Winward Racing is going to be one to watch. That Mercedes is always fast at VIR.

I'm pulling for Lime Rock to get their GT race back. VIR is great too. I'd just love to see 2 GT races return hopefully in 2026.

The GT-only rounds are great, often times the racing in these classes gets overshadowed by the prototypes but they can really provide some great battles!

Hope VIR, LIme Rock, and Laguna Seca can be all GT races. Laguna can have an all Proto race that is split from GT. Perhaps VIR can do that as well.

I go to this race every year but my friend decided this weekend would be a good one for his damn bachelor party... I will never forgive him!

Ah, GT only. iRacing has GTs, LMP2s and Hypercars sharing the track at VIR this week. I’ve thought, if multiple classes are sharing the the real VIR this weekend, it’s going to be insane.

This is my home track, unfortunately I haven't made it out for an IMSA race, but i have been to the Fanatec GT world challenge races. Fun to watch, and a beautiful area for the race.
It is looking to be unseasonably cooler this year for the area, looking to be like the low to mid 80"s, so I think that will be an interesting change to bring for the race from last year.

Hopefully you'll be able to make it out one day, it looks like a really nice track! The cooler temps will definitely be something to keep an eye on. Might help tire deg a bit towards the end of stints!
