I could almost smell them baking! 😄 I love Pecan Sandies and I also love Cashew Sandies. In fact, I love most nuts! Someone brought chocolate chip cookies to one of the many Thanksgiving dinners my sister and I went to. I ate one and realized I couldn't stop. ☺️ I took a small bag of them home and finished them that night. 😐 We returned to that relative's house a couple of days later. I was so pleased they had some left so I ate a couple more while we were visiting. It's my sister's relative and she visited while I ate cookies. 😋 But with you baking cookies today, it just made me want them even more. 😉 I like my chocolate chip cookies with pecans or walnuts. I'll check my freezer and decide which one I'll use. 😁 But first let me tell you the desserts I've had over the end of this week starting Thursday. Carrot cake, chocolate chip cookies, cherry pie and I made your Pecan cheesecake pie and everyone loved it! ❣️ And all of this was at one relative's house. 😳 Next relative; Pecan Pie and pumpkin pie. 🥧 Then on Saturday, our last Thanksgiving dinner just consisted of brownies. 🤗 And on the first dinner with all the desserts, I just had a couple of cookies and took a piece of all the other desserts home, to eat in private. ☺️ Someone said calories don't count on Thanksgiving. I'm not sure that applies when you have 4 Thanksgiving dinners. 🥺 Not all in one day but close enough. 😉 I'm having physical therapy and currently doing pool therapy. When I go next Tuesday I'm going to ask the therapist if I can do laps to see if I can work off some of those dinners. 😉 Thanks for sharing another great recipe! Can't wait to try them! 🥰

What I love with rolled cookies is that you can slice and bake how many you want, and rewrap the rest of the dough. That way if you only want a couple (not the whole log); and freeze the remaining dough. Consequently, if you get in the mood for a couple of cookies, you can pull the dough out cut a few more. This is nearly exactly how I make my Mom’s Pecan Crescents…same basic recipe, only I form the chilled dough into about 1 in. thick and 2 in wide little rolls, then bend them, then bake them. After, the part that is a little different is that they are rolled in powder sugar. Heavenly, and your way of making them looks amazing, too!!! Just a little better than the Keebler brand, lol! Love making Christmas cookies, I need to get my list together!!!
