    Try using an Apple phone to do the measurement. Probably far more accurate than trying to use a measuring tape. Of course if you are able to remove the screen, you can use a tape.

      No, it’s “decorative” but it’s really just to hide the screen staples

    At the end on the install, why was the trim put on the inside and not outside? Is it because of the latch system?
