How to Re-Screen and Wooden Screen Door

If you have an old house, you may not have a newer aluminum screen door, you may still have one of the older wooden screen doors. And it's likely that if you have an old door, your screening may not be in the best of shape. This video will show you how to replace the old screening in your old wood door.

I'm going to build wooden frames to screen in a porch and all the videos show the aluminum frames with splined fiberglas screens which I don't want. Anyway, this looks really simple and your video has given me the confidence to proceed with the project.

Thanks I am doing something the same but my wood door is not as wide so I don't know what time knob I can use I might have to drill through the trim or cut the trim where the handle should go?

My husband, as I type this is repairing our screen door because the custom builder made the door like this instead of creating a small channel with a router and using spline.
