I made this and it turned out great. I only made 1/2 of the recipe.Added more sugar according to the previous reviewes. I had a circular pyrex dish. So I squeezed dark chocolate and white chocolate mixtures in circles and did the surface design. My cheesecake got cracked while chilling maybe I should have used less baking time since I made only half of the recipe. I also didn't have coffee liquor or coffee essence. So I used only the instant coffee. But it turned out great. I am going to make it again with coffee liquor. Thanks.

I added vanilla yogurt or sour cream, but have never added corn starch. I will try the corn starch next. Such an easy recipe for such a great dessert or even with morning coffee or tea.

This cake needs lot of confidence to bake because of baking each layer seprately may lead to over baking of other layers.And i never saw eating cake with ice tea in combination🤣.But at end it was a best cake ,looks royal but difficult because of baking stages.👍tumbs up for you

I made this cheesecake in May , the exact way the recipe said and as I suspected the base was not pleasant . baking each layer after adding to the pan did work but the base ( and I used the same biscuits ) was hard but rather rubbery , the consistency was not enjoyable . Yes I will make it again but I will use something else for the base and try it using my freezing technique with each layer. Other than that it's a very tasty recipe.

I don't understand why you put each layer in the oven for 30 minutes , isn't the cookie base going to get harder and harder each time even with the water bath? When I make a layered cheesecake , I freeze each layer as I put it in the pan , put the first one in then freeze , then repeat so they don't blend with each other in the oven. Just curious

No you take it out of the freezer , then add the next layer put it back in the freezer, just until set because you don't want it frozen solid, then add the 3rd layer and repeat . Set stove to 400F while this are in the freezer. After all 3 layers are set I put in the oven for 5 minutes at 400 then turn down to 250F and let it slowly bake , test it at the 35 minute mark. I very rarely use a water bath unless a specific recipe calls for it . When the cheesecake is done turn the oven off and open the door slightly this will help your cheesecake to not crack.
