Yes! You have to watch the series! You said your favorite genres are horror, action together? This is literally the best thing to ever represent that. Psychological horror with action. It is so incredibly deep and almost poetic not to mention the character development is some of the best I’ve ever experienced. They pull absolutely no punches in how brutal and grey it can get, the setting and plot is genius too. You really have to watch it you will love it so much. When you do decide to watch it the order goes: Tokyo ghoul, Tokyo Ghoul A, Tokyo Ghoul:re part 1, and then Tokyo Ghoul:re part 2. There is also like a prequel that takes place before the main character and it’s called Tokyo ghoul jack which is only subbed unlike the main series which is both dubbed and subbed. Also to point out, if you want to watch the prequel I’d suggest you watch it after the main series because the character that it is centered around is only introduced later in the series.

Nothing beats white silence by TK. That song is a scary song. It puts you in your feels, you suddenly start contemplating , self introspecting. That song makes you vulnerable. I was in the self reflection zone when I heard that song for the first time.
This song made me fall in love with his music. His performance of Last eye and moment A rhythm (full version) are also some of those songs that touch so deeply. The first one brought tears to my eyes, and while listening to the second one I felt a strange fear.

I'd really recommend Signal, a song also performed by TK which is the opening to the anime 91 Days. Also you really need to check out the band in which he performs (Ling Tosite Sigure). They did the openings to the first two seasons of Psycho Pass. What I'd also recommend would be Coldrain. I think right now they are my favourite japanese band and if you'd like to check them out I'd reccomend the songs We're not alone, which is the opening to Rainbow, and Mayday, which is the second opening to Fire Force. And well yeah I just wanted to say that i really like your reactions. I love seeing other people sharing their fun in hearing music.
Tk has done another "the first take" performance whis the song "copy light" and you should definitely check it out even if it's not recommended a lot, a lot of people don't know this song but it's awesome and the performance is crazy
You should listen to the live version of Boukan from Ling Tosite Sigure(his original band). They always play this song at the end of their concert and as the lifelong fan of them I whole heartdly reccomend you this song. It resonates with me the most and shaped me the way I am know.

Obviously as you may have figured out already that's the name of the band he plays in. TK stands for Toru Kitajima and he uses this moniker for his solo career. The band is very much worth checking out too, they have some really melodic and experimental songs, quite reminiscent in different ways of what TK produces for his solo project. Also completely agree with you, japan is a golden mine of music, a well of music that never dries. There's just too much, both old (going as far back as to the early '70's) and new, encompassing all genres though rock, or maybe I should say, real instruments are still going pretty strong in mainstream music over there as opposed to what we usually hear over on our side of the world.

The first Season might be really great, but all after this is chaos, because they missed out on a lot of the original Manga-Plot (I really don't know why though). I would rather say to watch Vinland Saga: Quite dark, epic fights, beautiful music and openings, great storytelling and deep emotions ;)

Check out 'Hiroyuki Sawano's ost'. Every famous anime has a song composed by him. Hiroyuki Sawano is considered a god in the anime industry. Even 'Attack on Titan' has used Hiroyuki's song for almost every fight. You really are missing a lot by not listening to Hiroyuki's songs.

It isn't a recent thing but they have a hoard of great bands that've been there this whole time. The Gazette was the first Japanese band I heard then I dove right in check them out sometime. id like to recommend one of their underrated song "melt", its a collab song with suis from yorushika, they both sounded AMAZING together. Also, yorushika is a rock duo group, they have their own storyline and most of their songs have a very very deep meaning behind it. I think you will like yorushika 👍
His single work is great, but his band work with ling tosite sigure is also amazing. Personal favorite of mine is "Illusion is mine", but a bit more unknown i think.

