In addition, they ought to throw in levels inspired by the concept art in the Medal of Honor bonus features like the night assault on the beach or a second train level, etc.

What I hate about Alyx is that it was soo insanely good that everything else VR is Pong compared to it. At this point, I just play Alyx mods because I cannot go backwards to other games.

I just bought moh 2010 for my ps3. Its not like the greatest game ever but man it really is good for what they set out to do. Love the story. Characters. Setting.

@Freesmart what does EA have to do with it ? it wasnt out early, it doesnt have lootboxes/p2w mechanics or forced multiplayer. This mess is completely on the developing team, they clearly did not know what they were doing and how to approach VR game.
The size, the horrible graphics with the ridiculous hardware requirements, this game was like a dream in a developers head and really couldn’t find a way to do it using VR
They should still be applauded doing so many different things and for the most part succeeding. Innovative fps title, taking on Battle royale, a dark souls star wars title, and a vr shooting game. Still give us TF3 already.
I need the perfect WW2 VR Shooter that's actually huge battles, such as the Normandy Landings with a bunch of people on both sides fighting each other.
I don't own a VR headset, but I thought this game would be cool. I haven't watched the video yet, unfortunately, but I know my little boy wouldn't lie to me. He never does.
Dropping the apple core causing the mission to fail just makes me laugh lol. Imagine being a German janitor during WWII, its a normal day, the commandant walk by and pats you on the back congratulating on a fine job, and then you do it. You drop an apple core right next to your mop bucket. All hell breaks lose, every German grabs his gun and mows you down. As we all know, dropping an apple is a sign of you being a spy... even though you have been working there for your entire life.
Why can’t EA just make a new, genuine MOH without any gimmick like VR? It really wouldn’t be that hard to do, it’s been done before time and time again.
I was really hyped for this, I couldn’t wait to throw pots at nazis, but I didn’t get it at launch because of its price, and I’m sad but also kinda glad I didn’t.
The problem with this channel is that renn has very different thinking then the majority of the population who plays game so his possible enjoyable audience is narrowed down immensely he deserves more views but his audience is too slim and thats why I respect this channel because he so easily could expand his audience by lying but he doesn't and sticks to his opinion and thats very respectable
this is why i really hate youtube they just reward laziness, while favorite little boy is here creating good content and youtube doesn't endorse a great channel

Everything you said is spot on. My favorite bug in the game is that for some users, the player character is constantly changing height. In some cut scenes I'll be standing head-level with the other characters, during other cut scenes and most gameplay, I'll be about 5 foot tall looking everyone in the chest. The only way to fix is to set yourself to seated mode, but this causes other issues like floating a foot off the ground and doesn't fix the fact that everything is scaled incorrectly. I even found a developer post on reddit where they claim that player size is incredibly difficult to adjust in VR. Interesting because no other VR game has this problem.

Great review as always, you really knocked it out of the park with the intro. But still it goddamn hurt seeing the pre-launch news of the system requirements come in, to seeing the launch videos come in, to seeing the huge amount of glitches that I've never saw in a single review at all. Medal of Honor and VR gaming as a whole really deserved better, I can only hope Valve is working on another project after Alyx.
The soundtrack in this MoH game is so good because it is Michael Giacchino doing it. He is an absolute pro at composing orchestral pieces, which is probably why he has worked on 8 of these games in total

I love Respawn, but we all have to admit that Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond was a flop. Too expensive and too antiquated.
