That joint is fire 🔥
Bobby cee back!!
@@nopejnope4444 hope you enjoyed it!
Masterpiece of a 1911. How has the DLC held up? What is your opinion of DLC vs Nitride (what Novak’s uses)? Thank you
@@HammerK99 the DLC on this pistol is as perfect as it is in the video. I like DLC, although it’s not a prefect finish. I am not a fan of nitride. To much to type on why I dislike.
Rarely am I taken aback by such beautiful work. This is one of the most beautiful 1911s around because of all the thoughtful upgrades. The reverse bevel on the bottom of the mainspring housing is awesome. I wish more were like that.
@@HammerK99 yes… Ned is a master!
Can you still find Ammo?
Hand loads bud!
Or you can help me get this
I would give anything to see another regulator at 6k haha 🤣 oh those were the days..
@@freightshakerclassicxl2728 lol…. Those days are over. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one at that price, even new when they came out
Jason's a great guy.
I've never seen a custom 1911 lightened in such a manner. Thanks for sharing.
Ned is doesn’t do “normal” things… the guy is truly one of a kind!
@@bobby_cee I bet this pistol weighs next to nothing and shoots like a dream.
I thought that front sight was staked and soldered. Great dovetail blending
I absolutely love everything about this pistol.
Absolutely stunning pistol.
@@williammatthews2948 thank you… i absolutely love this pistol and I’m not a commander guy.
@@bobby_cee I haven't owned one since the early 90's but I'm thinking about picking one up soon and duplicating your Jason Burton Combat Colt Commander.
@ Jason does fantastic work!
Great build what was the estimated cost on this build? been looking at his work.
@@taylorbrown3286 I would give Jason a call directly for pricing. Each 1911 is different requiring different amounts of work.
Where can i find Jason Burton?
@@rocketlauncher1504 call Jason and ask him!
I was fortunate to buy 1 of Bob's orginal 22 conversions unit 1 and unit 2 back in the early 2000s and it is amazing shoots way better than my ability.
Beautiful 🤩
@@ChrisMarshall1978007 thx:)
You have the greatest 1911 collection I’ve ever seen. Amazing piece.
Thanks, appreciate the comment!
Beautiful work
Thx:)
It gets no better than a bespoke Commander by Jason.
This may be my favorite of qll of your guns. Do you still own it? How does it shoot?
I do not own this one any longer. It was sold to a collector friend of mine. It’s an amazing creation and was my first Ned gun. I do miss it but as you will notice what I say in almost all my videos… I’m a shooter, in shoot my firearms and use them. This firearm is idea for hunting. It was toning to carry, and not practical to shoot regularly. That said, I helped a friend out by allowing him to add a Ned gun to his collection, and the funds recovered from this were used to purchase Tox, which I have a video posted about! Thanks for the comment and stopping by!
Jesus. This might be the best one I’ve ever seen. JB is at the top of the mountain at this time
That's the 1911 Batman would be proud to carry. Lol.
As someone that absolutely loves the 1911 platform and that's carried a 1911 almost every day for 35 years, I wish I could afford a top-of-the-line 1911. Maybe one of these days. Until then, thanks for sharing. Take care.
I really hope someone brings the Grizzly back into production
Can you even find Ammo?
So a bunch of rednecks in the woods? Where’s the cousin kissers? Here that are sir
How aggressive are those grips in your hand?
@@joefuentez7232aggressive enough to work! I’m not an over textured kind of person but these are shaped and done right. I’m not sure if Jason took them down a bit or the way they are is they way they came.
It's absolutely beautiful.
@@williammatthews2948 thanks!
Awesome Colt !
Thx!
Wow , I've had my mark I for 34 years and all the things I don't like about it have been addressed in that gun . Ned must be a magician . Holy smoke , what a beauty .
Can you still find Ammo
The White Out on the front sight is a custom touch to.
Dudes gonna drop that beautiful gun on the concrete.
@@joefuentez7232 nah…
You have an amazing collection.
Thank you!
I enjoyed this video. I do all my 1911 customization, file work, fitting and refinishing and the level of precision that these guns show speak volumes about Chambers Custom. These are worth every penny
Light fighter vs the yc2-newyc3
@@xBobby what about it?!
@@bobby_ceewhich do you prefer, I’m leaning towards the light fighter when the books open.
@@bobby_cee I’m carrying right now a staccato c2 with a x300 so I’m thinking the light fighter will be about the same size as it
@@xBobby I’ll always be a single stack guy, but any of the CCP double stacks are great!
@@xBobby adding…. The Light Fighter and YC2 are limited runs and not an option to order. The CC is similar to the LF and the YC3 will be kinda like the YC2 just double stack. I’ll be honest I’ve been away from any real news from CCP lately so I can’t comment on what’s coming out etc. I would say to just make sure what you want will be available! Whatever you choose will be great:)
Spettacolare 🥇🥇🥇😍
How do you get access to all of these custom weapons most of these guys aren’t even taking work
Two answers… networking buying used pistols and patience which also means many years of waiting.
@@bobby_cee maybe I’ll get there one day I buy a bunch of really nice shit but maybe one day I’ve only been collecting for around 10 years. I’ve got a lot to learn.
😮😮👍👍 VERYGOOD sudyord ⚡⚡🔥🔥 I from THAILAND 🇨🇷 patlung..5. 7. 67😊😊
I bet this would be a cool pin gun
Sweet weapon man, I rebuilt my rock island after 8k rounds of abuse. I replaced everything with Wilson and Ed brown stuff. Had Novak cuts done. Love the front of yours that is very smooth looking man.
These guns are awesome! They were a big thing in the 1970/80's with competitors and some cops in California. There was a company called Cake-Davis in Berkeley California (circa 1970) where gunsmiths made these guns originally, mostly for PPC shooters. A gunsmith in Woodland California who worked for Cake-Davis back in the day still does these gun/barrel conversions on Smith and Ruger revolvers. Smythons and Cougars can still be made for discriminating shooters who have the $500 smackers (cheap!) to make their very own hybrid. Guns can still be made on an adjustable sight K frame (Model 15, 19 or similar or a Security Six/GP-100 Ruger in .38 spl or 357) Smiths and Ruger base guns are all you need along with a Python barrel.
Stunning piece thanks for sharing!
Thank you! Cheers!
Beautiful pistol man. I'm on 1911 addicts. You have a stellar collection.
Thanks bud! Appreciate the comment etc!
Definitely the nicest LAR Grizzly I have seen. Ned blew this one out of the park, I just wish he would've done something different with the trigger guard in my opinion. Would love to get my hands on even a base MARK I someday. Enjoy it!
What’s the finish on this bad boy?
It’s Cerakote.
OOOH AAAH.
I don’t think a skeletonized hammer really period correct but it doesn’t matter, that thing is a masterpiece. I love the classic styling and DLC finish
Good call out on that!
Only thing I would change is the delta hammer for a ring hammer.
Jason is a God in the 1911 game. Check out Nick from valor precision. He is a hidden gem. He focuses on military combat 1911s clones but does all 1911s. He was a marine corp armorer. He build me a springfield meusoc clone that goes toe to toe with any of my full customs.
And I'm Jesus,
I have done 2 of Bobs classes in Crete. 1st one I did was a government 45 in Craig’s/Snyders customs school house. 2nd was a 4.3in Marvel Model I did at bobs home with 2 piece cone barrel. I own multiple nighthawks, atlas, staccatos, Infinities, and sadly none of them come close to reliability and accuracy of the ones I built under Bobs tutelage. It upsets me how much people in the industry don’t give Bob credit for his designs, ideas, etc. to include Joe Chambers.
Sweet