I think you have gotten more than enough good recommendations for TK, so I won't add to that lol. I still think you should react to The GazettE, they did an opening for one of my favorite series called Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler), and the song is called "SHIVER". Two of my other favorite songs by them are "Guren" and "RED".
If you're interested in more songs from TK I HIGHLY recommend these. I definitely think you would like both of them. "As long as I love" Music Video or "Copy light" from the First Take Both songs are beautiful and His vocals definitely shine on both. You should check out a band called Co Shu Nie and their song "Asphyxia," they also have a style very much their own. In fact they actually toured with T.K.
Man, TK and Ling Toshite Shigure have some amazing songs. As some people already did I would recommend Signal, the opening for 91 days and the opening for PET which they made. If you don't mind reacting to some of their songs that aren't used in anime some good ones are Die Meets Hard, Future Tone Bender and As Long As I Love.
G.O.T Games....Tk from Ling Toshite Sigure (Ling To, Shi Tear, See Grr rare). I think that's how it's pronounced. I recommend the song 'Signal' it's an anime op from '91 Days' and one of TK's best in my opinion. However I think you need to listen to the full version as the ending is always cut off. Psycho Pass "abnormalize' and 'enigmatic feeling' are also good hits. 'P.S Red' is the theme song for Japan's 'Spiderman into the Spider Verse' Trailer. I suppose I'd recommend 'Bump of Chicken' or 'Co Shu Nie' for other anime bands you might like.

Check out 'Hiroyuki Sawano's ost'. Every famous anime has a song composed by him. Hiroyuki Sawano is considered a god in the anime industry. Even 'Attack on Titan' has used Hiroyuki's song for almost every fight. You really are missing a lot by not listening to Hiroyuki's songs.

It isn't a recent thing but they have a hoard of great bands that've been there this whole time. The Gazette was the first Japanese band I heard then I dove right in check them out sometime. Dir en Grey, Coldrain, Mejibray, Nocturnal Bloodlust, LTS, are some of my go to bands

This has nothing to do with the anime, but I would like to recommend The Warning. I met them with the collaboration they did with Webtoon, for the webcomic I'm the grim reaper.
They are three Mexican sisters, and they are between 17 and 22 years old. They are still young, but from my point of view, they have already become the best rock band today.

id like to recommend one of their underrated song "melt", its a collab song with suis from yorushika, they both sounded AMAZING together. Also, yorushika is a rock duo group, they have their own storyline and most of their songs have a very very deep meaning behind it. I think you will like yorushika 👍
His single work is great, but his band work with ling tosite sigure is also amazing. Personal favorite of mine is "Illusion is mine", but a bit more unknown i think.

Both songs are beautiful and His vocals definitely shine on both. Copy light has very similar to his Unravel "First take" performance that you reacted to and "As long as I love" has a very strong upbeat yet gentle flow. Keep up with the videos, great job man!

Man, TK and Ling Toshite Shigure have some amazing songs. As some people already did I would recommend Signal, the opening for 91 days and the opening for PET which they made. If you don't mind reacting to some of their songs that aren't used in anime some good ones are Die Meets Hard, Future Tone Bender and As Long As I Love.

I recommend the song 'Signal' it's an anime op from '91 Days' and one of TK's best in my opinion.
However I think you need to listen to the full version as the ending is always cut off.
Psycho Pass "abnormalize' and 'enigmatic feeling' are also good hits.
'P.S Red' is the theme song for Japan's 'Spiderman into the Spider Verse' Trailer.

Survive said the prophet is such a nice band in the anime world, I recommend you checking out the vinland saga opening 1 its made by them and the full version is even better

PLEASE do "White silence" by TK! It´s such an incredible piece with so many layered feelings and emotions, my favorite song by him and that says a lot given all the bangers he produces. Also, there´s an acoustic version of Unravel that´s more than worth checking out!

It gives you an entirely different atmosphere and you truly feel exactly as the name implies, not to mention the other singer, the lady is so great too. Everything in his music is just so phenomenal on connecting the listener to the darker and painful emotions while drawing out so much beauty from it at once. His is incredibly one of a kind.
