You're like the only one putting out these kind of custom and semi-custom overview videos, so I can't complain too much. But I'd LOVE to see similar videos going over the internals, especially with things like barrel fitment and how some of the higher round count guns are wearing in. Everyone's 1911 looks great fresh out the case. 1911's with perfect wear and metal contact are truly a cut above. It's like pulling the valve covers on a engine that's been well maintained with frequent oil changes where you see the very light honey patina on the internals.
4:45 slide to frame fit on the end is horrendous, slide sits a good 1mm forward on the frame and isn't perfectly flush 6:10 back of mainspring housing is not remotely flush with grip, it's got a decent lip right where the smooth and golf balls meet 6:14 those gaps on the bottom of the mainspring housing is "large" for a supposed custom gun 10:18 massive gap on the back side of the magazine release catch, at least .75mm if not 1mm 10:24 holy hell what is the gaps between the slide, ejector, frame are atrocious, the gap around the extractor is a bit tighter, but still...
@@bobby_cee Laugh all you want, but asides from the quality of the new shit that was added, he fixed none of the flaws on the original pistol. Just a complete lack of attention to detail. Especially if he's going to clean up the original stirrup cut, at least line it up with the frame, but just went full lazy. If you want to see a properly built high end custom gun go get your hands on a SVI/Atlas/Chambers. None of these flaws would be considered acceptable on a $4k gun let alone how much you spent on this.
@@fast.splits.dismiss.hits. Atlas and SVI? Jesus… you have no clue what you’re talking about. I own 8 Chambers guns bro… you couldn’t give me an SVI or Atlas. Have you handled any of those? Please let me know what guns you actually own, what makers, and where I can see pics or videos of them. At least that would give you a small amount of credibility. Let me know where the stainless guns are that you have as well…. I’ll wait because you aren’t gonna show a damn thing because you don’t have anything near that level... Lol. Awesome. Bought on the secondary market? That's the epitome of custom 1911 builds 👍👍👍
Wait until you see the next few videos:)
@@bobby_cee I'm ready 😊
@Bobby Cee What a beauty!!!
How’s it compare to your chambers or marvel?
Nice pistol. Why would someone sell that after waiting so long to get?
Life happens man… sometime people get into a jam, etc….
