  • Motorcycling is passion. Dynamics. A pleasure that you can hardly top but can make safer and more comfortable without compromising the thrill of the ride - with motorcycle technology from Bosch.
Bosch provides riders with a reassured feeling of safety by creating motorcycle system technologies that remain unnoticed until the moment it is needed - so that the thrill of motorcycling remains just as unique and exciting as it's meant to be.

The biggest problem for motorcyclists in the United States is the lack of motorcyclists. As a result Car drivers have a poor sense of how to share the road with motorcyclists and laws tend to poorly reflect motorcycling realities. Any technology that opens up riding to more riders is good for motorcycling. Well done, Bosch!

It is SO amazing and encouraging to see that people actually DO care about motorcycle safety like they car about car safety. If we can keep this up and invest more time and research in motorcycles it would help save lives and bring more people on board to such a fun and more environmentally-friendly (if single rider) mode of transport!

Just picked up a bike with traction control and it's great! I hope smart traction control and cornering ABS is more popular when I upgrade again!

GunsCarsBikeCigars did you install this system after buying the bike or did it came with the bike from the factory? I would love to install this abs on my 2006 yamaha xt 660r but don’t have much info on where to get it done.

Riding a CB500x with crash bars+fog lights with a total of up to 210kg ..hill assist seems like a miracle(especially if you are riding with a passenger)

When is all this going to happen across all manufactures

  • @antoniosvidakis

It is very impressive. I wonder if is intended to be manufactured as an aftermarket component too for a universal fit on various motorcycles. And it seems very powerful, have you considered making use of this as an emergency brake or use it pushing the motorcycle down to add extra traction on very hard braking situations?

Thank you for your interest in our products. Each of our ABS systems is developed in close cooperation with the motorcycle manufacturers in order to address the specific requirements and demands of the bike. Therefore both systems, ABC and MSC, which contains the lean and pitch angle dependent control in addition, cannot be retrofitted and have to be adapted to the specific bike during the bike development process.

Great. But if you want to live long and ride far - learn to ride without helpers and only after buy a motorcyle with all these systems for your comfort.

For those of us that want to ride but don't have the comprehensive capability to do so.
Why not make the thing an automatic while your at it?
Learn to control your bike before you hit the streets.

Oh, gee. I guess all those MotoGP riders are losers because they have traction control to try to prevent highsides. Duh?

Typical comment from someone who falsely believes they are are elite rider and/or impervious to random bad luck. Lots of gravestones memorializing similarly mentally handicapped people who shared same sentiments and probably more of same into future. Its okay by me as long as you do not become permanently disabled and parasitic burden to society. I appreciate when the rules of Darwin performs its best work on the stupid people wandering the planet. Hopefully this happens before they can breed more similarly dumb offspring.

so you took all the awesome stuff from the motorcycle and basicley all you have left is a normal bicycle whit an engine now. lol! xD i know the saftley is inportant but come on! motorcycles arent made for kids , you have to think and andorstand what you are driving before you even considering driving it. thats why its awesome after you learn the way to controll sutch beasts! thats the thrill of it all lol , the cruising part is just the start!

EliteH1 These systems could save hundreds of lives every year. Not everyone rides like Marc Marquez. Are you suggesting that only those at his level should be allowed to ride the streets? I've been riding dirt since I was 12 years old and road since I was 16. I would contend that in my prime I was a very proficient motorcycle rider. That said, I welcome these advancements in technology. They would have helped avoid a crash I sustained at 50MPH when I hit oil left on the road by some car that left the area before I arrived on the scene.

EliteH1 this safety systems are intended for emergency situations. If you are a skilled rider this electronic aids will not interfiere with your riding.

Update. I have these systems on my new bike. I’m definitely faster because I know they are there. You can push limits with a safety net.
Hi grew up with no electronics, but these don’t interfere with your riding until you overstep the mark. Then rather than crashing/hurting yourself you carry on. You can also adjust the electronics to what you want from them and turn them all off if you think your better than the high limit the computer works at!!
