I was a Sophomore in Highschool when this game came out. I was in electronics class and saw some other students playing this game in the lab. Already a big fan of C&C I approached them to see the new C&C game. At the time I had never seen something so wickedly evil. That UI voice for NOD, the Cyborg Commander with his legs blown off crawling across the map with his arms to continue the fight. The music so despairingly dark. This game was truly amazing! I will say its a cultural masterpiece. This remix with the screenshot is no different. Thanks to all for expanding my imagination.

I love reading a comment like this, hits home. I was in middle school when the game came out. I'd only played the N64 version of the original but Picked Tiberian Sun up at Kmart. The dark atmosphere of this entry in the series made it my fave for sure. Red Alert 2 had some good music too, but this soundtrack has always been my favorite.
Damn I was young when this game came out...I was still in grade 2. One of my friends had an older brother that got us all into this game and the OG Red Alert. None of us looked back ever since.

Would really classify this as a GDI theme because of the beats sounding like the marching of titans.
This reminds me of the GDI mission where you first meet titans and use them to shoot down power plants, granting access to the train yard.
It also plays on "Capture Hammerfest"!

I also felt the same. When i listen this track i always remember the slow but unstoppable march of the titans crushing NOD troopers under their feet.

A man of culture. Tiberian Sun was my first CnC game and it's my favourite classic RTS game.
I think the drop pod intro to the first GDI mission is one of the best campaign starts in the series.

Attacked a nod and scrin base with a horde of Mammoths with APC, slingshot, Juggernaut and firehawk support with this music playing in the background. It was glorious seeing even well prepared defenses getting destroyed completely.

Well this music is awesome when you imagine that YOU are that one NoD commando on that awesome stealth tank from tiberium wars gliding to enemy base and ambush whole base with your infinite power of rockets. Well i miss this good times when stealth tank rush was something you didn't expect.

They’re coming for you Kane! The part at 1:49 always makes me think “oh heck yeah”. Along with the thumbnail I can practically see GDI forces filling the horizon, just awesome. This is one of my favorite remixes of a C&C track.
Something about this song makes me associate it with GDI's mech corps, especially the Titans. This is still the case with this song.

I didn't even play Tiberian Sun or any C&C except Red Alert 2 and 3 wich are one of the best games ever made but I imagine how this sounds when you play and march towards enemy, one of the best songs in a video game and I played a lot honestly, fantastic soundtrack.

This is more of a running track to me. Feels like I am sprinting through a Red Zone chased by Nod soldiers and cyborgs alike.

This is really good, I like it. It's heavy/industrial and kind of sinister. I only found it recently and playing it again for the 30th time.

Would be amazing if we had a remaster of tib sun and have this as a neat theme to play, or even a proper sequel game to, "Correct" some mistakes.

No in the Second game and Third at times they are there too.
Star Born Michael Hall They are there only when they're on a mission, like preventing GDI from destroying the alien towers in the third game, or ruining CABAL's Tiberium harvesting operations in the second game. Other than that, they settle in the Yellow Zones so it's mostly Scrin in the Red Zones.

Parts of this song conjure up memories of actual tanks I’ve seen for some reason. A Ukrainian T-72 MBT rolling away during the more recent war in Donbass region there, or video from inside the turret of an American Abrams MBT. I suppose it’s because of the Mammoth tanks in the thumbnail and the mechanical sound of the track itself.

you really need good, large enough speakers or a subwoofer for this song. if i play it on my galaxy J3 the entire pulsating base in the beginning just vanishes cause the tiny speaker just cant create that frequency^^
