Thank you for using real ingredients. I’m in Australia and we don’t have a lot of the convenient ingredients that you do in the USA. Things like cool whip, crescent rolls and marshmallow fluff are not something we can find in our grocery stores. I lived in MO for 12 years and i miss all those conveniences. Thanks for another delicious recipe .

I’ve made Bob’s Peppermint Pie for many years. I put it in a homemade cookie crust and use a springform pan. I’ve also used jello peppermint pudding when they’ve offered it seasonally mixed with cream cheese and cool whip. I have no recipe for it, but it’s very easy and tasty. I’m going to try this recipe but I think I’ll double the filling and use Bob’s soft peppermints. This is much easier than Bob’s original recipe.

I made this for Xmas and my nibblings loved it. We don't have the pre-made pie crust in Australia but I noticed that other recipes use crushed Oreos with melted butter. It was amazing
My late husband would make the peppermint ice cream pies for the kids at church at Christmas

I'd take the candycanes or whatever is used and pummel them to a powder. I don't need to break anymore teeth. Hope we make this for Christmas.
I have always wanted to make a candy cane pie, but never have because I’m the only one in the family who would eat it. My husband watched this with me and suggested I make it and freeze individual slices just for me. I think this would be ok to freeze? Looks so easy and delicious 🤤
Yes, you can freeze in individual portions.

I used to live in Lancaster California and they had peppermint marshmallows peppermint marshmallows if I make that and put them in marshmallows in a little bit of peppermint flavoring everything good I mean I mean good

I will definitely be trying this for Christmas, one of my favorite things is a peppermint milkshake I’m wondering if a couple of chocolate chips in there wouldn’t hurt and also wondering if I could use marshmallow fluff if it would be easier or just a meltdown marshmallows. You're safer just melting the marshmallows, I'm doubting the texture using the fluff.

Instead of the red food coloring try a raspberry Jell-O powder mix or a peppermint powdered Jello mix it does the same thing
