How to make EASY Iced Coffee at Home with Nespresso Vertuo Plus

- How to make easy iced coffee with your Nespresso coffee maker. Here's my recipe that I used for the video. Comment below your favorite flavor of iced coffee!

Ingredients:
1 Nespresso Pod
Sweetener of choice (to taste or 1/2 tbsp.)
Milk of choice (3-4 tbs. or to taste)
1 cup of ice
Optional: 1 tsp. of syrup (I used caramel syrup)
Directions:
Make coffee with nespresso machine. Place in fridge for a few minutes to let it cool. Mix in syrup and sweetener. Froth the milk on the cold setting (once again, this is optional, but I think it tastes way better frothed), pour in milk, mix, and finally place ice cubes in coffee. Enjoy! It's so easy :)

Thanks so much for a fun and quick lesson on iced coffee. We have had our Nespresso for about 15 months now and I bought pods for iced coffee last year and then….just didn’t try it because I wasn’t sure how to make a good cup…..and here you are!! Hope you have successfully finished your nursing degree by now since this video is 2 years old. I am retired nurse….did my 45 years so happy to pass the baton to you younger ladies!

Tastes better than Starbucks! I froth the syrup with the milk. Try it out!
my favorite recipe is either a vanilla custard pie pod or a golden caramel pod, i put it in the freezer until it is chilly, and then i will add ice to keep it cold. from there i will use the nespresso milk frother (on the cold setting with the lid off to make it froth better) and add starbucks' caramel macchiato creamer. if i feel like it, i may add some actual caramel to make it just like starbucks caramel macchiato! :)

I had iced coffee with oat milk not too long ago, and it literally fills your soul! It's so good! If you don't mind other tyoes of milk, then I recommend it!

Does it froth ok with the oat milk?
It does, but I recommend the barista oat milk! I go to my local Raplhs, and it's usually on the shelf milk section (not in the fridge).
1st, you are amazing! 2nd, i have a suggestion for milk. Fairlife “filtered” milk makes a helluva froth, hot or cold. Fairlife whole milk tastes best, but the 2% & 1% are excellent too.

I just fill a cup with ice and pour the coffee I made diluting any sugar. That dissolves some of the ice and dilutes the coffee just enough that it's perfect.

No need to measure. There is a line on the inside of the frother. I really like the hazelnut vetruo pod and caramel. If you like a more flavored coffee use flavored creamer.

I always have an issue with hot coffee and the ice melting and diluting it. How long do you let it cool down? Seems like you’ve done a lot of trial and error 🙂
Haha, yes! There’s two ways to fix that: make coffee flavored ice cubes or pour the cold milk (or creamer) in your cup first and then make the coffee on top. That’s what I’ve been doing recently, and it’s so much better! Otherwise, I normally wait about 10 minutes because I’m impatient. 😂
