Sorry mate, but your frenzied rip-out of that shower cubicle, was the funniest thing I've seen for a long time, made all the funnier by the sped up footage and sound effects...hope you don't think I'm taking the piss, really cheered me up after a hard day...keep up the good work with the videos, you're the most tenacious tradesman I've ever seen...x
Thanks for the support mate, I did make a bit of a meal of the shower screen to be honest, they are good jobs for taking your frustrations out on though I find
Love jobs like that Tom, no real pressure from customers wanting it done while they're using it makes it even better. Looking forward to seeing the rest of it as it progresses. Thank you😊.
Thanks for the support as always Hugh, it does make a big difference when it's not the only toilet in the house, I've just done one like that, having to get the toilet back and working
always remember carrying out a big rad with a mate upside down like you. he suddendly dropped his end and all the black iron oxide jetted out the open vent all over customers carpet! its almost impossible to remove! 🤣🤣
It's an absolute nightmare when things like that happen, plumb thumbs and carpet protector have got me out of trouble a few times, thanks for watching as always Pete
Hi Tom, that looked like it was a nice install job back in the day, apart from the 8mm microbore. You certainly got that bathroom stripped out quickly, that looks to be a nice job to work on. I noticed you are almost up to 10k subscribers now, doing great and well deserved. I look forward to the next film, as always take care Tom. 👍👍👍
I look forward to seeing the end result Tom, hopefully you get some more flow through the CH pipework. Thanks for all the effort you put into your channel. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Hi Tom, I’ve been watching your videos for a few months now and really enjoying them. I’m intrigued about the business set up you have as you do not seem to mention that side of things in your videos often. Perhaps you do not wish to share that side of things online. But if you do it would be good to see a video of how your business work. Do you have an office/yard? Do you do all quotating yourself? Do you sub to other companies? Other employees? How jobs are dished out? That sort of thing
Thanks for the question mate, I work for my families construction company and I look after the plumbing side only. I do the majority of the plumbing quotes, except the ones where there's multiple trades involved and then I don't always get involved. We have an office and a yard. I think we have around 28 employee full time on the books and have around 24 vans on the road. The original company goes back around 100 years, the guy who taught me started here when he was 15 and retired a good few years back now. I might do a video in the future
It does keep us busy like you say, I could never really see the massive advantage of 8mm over 10mm pipe, 8mm just blocks that much easier, thanks for watching as always Colin 👍
@@PlumbLikeTom thanks for your advice lads, I have put a deposit down on a 30 week course… I also passed an assessment for college too which they will recommend me to employers. See what comes up 🫡
It was all down to cost. British Gas as it was then, used it on all installations I think they called it “Gas Worm”. The sales men were crap or crafty they forgot to add things like T/stats or length of gas supply etc, etc 😱They still got their commission and the item were fitted at no extra cost to the customer so no real saving. 😂😂
As always another great vid, thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for the support as always mate
Well you made short work of that rip out Tom 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for the support as always John

Thanks or the support as always Andy, the flow was a bit steady but it did heat the towel rad up, microbore pipes are never the best
Lovely old job Tom looking forward to part 2
Thanks for the support as always Andy
Great video great rip out Tom. Can’t believe you took all the tiles off with that screwdriver very time consuming. Look forward to the fitting out.
They came off quite well, I find if you go at it too hard it can damage the wall on the other side, thanks for the support as always Mark
Great video tom
Thanks for the support as always Tom
There the best little jobs to get stuck into this time of year,
Plumbing was definitely not rushed in the 1980s 😂😂
Good Video as always mate

i hate microbore, always suprised it works! as you said can piss faster than that 😜
Nice strip out bud. Should be a lovely job when it's all done. Be interesting to see a mcalpine floor gulley haven't seen one of them done before. 😊
Thanks for the support as always Tom
Look forward to the fit out Tom, looks quite a small space to work it always makes it a bit more difficult
Thanks for the support as always Charles, it was quite a small room, like you say it can make things harder sometimes
Back in the day. The miles of 8 mil pipes we put in at least it all makes work for the working man today. 😂😂
It does keep us busy like you say, I could never really see the massive advantage of 8mm over 10mm pipe, 8mm just blocks that much easier, thanks for watching as always Colin 👍
Hello, great vids as always. May I ask, what do you use to record your videos and what software do you use to edit it? Thank you
I use a go pro here 8 and davanci resolve on my pc, feel free to ask if you need anymore info, thanks for watching 👍
Bigger chisel needed for the tiles lol
I like my trusty screwdriver, they came off quite well to be fair, thanks for the support as always Tom
I hope you washed your hands before eating ya sandwiches after taking that bog out with no gloves.😂😂
Always mate, big wipes for the win, thanks for the support as always Darren
Should I do ACS 30 week course or an apprenticeship? 🙏
Do a NVQ level 3 city and guilds apprenticeship. Will take 4 years. Don’t be that qualified with no experience guy
Apprenticeships are the best way to go if you can find one
