Luke thank you for the review! Can you tell me the size of the fan? And the overall size of your device? How is the idle/load/spin up power consumption? Thank you so much.
This NAS doesn’t come with any hard drives so just make sure that the hard drives you buy our 20TB and there’s nothing else that you need to upgrade to have it be 20TB. I would recommend using Red Western Digital drives, which I have a link for in the description. I personally like the software, it works and it does what I need, though I’ve heard from other people that it’s a bit lacking in features compared to other NAS software. I think that’s only for the time being though, as I’m pretty sure they’re going to be adding more functionality to it as it is a new piece of software.
I like these products and very familiar with UGreen, I just want to inform you that the info isn't 100% correct, UGreen did have multiple NAS before this, for example, DX4600 line.
HDD is actually Hard Disk Drive
Its not about the hardware. Its really about the software and if this company has the continual ambition to perfect it over time.
This thing is a beast!
Worth mentioning that the early bird prices are US and Germany only.

Nice video. What else do you need to upgrade to 20TB? Also, how do you like the software?

Nice video!
Can I set up this model as a remote drive where I can access it anywhere in the world?
yes
Does m.2 have also raid feature 🤔
Does this model only support single channel memory?
Nice Peace! 😲
Can’t find it for sale no where at this point
Only Germany and USA for now.

O interesting I was misinformed. Thanks for the info
@@LukeEdwin Can you ask Ugreen ,or do you know if they will make a DAS version of this? Thanks
Why not SSD NAS?
I bet you can use a case to mount the SSD
Ssd's are 2.5 inch so you can definitely use them. Downsides are they tend to be more expensive and smaller capacity
Ssd not suitable to keep data for a very long time if disconnected from power source. It still require electricity. While hdd use magnetic disc.
u cant even order one as of now but of course ppl are selling them full price on ebay hope no one buys it from there
Gigabit... it's Gigabit not Gigabyte
Can I automatically update data to the server?
