is an aggressive skill

    Not even 3 mins in and I literally fell to the ground in tears!!! You really have to take her advice and get into it, eyes closed and just get into it

    I realised I needed movement to get out of the stuck feelings I've been in lately. I came across this video and your good energy + safe space made it easy for me to express my feelings, release it and feel like myself again.

    There has been so much energy in my head lately - overthinking, worrying, ungrounded. I found myself shaking out my head and whipping my hair around a lot. I feel much more grounded now thank you 🙏

    I have never heard of "dance meditation" before. But I'm thinking my body already knew about it. A number of years ago I was at my favorite bar and I went to the floor by myself to dance. There was only a couple of other people so there was plenty of room for me in the corner. I started dancing normally then I was thinking I wished I was fully by myself. My body felt the need to move in way I had never moved before. I closed my eyes and I was "gone". It was incredible!!! All I heard was the music. Everyone in the bar was *gone*!! I opened my eyes at one point a did notice people where watching me. I was a bit disturbed by this. But my spirit was not going to be denied that night! I closed my eyes and continued moving to the music in such unusual way. It was so freeing!!! The next thing I knew I "felt" someone "invading" my dance space. I opened my eyes and found a much younger man "moving" with me!!! I wanted to tell him to go away! But. I am not a rude person by nature so we finished " moving together. It was quite bizarre! For me anyway! I have not danced like that again. But I have never forgotten how "freeing" it was for that short time. I was so relaxed and open! My soul has yearned to do that again. I never realized that there was a name for it till now!!! I will be letting myself go now more often!!! Thank you for this video!!!!

    Thank you...i was stressed with my toddleer..but after dancing..i felt that i am guided.. he is best supportive loving joyous baby..i dont need to worry..everything is taken care of..i am blessed..

    I can’t express my thanks for this practice. I felt that I inhabited my body, that I came home after a long long time away. I’ve been alienated from and disgusted by my body for so long and it was so freeing to feel that I don’t have to live that way. I’ve had such a hard time trusting my body and myself because of that. During these movements I feel I was really able to just let my body guide me and not judge it, and it felt so good. I’m hoping to continue this journey of healing from here on out.

    I felt a lil scared to express my self at first, but gradually built up the confidence to just allow myself to just be and benefit from this awesome moment! I was imagining myself pulling out the limited thoughts, anxiety, anger , sad ness, low confidence and all emotions that been inside and decided to let it go and it was no longer apart of me. I am trying to find way to heal myself and open myself up to new things that are good for me. I think I will be incorporating this into my everyday life thank you for this i appreciate you 🌈💫🔮✨🌻

    I’ve never felt comfortable moving my body but this morning I found this video by chance and I let loose in the living room, it took me a while to let go completely, but when I did there was tears and sounds and I let my body do whatever it needed to do. Incredibly powerful and what I didn’t know I needed in this exact moment. Thank you 🙏🏻💜

    Thank you for a much needed connection to myself through dance. I have been going every Sunday for many years with a large dance community. I miss it so much since the pandemic. I dance at home to music I find on TH-cam from all around the world. This is my way of staying balanced and true to myself.

    I've been looking for ways to do body work and release stagnated emotions and find a way to come back to my body. I did this with my eyes closed . Emotions welled up inside of me (I couldn't identify all of them as I disassociate as a coping mechanism) I started to cry. Thank so much for making this channel.       Shir Levi I’ve done this 3 times now and I’m going to make it a regular thing! Love it! I love that dancing is life running through your body. When I close my eyes doing this I like to think that I’m floating in space/air and just forget everything around me and just feel the movement and music.

    Oh Shir... THIS.. comes at the very perfect time of my journey.
    I didn't pass my driving license, my body feels tense and painful, I have a capoeira spectacle coming up, my exams.. trying to not stress out. But this dance meditation was so powerful, I can't describe how amazing I feel inside and out. I am gonna practice this as many times as I am gonna need it, and I am so grateful; thanks you. I love you and I love the magical energy that is sent when your voice and precious words meets my ears.
    I would love to do other guided meditations with you, can't wait!
    Also, do you use other music for this practice or do you stick with the same style?

      I remember when I failed my driving test too, twice actually, I wish I was introduced to meditation back then as I just didn't know how to manage my stress and allowed it to completly take over me and that was a huge part why I failed but anyways keep being determined and you'll get it eventually and it will all be an experience you'll look back on and learn from.     Thank you so much for sharing this video! It was suggested to me to use dance to release emotions, but I wasn't exactly sure how to go about it. This was perfect! Definitely subscribing. You may wish to move the ads to the start/end so that it doesn't interrupt the flow of the meditation. TH-cam will sometimes add these in the middle of older videos.

    Just tried it! So powerful and love the different music combo. I went from feeling the fear and frustration, to feel the love for me from God. Love the fact you intentionally remind us the invite what we want into our life after releasing.

    That was fabulous!!! I haven't had a private space to myself for a few years... I till don't, but today I looked up moving medication and I ent for it! Dance has been a while part of my entire life, and I've lost touch with that fierce, graceful, sensual side of myself. Thank you for this dance! That song by Ooy is my fave song! We use it on our channel all the time, especially when e ere travelling in Ecuador! So that borough warm memories & release as I knew all the beats.
